Despite this, the art is amazing and the colors are vibrant. The characters are drawn beautifully, and the action scenes are thrilling. The artist has done a great job at capturing the personalities of the characters and their interactions with each other. There is a lot of potential for the relationship between Craig and Storm to develop further, but it’s hard to get past the lack of backstory. The story of Rogue and Gambit is one of a complicated relationship of two people with deep romantic feelings for each other, yet they are unable to express those feelings in a meaningful way. The third issue of the limited series deepens this story as readers get to witness the conflict between Rogue and Gambit as they both struggle to understand each other’s point of view.
