Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. I have been excited to create this line-up ever since I have been watching and re-watching “Forever Red” from Power Rangers Wild Force. It has been my greatest endeavor ever since I have finally ended up being satisfied with my arrangements with the Toonami-Era Inurangers teams. I have also been reiterating that the Toonami-Era Inurangers version of “Forever Red” has nine male Red Rangers and two female Red Rangers, thus showing that anybody can be a Red Ranger. Now, it is time for me to tackle the line-up of Toonami-Era Red Inurangers in their version of “Forever Red.” Ever since day one of creating my Inurangers headcanon, I already knew who was going to lead the Toonami-Era Red Inurangers in “Forever Red”, especially since this special celebrated ten seasons of Inurangers during the Toonami era from 2000 to 2006. He is none other than Inuyasha the original Red Inuranger who controls the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord, the Tyrannosaurus-Red Dragon Thunderzord, and the Red Ape Ninjazord during his Mighty Morphin Inurangers tenure. For three seasons of Mighty Morphin Inurangers, one team-up during Inurangers Zeo, and one grander team-up during Inurangers in Space, he has lived up to Tommy Oliver’s title and legacy of being the greatest Ranger ever and Jason Lee Scott’s strong brand of leadership. Therefore, just like Tommy in “Forever Red,” Inuyasha leads the Toonami-era Red Inurangers to battle against the Demon Beast Empire consisting of Chokyukai, Suzaku, Genbu, Byakko, and Seiryu from Inuyasha, who are also the Inurangers version of the remaining Machine Empire bent on resurrecting Serpenterra. Furthermore, Kimiaki Shirai and Masayuki Haitani from Love Hina, who are the Inurangers’ version of Bulk and Skull, give the phone to Inuyasha for him to assemble the rest of the Red Rangers. Ippo the Red Wild Force Inuranger would even be astounded at Inuyasha’s presence and legacy as the Greatest Inuranger ever by the end of “Forever Red.” Despite Inuyasha being technically akin to Jason Lee Scott in terms of leadership, it is Toran who inherits Jason’s rougher edge and his iconic line of the team not being complete without her as Inuyasha’s replacement. She would even call Ippo the rookie of the team. Yes, Toran is the Red Zeo Inuranger just like Tommy is during his tenure in Power Rangers Zeo. However, she acts more like Jason in the sense that she is the lancer with an edge in this all-Red Ranger team-up. Much like how Jason jokes about Tommy kissing Kimberly in the juice bar, Toran also jokes about Inuyasha saying that he may have done all the work as the original Inuranger leader, but he was also kissing Ayame after their missions. Toran works greatly as a lancer to Inuyasha’s main hero/leader/mentor figure because of how well they can bounce off of each other as fellow Red Inurangers. Inuyasha’s experience as the main hero and leader and Toran’s edge as the lancer complement each other perfectly. You might have also recognized that there is a total of eleven Red Rangers. This is because I have also given the Inurangers version of Alex Drake, Takeshi Sendo from Hajime no Ippo, a very important role in this version of “Forever Red.” I also see Takeshi as a combination of Rocky’s lancer nature during his tenure as the second Mighty Morphin Red Ranger and Alex’s sternness during his tenure as the original Red Time Force Ranger. With those attributes combined, Takeshi ends up being a worthy addition to the “Forever Red” line-up, and both Rocky and Alex are vindicated in the sense that he gets to join his fellow Red Rangers as the Red Shadow Time Force Ranger. Thus, Takeshi can still work wonderfully with Kiibo as the Red Time Force Ranger and Baki as the Quantum Ranger from the same series. With that said, you know what time it is. It’s Morphin’ Time! Shift into Turbo! Let’s Rocket! Go Galactic! Lightspeed Rescue! Time for Time Force! Quantum Power! Wild Access! Red Rangers unite! Forever Red: The Toonami-Era Red Inurangers Team-Up (2006) Inuyasha, the original Red Inuranger, has assembled his fellow Red Inurangers for a mission: to stop Chokyukai, Suzaku, Genbu, Byakko, and Seiryu from resurrecting Serpenterra. Ippo the Red Wild Force Inuranger and newcomer to the mission is overwhelmed by the presence of previous Red Inurangers who have also fought bravely to save the world, with some of them being leaders of their respective teams. There is going to be a lot of high-octane action and excitement when the eleven Toonami-Era Red Inurangers join forces and protect the world from the clutches of the Demon Beast Empire. Inurangers
Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything from the early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. I have never been this excited to cover the Toonami-Era Inuranger team-ups during the Post-Zordon era because this has been in the back of my mind for a long time. Ever since I straightened out my Toonami-Era Inurangers teams to the lineups I was satisfied with, I felt more motivated to make the team-ups come to fruition. Now that I touched upon the Zordon-Era/Toonami-Era Inurangers team-ups, it is time for me to have a go at the Post-Zordon-Era/Toonami-Era Inurangers team-ups from the Inurangers Lost Galaxy version of “To the Tenth Power” to the Inurangers Wild Force version of “Reinforcements from the Future Parts 1 and 2.” Before you ask, what about the Toonami-Era Inurangers version of “Forever Red”? What about that lineup? That will be a separate entry because I would love to go more in-depth with it. Furthermore, I have an interesting arrangement with my Toonami-Era Inurangers version of “Forever Red.” I also want to make this disclaimer, especially for Inurangers Lost Galaxy. For those of you who have been reading the Toonami-Era Inurangers team line-ups, you might have recognized that there are already seven Galaxy Rangers, specifically where there are two Pink Rangers. If Power Rangers Turbo could get away with two Blue Rangers and Power Rangers Time Force could get away with two, technically three, Red Rangers, I see no reason why Power Rangers Lost Galaxy could not get away with two Pink Rangers. This is true when Kendrix and Karone both don their Pink Galaxy Ranger garbs. Fortunately, both Megumi Minami and Maya Orihara, who are the Inurangers Lost Galaxy versions of Kendrix Morgan and Karone respectively, can coexist as two different Pink Galaxy Rangers. Megumi is the Pink Galaxy Heavenly Seraph Ranger complete with wings on her back and heels like a combination of Hermes and a seraph. If Kendrix had managed to maintain her Galaxy powers in the afterlife, she would have ended up in that Ranger suit, which would have increased her overall power of heavenly light. Her costume design rich in celestial symbolism serves as a counterbalance to the earthier, more bull-like design of the Magna Defender. On the other hand, Maya retains her regular Pink Galaxy Ranger suit from the beginning, as her tenure as Dark Witch Maya is over by the end of Inurangers in Space. Therefore, Maya’s current tenure as the Pink Galaxy Ranger is her penance from the beginning until the end after her time as Dark Witch Maya and being especially redeemed by Mika the Red Space Inuranger. I hope this manages to clear the air without giving way too much away. Let us not waste any time, and get these Post-Zordon-Era, let alone the remainder of the Toonami-Era, Inuranger team-ups cracking. Go galactic! Lightspeed Rescue! Titanium Power! Time for Time Force! Quantum Power! Wild Access! Inurangers Lost Galaxy: “To the Fourteenth Power” The Space/Galaxy Inurangers Team-Up (2003) The seven Psycho Inurangers consisting of Rizelle from Chrono Crusade as Psycho Red, Kouga from Inuyasha as Psycho Green, Hiten from Inuyasha as Psycho Silver, Bankotsu from Inuyasha as Psycho Black, Lyra from Fullmetal Alchemist as Psycho Blue, Shader from Chrono Crusade as Psycho Yellow, and Ryomo Shimei from Ikki Tousen as Psycho Pink strike again. Maya’s initial creations during her time as Dark Witch Maya are resurrected by Sousuke Aizen from Bleach, the Inurangers version of Deviot. She is horrified to know that the Psycho Inurangers have been resurrected and does her part to stop them, just as Ryoma and Mika try to destroy Rizelle. Even Ryomo does her part in taunting Maya for her errors. Just as the seven Psycho Inurangers are about to decimate the seven Galaxy Inurangers, the seven Space Inurangers join in the battle. In this version, even Mitsuhide and Tsume participate to make this team-up amount to fourteen space-themed Inurangers. Ryoma Sakamoto from Shura no Toki the 21-year-old Red Galaxy Ranger version of Leo Corbett voiced by Marc Diraison Mika Seido from Geneshaft the 19-year-old Red Space Ranger version of Andros voiced by Amanda Winn Lee Shinosuke from Inuyasha the 22-year-old Black Galaxy Magna Defender Ranger version of Mike Corbett voiced by Trevor Devall Mitsuhide Kuroda from Shootfighter Tekken the 22-year-old Silver Space Ranger version of Zhane voiced by Crispin Freemaniced by Tom Wayland Tsume from Wolf’s Rain the 21-year-old Silver Space Ranger version of Zhane voiced by Crispin Freeman Masaru Aoki from Hajime no Ippo the 21-year-old Blue Galaxy Ranger version of Kai Chen voiced by Stephen Apostollina Tatsuya Kimura from Hajime no Ippo the 21-year-old Black Space Ranger version of Carlos Vallerte voiced by Grant George Akemi Takaishi from Shootfighter Tekken the 17-year-old Green Galaxy Ranger version of Damon Henderson voiced by Rachael Lillis Takako Kawashima from Shootfighter Tekken the 18-year-old Blue Space Ranger version of Theodore Jay “TJ” Jarvis Johnson voiced by Michele Knotz Rose Anderson from Solty Rei the 16-year-old Yellow Galaxy Ranger version of Maya voiced by Colleen Clinkenbeard Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist the 15-year-old Yellow Space Ranger version of Ashley Hammond voiced by Caitlin Glass Megumi Minami from Detective School Q the 14-year-old Pink Galaxy Heavenly Seraph Ranger version of Kendrix Morgan voiced by Hilary Haag Maya Orihara from Ultra Maniac the 14-year-old Pink Galaxy Ranger version of Karone voiced by Philece Sampler Solty Revant from Solty Rei the 14-year-old Pink Space Ranger version of Cassie Chan voiced by Carrie Savage Inurangers Lost Galaxy: “The Power of Pink” The Space/Galaxy Inurangers Team-Up (2003) Rizelle, Kouga, Hiten, Bankotsu, Lyra, and Shader may have been defeated, but Ryomo is not down for the count yet. As the Inurangers version of Psycho Pink, she has her Savage Sword on standby. Maya manages to destroy Ryomo with her Transdagger. However, the Savage Sword is still bent on destroying the world. Megumi uses her Quasar Saber to destroy it but at a cost. She transcends…
Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. High off the recent joy of my thoroughly improved version of the Toonami-Era Inurangers teams, I have finally come to do what I have always wanted to accomplish. I am talking about the Toonami-Era Inurangers team-ups. Because all of the Inurangers teams have seven main rangers, the team-ups shall be divided accordingly, as I can only fit in team-ups consisting of fourteen. Much like the real-life Saban-Era Power Rangers series, the team-ups here shall be divided into the Zordon-Era ranger team-ups and the Post-Zordon-Era ranger team-ups. Therefore, I will commence with the Mighty Morphin Inurangers/Cloaked Pilot team-up and end with the Inurangers in Space version of the two-part “Countdown to Destruction.” In terms of the ranger line-up, it is the usual arrangement of the Red Ranger, the Sixth Ranger, the Seventh Ranger, the Black/Blue Ranger, the Blue/Green Ranger, the Yellow Ranger, and the Pink Ranger. However, the first team-up has the special introduction of a certain Cloaked Pilot added into the mix. Without further ado, it’s morphin’ time! Shift into turbo! Let’s rocket! Mighty Morphin Inurangers Season 3: A Friend in Need Parts 1 to 3 (2000) The first team-up sees the main seven Mighty Morphin Inurangers consisting of Inuyasha, Shuran, Sesshoumaru, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran being assigned to the Milky Way, as it is under attack by the Inurangers’ universe’s version of Lord Dregon, Admiral Gunter Prozen and Hiltz. This is the team-up where they encounter Prince Rudolph Zeppelin III and help him fight against Prozen, Hiltz, and their cronies. Unlike the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 3 first set of three-part episodes where Kimberly gets the flu, Shunran does not get sick with the flu and joins her fellow Inurangers all while coming back to earth to do battle with the monster of the day. Furthermore, Prince Rudolph has a superhero alter-ego called the Cloaked Pilot, which is the Inurangers’ universe’s version of the Masked Rider. Inuyasha from Inuyasha the 18-year-old Red Tyrannosaurus Ranger version of Jason Lee Scott and Tommy Oliver voiced by Richard Ian Cox Shuran from Inuyasha the 18-year-old Green Dragonzord Ranger version of Tommy Oliver and Rocky DeSantos voiced by Scott Logie Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha the 19-year-old White Tigerzord Ranger version of David Trueheart and Tommy Oliver voiced by David Kaye Hakkaku from Inuyasha the 17-year-old Black Mastodon Ranger version of Zack Taylor and Adam Park voiced by Alistair Abell Ginta from Inuyasha the 17-year-old Blue Triceratops Ranger version of Billy Cranston and Adam Park voiced by Paul Dobson Ayame from Inuyasha the 15-year-old Yellow Sabertoothed Tiger Ranger version of Trini Kwan and Aisha Campbell voiced by Natalie Walters Shunran from Inuyasha the 14-year-old Pink Pterodactyl Ranger version of Kimberly Ann Hart and Katherine Hillard voiced by Jocelyne Loewen Prince Rudolph Zeppelin III the 11-year-old Cloaked Pilot version of Prince Dex of Edenoi aka The Masked Rider voiced by Elinor Holt The Entirety of Mighty Ronin Inurangers (2001) This is the ten-episode Mighty Ronin Inurangers saga after Urasue and Naraku turn Inuyasha, Shuran, Sesshoumaru, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran into children. As the seven Yokai warriors with attitude cannot morph into their Inuranger suits, a new set of Inurangers come to fight evil in their stead. They are the Ronin Inurangers from the planet Mithril. Some select episodes also have the young Inuyasha maintain his leadership role as the Ronin Inurangers are fighting monsters and protecting civilians as well as assuring his teammates of their next journey. While the Ronin Inurangers of Mithril fight against Urasue’s and Naraku’s demons and monsters, the Mighty Morphin Inuranger Kids search for the Zeo Crystals as well as new friends to become a new set of Inurangers. Ryuichi Hayami from Hajime no Ippo the 18-year-old Red Ronin Inuranger version of Aurico voiced by Nathan Smythe Inuyasha from Inuyasha the 9-year-old Red Tyrannosaurus Ranger Kid version of Jason Lee Scott and Tommy Oliver voiced by Richard Ian Cox Kaname Chidori from Full Metal Panic the 17-year-old Green Ronin Inuranger version of Dulcea voiced by Luci Christian Shuran from Inuyasha the 9-year-old Green Dragonzord Ranger Kid version of Tommy Oliver and Rocky DeSantos voiced by Alex House Teletha “Tessa” Testarossa from Full Metal Panic the 17-year-old White Ronin Inuranger version of Delphine voiced by Hilary Haag Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha the 10-year-old White Tigerzord Ranger Kid version of David Trueheart and Tommy Oliver voiced by Jason Marsden Mario Musicanova from Geneshaft the 18-year-old Black Ronin Inuranger version of Corcus voiced by Crispin Freeman Hakkaku from Inuyasha the 8-year-old Black Mastodon Ranger Kid version of Zack Taylor and Adam Park voiced by Jonathan Malen Hiroto Amagiwa from Geneshaft the 17-year-old Blue Ronin Inuranger version of Cestro voiced by Dominic Armato Ginta from Inuyasha the 8-year-old Blue Triceratops Ranger Kid version of Billy Cranston and Adam Park voiced by Noah Reid Mizuki Inaba from Full Metal Panic the 16-year-old Yellow Ronin Inuranger version of Tideus voiced by Mandy Clark Ayame from Inuyasha the 6-year-old Yellow Sabertoothed Tiger Ranger Kid version of Trini Kwan and Aisha Campbell voiced by Natalie Walters Remmy Levy-Strauss from Geneshaft the 15-year-old Pink Ronin Inuranger version of Cestria voiced by Brianne Siddall Shunran from Inuyasha the 5-year-old Pink Pterodactyl Ranger Kid version of Kimberly Ann Hart and Katherine Hillard voiced by Jocelyne Loewen Inurangers Zeo: The Mighty Morphin Inurangers and Inurangers Zeo Team-Up (2001) As I have already established in my Inurangers AU headcanon, every Inuranger season shall have different characters for the different ranger roles. Unlike Zeo, where the Mighty Morphin cast plus Tanya Sloan continue being involved, the Mighty Morphin Inurangers and Zeo Inurangers are completely different people. This gets to the point where the Mighty Morphin Inuranger Kids and the Inuranger Zeo Kids turn back into teenagers and young adults, thanks to using the regenerator powered by the Mighty Morphin Inurangers’ power coins and Zeo Crystals. After that, they have their…
Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. As you can tell from the title, I am giving this Toonami-Era Inuranger team lineup one last shot. I was undoubtedly satisfied with the team lineups that I arranged for Mighty Morphin Inurangers, Inurangers in Space, Inurangers Lost Galaxy, and Inurangers Time Force, and I decided to keep them this way. However, looking back at the teams that I arranged for Mighty Morphin Makai Rangers which I will rename Mighty Ronin Inurangers, Inurangers Zeo, Inurangers Turbo, Inurangers Lightspeed Rescue, and Inurangers Wild Force, I was not pleased looking back at these lineups. I also wanted to give the YuYu Hakusho cast their spot independent from my Inurangers AU headcanon. Therefore, Mighty Ronin Inurangers will receive a cast overhaul, while Inurangers Zeo, Inurangers Turbo, Inurangers Lightspeed Rescue, and Inurangers Wild Force will have some cast changeups. For those of you who are new to this cast lineup, the Toonami-Era Inurangers are the fictional counterpart to the Saban-Era Power Rangers from 1993 to 2002 after more dedicated rewatching of all three seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers up to Power Rangers Wild Force. Mighty Morphin Inurangers involves Inuyasha, Shuran, Sesshoumaru, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran as the main seven rangers. The subsequent Inurangers series also follows the format of having seven main rangers per season akin to the real-life Super Sentai and Power Rangers counterparts in Japan and America respectively. Sure, the real-life Super Sentai and Power Rangers counterparts usually top between five to six main members. However, I argue that seven is the perfect number for a Super Sentai or Power Rangers team. Ever since committing myself to creating Inurangers team lineups, I have become a lot stricter with how the teams shall be arranged. All three seasons of Mighty Morphin Inurangers and Inurangers Time Force have five male members and two female members. In contrast, Inurangers in Space and Inurangers Lost Galaxy have three male members and four female members. However, the other Inurangers series ended up becoming a bit fast and loose with how many male members and female members can be in each Inuranger team, with Inurangers Zeo having two male members and five female members, as well as Mighty Morphin Makai Rangers, Inurangers Turbo, Inurangers Lightspeed Rescue, and Inurangers Wild Force, having four male members and three female members. Now that I have become a lot more straightforward with my visions for the Toonami-Era Inurangers teams, I have decided to strictly adhere to the five-male-member/two-female-member and three-male-member/four-female-member formats. Why I chose these arrangements is because the five-male-member/two-female-member and three-male-member/four-female-member formats are my favorite ones to work with. This is how each team lineup shall be arranged. Each team lineup shall have seven main members, i.e., the Red Ranger, the Sixth Ranger, the Seventh Ranger, the Black/Blue Ranger, the Blue/Green Ranger, the Yellow Ranger, and the Pink Ranger. All three seasons of Mighty Morphin Inurangers, Inurangers Turbo, and Inurangers Time Force shall have five male members and two female members. Meanwhile, Mighty Ronin Inurangers, Inurangers Zeo, Inurangers in Space, Inurangers Lost Galaxy, Inurangers Lightspeed Rescue, and Inurangers Wild Force shall have three male members and four female members. All three seasons of Mighty Morphin Inurangers will have the same cast members all the way through, as there are also composite characters, while the subsequent Inurangers seasons will have different characters just like the real-life Super Sentai counterparts. With that said, let us get acquainted with the new, improved, and way clearer version of the Toonami-Era Inuranger teams’ lineups. Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. As you can tell from the title, I have decided to give the Toonami-Era Inuranger teams an extra final makeover in terms of some of the team members. While I am already satisfied with the respective seven-person Mighty Morphin Inurangers Seasons 1 to 3, Mighty Morphin Makai Rangers, and Inurangers Zeo teams, I still need to do some final tune-ups to perfection with the teams from Inurangers Turbo to Inurangers Wild Force. I was also fresh off going through four rewatch sessions of Power Rangers Time Force, thus justifying my action to make one final tune-up to the fictional Toonami-Era Inuranger teams from Turbo to Wild Force, specifically from 2002 to 2006. Without further ado, here are my redone Toonami-Era Inurangers teams from Turbo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and Wild Force. Shift into Turbo! Let’s rocket! Go galactic! Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. This shall be the very last updated Toonami-era Inurangers teams list that serves as a fictional counterpart to the real-life Saban Era of the Power Rangers from 1993 starting with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to 2002 ending with Power Rangers Wild Force before moving to Disney, specifically ABC Kids, after Episode 26. My fictionalized Toonami-era Inurangers series would air from August 28, 2000, starting with all three seasons of Mighty Morphin Inurangers to December 31, 2005, ending with Inurangers Wild Force. Where Mighty Morphin Inurangers is concerned, this is going to be the season consisting of decomposite and composite characters for the main seven rangers, as I base them on which real-life counterparts they fit best. So, no Peace Conferences, no International Gymnastics deals, and no unexplained replacements are going to occur. Furthermore, this list is going to be kept to solely seven members per installment, considering that it follows the Super Sentai pattern of different team members per season. After much thinking, reflecting, and re-tweaking, and since Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ 30th anniversary is gradually then suddenly approaching, I believe I have concocted a finalized Toonami-Era Inurangers line-up that I am most satisfied with and one that I feel makes more sense. I also feel that this line-up is going to be a whole lot more fully realized and legitimate after the countless times I have been updating and re-updating the team line-up for what felt like ages. The same rule applies that the main seven colors of red, green or any other color, white or any other color, black or blue, blue or green, yellow, and pink apply to each ranger team. As to be expected certain characters such as Billy Cranston from Zeo, Adam Park from In Space, Nancy Cooper from Lightspeed Rescue, Alex Drake from Time Force, and even Princess Shayla from Wild Force are going to have their more fictional counterparts more active rangers to thoroughly complete the seven-ranger team line-up for each season. With that said, it is time to morph into action for my final update of the Toonami-era Inurangers teams from Mighty Morphin to Wild Force. Say it with me now, everybody. It’s Morphin’ Time! Shift into Turbo! Let’s rocket! Go galactic! Lightspeed Rescue! Time for Time Force! Wild access! Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. Be prepared to don those nostalgia goggles once again, everybody, because I am going to take you back to the years where my fictionalised version of Saban’s Power Rangers franchise from August 28, 1993 to August 10, 2002, with the final Saban-Era Power Ranger incarnation Wild Force airing its twenty-sixth episode before moving to Disney, would have aired on Toonami from August 28, 2000 to September 20, 2008. As to be expected, these also include the Inuranger movie tie-ins much like their real-life counterparts in the forms of 1995’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie and 1997’s Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. Strap in for a morphenomenal ride back to your childhoods, fellow 90s to early 2000s friends, and stay glued to your television screens with some popcorn . This will mark the last time I am ever going to redo this list of what I would call the Toonami Era of the Inurangers franchise, which is the Saban Era of Power Rangers franchises’s fictionalised counterpart. It is not because I do not want to do it anymore, but because I love the Saban Era of the Power Rangers even with some of its gaping flaws and moments of campiness, and, of course, I also love anime with a passion. Even looking back at the previous attempts of making the Toonami-Era Inurangers teams list, I did not know what I was thinking when assigning certain characters these particular rangers. For instance, the fact that I made Kyuzo from Samurai 7 the Inuranger version of Cole Evans of Wild Force was a decision I regretted, but I have learned from this experience, and I would gladly recast Kyuzo as a seventh ranger in Inurangers Lightspeed Rescue and reassign the Cole Evans role to none other than Ippo Makunouchi from Hajime no Ippo. Speaking of Hajime no Ippo and recasting, there will also be some recasts done, including having Ichiro Miyata be the Inurangers Turbo version of TJ Johnson among other decisions that shall gladly be rectified. Nevertheless, this is still going to be a whole lot of fun because at least they are in their right roles, with select entries still maintaining their right casting. Ever since re-evaluating and re-organising the Toonami-era Inurangers teams, I have also become a lot stricter in terms of one cast of seven members per incarnation. As I stated before, I am not going by the real-life Super Sentai/Power Rangers franchise of having mostly five to eventually six members per incarnation but a total of seven members, for the colours of red, green, white, black, blue, yellow, and pink shall remain intact as the primary Inuranger colours, although incarnations such as In Space, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and Wild Force would mix up the colour scheme. For instance, Mighty Morphin Inurangers Seasons 1 until 3 will still have the same cast of seven rangers, while Zeo and subsequent seasons would have entirely new casts of seven rangers, although there will be some members of Inurangers Turbo who are going to end up in the In Space incarnation. Therefore, the strict rule of seven members per Inurangers incarnation prevails. I would also like to have a word about composite and decomposite characters because this is something I could have addressed a little bit more verbosely when I was doing these Inurangers lists. Because there are seven members per Inurangers incarnation in total, there will be occasions where the traits of certain characters would also be inhabited by the characters I have chosen to be the specific colour of Inuranger. This especially holds the most weight in Mighty Morphin Inurangers, but is also true for Inurangers In Space, Inurangers Lightspeed Rescue, and Inurangers Time Force to a certain extent. For instance, Sesshoumaru the White Mighty Morphin Inuranger and Shuran the Green Mighty Morphin Inuranger are decomposite characters of Tommy Oliver’s tenure as the Green Ranger from MMPR Seasons 1 to 2 and the White Ranger from MMPR Seasons 2 to 3, with the former leaning towards more on Tommy Oliver’s entire persona and the latter bearing most traits from Tommy’s clone/”twin” Tom from “Return of the Green Ranger”. Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran are going to receive the composite character treatment, and you will find out which composite character combinations suit them the most. So, do not expect any Peace Conferences or International Gymnastics deals or what have you to occur in any of these instances, especially with what specifically happened to Walter Emanuel Jones, Thuy Trang, and Austin St. John during their tenure on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Besides, the less said about what happened during their time with payment and their demand for unionisation the better because that is quite the can of worms several Power Rangers fans could never shake off. There will also be instances where certain allies to the Power Rangers in canon would find themselves being rangers themselves as embodied by the chosen characters, such as the likes of Billy the former Blue Mighty Morphin Power Ranger from Zeo as the White Gold Ranger, Alex Drake the first Red Time Force Ranger joining in the team as the Crimson Time Ranger, Ms. Angela Fairweather from Lightspeed Rescue participating as the Chromium Lightspeed Rescue Ranger, and Princess Shayla from Wild Force becoming more active as the Emerald Deer Ranger all embodied by the characters I have chosen for them. They will essentially contribute far more than any viewer or hardcore Power Rangers let alone Super Sentai fan can ever bargain for. Additionally, there are also some mixes as to which character I would assign for which specific ranger, especially since I would assign Toran from Inuyasha as the first female Red Inuranger in Inurangers Zeo with Mika Seido from Geneshaft as the second female Red Inuranger for In Space following suit, Botan from YuYu Hakusho as the first…
Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s. Antoni here. Ever since I made the cast list of what I would love to call the “Saban” Era of Inurangers for the first time, I thought I was going to be satisfied with it. However, looking back at that former list, I was not entirely happy let alone satisfied with it, as there were some casting choices that could have been more legitimate let alone improved. There were casting choices which were based on me not fully researching on the character enough, which made me inquire to myself, what I was thinking when I made that move. Furthermore, some of the casting choices were based off of either blind nostalgia or just simply not knowing any better. I have also done some reflecting on the “Saban” era of the Inurangers. Much like how its original and real-life Saban-era Power Rangers counterpart aired on Fox Kids from 1993 to 2002, I figured that the Inurangers’ “Saban” era would be called the Toonami Era from 2000 to 2009 because Toonami would be a great Cartoon Network afternoon block for children, teenagers, and the young at heart to see anime characters in spandex fighting evil while also having the occasional PSA that would teach us lessons about discipline, honesty, encouragement, and dedication. Yes, I know the original Toonami ended in October 2008, but just think of this as my personal vindication for the fans who really loved and were passionate about the 1997 to 2008 era of Toonami. Once again the same rule applies for Inurangers in terms of main members, especially when I also list the anime series they originally come from. Unlike its real-life Power Rangers counterparts where there are between five to six main members of their respective groups from Mighty Morphin to Wild Force, there is going to be seven main members in the Inuranger franchise. Why seven, I hear you ask again? Let me remind you that the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from Seasons 1 to 3, despite Tommy Oliver being the Green Ranger from Seasons 1 to 2 and the White Ranger from Seasons 2 to 3, actually has a total of seven Power Ranger suits, thus following the colour scheme of having a red ranger, a green ranger, a white ranger, a black ranger, a blue ranger, a yellow ranger, and a pink ranger. Member-wise, there will also be some deviations, especially in the later parts of Mighty Morphin Inurangers Seasons 2, all of Mighty Morphin Inurangers Season 3, and the later parts of Inurangers Zeo, as there are going to be a total of eleven members at least in those seasons. Colour-wise, there are also going to be some deviations in In Space, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and Wild Force. Finally, and this is something I should have done in the older list, I am also going to list their English voice actors for their respective rangers because I am sure you would love the thought of hearing them say their respective Inuranger morphing time roll calls. With that said, grab your bowl of cereal, plate of bacon and eggs, glass of orange juice, and pieces of fruit, as you sit in front of the television to see your favourite anime heroes in spandex defend the world from all evil. It’s Morphin time! Shift into Turbo! Let’s rocket! Go galactic! Lightspeed rescue! Time for Time Force! Greetings, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, and all things early 90s until early 2000s. Antoni here with another piece of writing I have for you. Ever since rewatching Power Rangers, especially Mighty Morphin, Zeo, and Turbo, I have been thinking about combining anime with the different seasons from the Saban era. Just like Power Rangers’ Saban Era, the “Saban Era” of Inurangers would go on for a total of nine years starting in 2000 with Mighty Morphin Inurangers and ending in 2009 with Inurangers Wild Force. However, unlike the real life Power Rangers counterparts where there is usually between five to six Power Rangers, the Inurangers franchise would see a total of seven Inurangers starting from the very first episode. Why seven? Because this follows the colour scheme of having a red ranger, a green ranger, a white ranger, a black ranger, a blue ranger, a yellow ranger, and a pink ranger. Yes, some iterations would deviate from this formula, especially where In Space, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and Wild Force are concerned. Zeo is a completely different beast altogether, but you will find out more about it when I deal with Inurangers Zeo. Nevertheless, the seven-member limit remains almost like DC’s Justice League and Marvel’s Avengers. With that said, here are the lists of the Inurangers of each season during their debut episodes. More details will come in their respective series, just like what I have done with the first instalment Mighty Morphin Inurangers. Not only will there be characters from Inuyasha, but also from Texhnolyze, Wolf’s Rain, Baki the Grappler, Shura no Toki, Shootfighter Tekken, Hajime no Ippo, Fullmetal Alchemist, Detective School Q, Ultra Maniac, Samurai 7, and Solty Rei. I am also sure that when you see the lists of each Inuranger team, you could already imagine humming, let alone singing, their respective theme tunes for yourselves and even be excited when you think about them morphing into their Ranger costumes.
