InuAya
(Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s cave, which is made into their gym complete with weights, a punching bag, and other primitive-looking exercise equipment. Inuyasha lifts a barbell made of metal, while Ayame lifts a dumbbell made of oak wood. Inuyasha and Ayame stop their lifting and put their weights down, as they notice their audience.) Inuyasha and Ayame: Oh, hi. Inuyasha: Name’s Inuyasha. Ayame: And I’m Ayame. Inuyasha: And welcome to our abode. Ayame: We got something to ask you, dear viewers. Inuyasha: Do you wanna build muscles like these? (Inuyasha flexes his biceps and lets out a fierce, feral roar.) Ayame: Do you feel the need to better your overall combat prowess so that you can show your enemies who’s the boss? Inuyasha: Do you wanna get physical no matter what the situation? Ayame: Well, folks, you’ve come to the right place because our cave home is a gym for anyone who wants to train like a warrior with us. Inuyasha: We’ve been married for eighteen years and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful and beautiful wife like Ayame. Ayame: And I couldn’t have asked for a stronger, more powerful, and more awesome husband like Inuyasha. Inuyasha: Plus, we have seven amazing kids that we have been raising to the best of our abilities as parents by making sure that they stay as strong, healthy, and determined as the fighters they are. Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, Kaito, Momoko, and Maya (from afar) : Hey, Mom and Dad! Ayame: And here they are now! (Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, Kaito, Momoko, and Maya excitedly enter the cave. Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, and Kaito playfully wrestle, box, and flex their muscles with Inuyasha while Momoko and Maya high-five and hip bump Ayame, therefore culminating in a huge family group hug.) Inuyasha: See, what did we tell you? Ayame: We’re one happy and proud family. Inuyasha: Say, honey, shall we let the kids introduce themselves? Ayame: Certainly, darling. Inuyasha: All right, kiddos, show the audience at home who you are and what you’re capable of! Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, Kaito, Momoko, and Maya: Yes, sir, dad! (Masataka and Masaya step forward.) Masataka: Hi! I’m Masataka. Masaya: And I’m Masaya. (Masataka and Masaya raise their arms and flex their biceps. Simultaneously, they make their pecs bounce all while they unleash a thunderous roar.) Masataka and Masaya: And we’re the muscle gods you do not wanna mess with. (Kenta and Keita step forward.) Kenta: Dudes, if you think that’s something… Keita: Then check this out. Masataka and Masaya: Whatever you say, bros. (Masataka and Masaya give a respective noogie to Kenta and Keita.) Kenta: Hi, I’m Kenta. Keita: And I’m Keita. (Kenta and Keita also raise their arms and flex their biceps. After that, they do the crab version of the most muscular pose.) Kenta and Keita: And we’re always ready to rumble. (Kaito steps forward and gives a high-five and a huge hug to Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita.) Kaito: Greetings, viewers, my name is Kaito. (Kaito flexes his biceps and then flexes his lats.) Kaito: And just because I may seem nice does not mean that I don’t have the body to pummel my enemies. Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita: All right, little bro! Woohoo!!! Kaito: And I couldn’t have asked for more awesome big brothers like Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita. (Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita all hug Kaito, as Momoko steps forward.) Momoko: Hey, everybody, my name’s Momoko! (Momoko does a jab, a high kick, and is in her fighting position.) Momoko: And just because I’m pretty, does not mean I don’t know how to kick your butt. (Maya then high-fives Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, Kaito, and Momoko and hugs all of her siblings.) Maya: Hello! I’m Maya. (Maya raises her right arm, turns around, and forms a fist.) Maya: And I may be small and the youngest, but I can surely pummel anyone with pride. Inuyasha and Ayame: Well done, kids. Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, Kaito, Momoko, and Maya: Thanks, Mom and Dad. Ayame: Here at our gym we offer a variety of activities. From weightlifting… (Inuyasha, Ayame, Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, Kaito, Momoko, and Maya demonstrate this by effortlessly lifting dumbbells and barbells.) Inuyasha: All right, family. On the count of three, we’re gonna lift all of these barbells up to the heavens. Ayame: Roger that, honey. Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, Kaito, Momoko, and Maya: Yes, sir, Dad! Inuyasha: Okay. One…Two…Three…. (Inuyasha, Ayame, Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, Kaito, Momoko, and Maya lift their heavy barbells as they all let out a thundering triumphant roar to the heavens.) Inuyasha: To circuit training… (Kaito, Momoko, and Maya perform chin-ups, jump rope, sprinting, and punching the punching post.) Kaito: HA! Momoko: YA! Maya: HWAH! Ayame: To kickboxing…. (Momoko and Maya land a barrage of punches and kicks to each other with Ayame acting as the moderator, thus ensuring a fair fight between the two sisters. She even goes out of her way to spar with her daughters.) Ayame: Wow, girls, you are definitely getting better all the time. (Ayame lands a punch to Momoko who dodges it.) Momoko: Thanks, Mom. (Momoko counters it with a roundhouse kick.) Maya: We’re really grateful to have an awesome coach like you. Inuyasha: To wrestling…. (The wrestling ring. Masataka and Masaya snarl at Kenta and Keita, as all four young men are prepared to fight. Inuyasha even snarls at Kaito, who snarls back at him. Inuyasha gives Kaito an overpowering bearhug but he counters it with a bash to his father’s head. Meanwhile, Masataka gives Kenta a full Nelson while Masaya lifts Keita off the ground. Needless to say, all of these wrestling matches are intense. Then comes the big finale.) Inuyasha: All right, boys. It’s time for all of you take your old man down. Now, show me your muscles and I’ll show you mine too. Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, Keita, and Kaito: You got it, Dad. (Masataka and Masaya flex their biceps, while Kenta, Keita,…
This InuAya Family Tree fan art is dedicated to Sage aka deerteeeth and Britta aka BlueShiranui who celebrated their birthdays two days ago, Varvara aka gricort who celebrated her birthday about two weeks ago, and Phanly Jewel aka Endyran who is celebrating her birthday yesterday. So, I hope you all had such magnificent birthday celebrations and I wish you all a lot of love, joy, happiness, beauty, strength, hope, triumph, prosperity, and abundance in your lives as artists and as people. This is also dedicated to all of the InuAya or Inuyasha x Ayame shippers out there. So, sit back, relax, and soak in that InuAya loveliness, awesomeness, and goodness. I will say this once and I will say this again. No matter anyone says, I will never give up my most beloved Inuyasha OTP of all time Inuyasha x Ayame or InuAya, as my love and unquenchable passion for this couple knows no bounds whatsoever. Inuyasha and Ayame even have their progeny to prove how strong of a family they really are, what with Inuyasha being the muscular, handsome, strong, courageous, tough patriarch and Ayame being the brave, gorgeous, determined, awesome matriarch of this wonderful family. As much as I would have loved to put in their basic data for each InuAya family member, I decided to write it here in the description. Keep in mind that I am jotting their ages as of this year, if they ended up celebrating their respective birthdays, instead of going the over-accurate route of saying that he is 35 going on 36 and she is 32 going on 33. With that said, let’s get cracking, ladies and gentlemen. Inuyasha the Strong, Sturdy Patriarch with Muscles of Steel and Ayame the Courageous, Determined, Brave Matriarch with Flawless Combat Prowess Inuyasha: A Strong Father and Ayame’s Loyal, Handsome Husband Name: Inuyasha Age: 36 Birthday: April 1 Ayame: A Brave Mother and Inuyasha’s Faithful, Beautiful Wife Name: Ayame Age: 33 Birthday: February 18 Inuyasha and Ayame have been blissfully married for eighteen years and their relationship as husband and wife continues to flourish ever so beautifully. Moreover, Inuyasha’s muscles, toughness, and super strength are an amazing complement with Ayame’s agility, speed, and grace, thus making them a rather sexy couple all the way through. Not only do they continue to look as amazing as they are together, but they also stay be each others’ side through thick and thin showing abundant amounts of unconditional love, passion, and loyalty. Their combat prowess has even been passed down to their children and everything they do as parents to them is nothing short of a blessing. As parents, Inuyasha always loves to make sure that their children stay active, strong, and physically fit as possible and as a father, he has his own brand of disciplining, especially when he uses his skills as a fighter and his muscles to set his children straight. Ayame makes sure that their children stay as humble, gracious, and upright as they are in triumph and in loss and as a mother, she can be strict, especially when one of her children does something wrong, and nonetheless, she gives really great advice to make them grow not only as warriors but also as individuals. Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s Strong, Tough, and Awesome Offspring Masataka and Masaya: The First Eldest Muscle Twin Sons Names: Masataka and Masaya Ages: 18 Birthday: February 24 Masataka and Masaya bear their father’s super strength, usage of muscles, and overall fighting spirit, thus making them the first set of muscle twins. With that said power comes a great responsibility they must uphold as the eldest brothers, as their younger siblings look up to them so much. Masataka may be cool, calm, and collected and Masaya may be gentle, responsible, and altruistic, but if one were to be so brazen as to upset them, they will unleash absolute Hell on the perpetrator with their super strength, iron claws, and unrelenting fighting spirit with them turning into full yokai. Masataka and Masaya have an extremely close bond as twin brothers and they always know how to solve their problems in a rather civil manner. At times, they even love to compete with each other, as they love to lift weights, wrestle, and practice various martial arts. When all is said and done, Masataka’s and Masaya’s loyalty to each other, their siblings, and their parents cannot be questioned. Kenta and Keita: The Second Eldest Muscle Twin Sons Names: Kenta and Keita Ages: 17 Birthday: March 10 Kenta and Keita are the second muscle twins of Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s fine family. As opposed to Masataka and Masaya who are calmer in demeanor, Kenta is the rowdier one who exudes some macho pride while Keita is rowdy but a little bit more level-headed. Kenta and Keita have an amazingly close brotherly bond with Masataka and Masaya to the point where all four of them are best friends who stick with each other through thick and thin. This even gets to the point where Inuyasha proudly states that Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita are his most favorite sons, especially considering all of the posedowns, wrestling matches complete with full nelsons, sleeper holds, bearhugs, and Boston crabs, weightlifting to ensure that their muscles are in great shape, roaring matches, martial arts matches, boxing matches, and general competitiveness father and sons constantly engage in. Kenta and Keita not only love to compete with each other, but they also love to compete with Masataka and Masaya in a lot of physical activities. Moreover, Masataka’s, Masaya’s, Kenta’s, and Keita’s strong fraternal bond can give the likes of Castor and Pollux a run for their money because they work with each other so effectively, thus combing muscles, combat prowess, and a certain wild animal grace to the…
This piece of Inuyasha x Ayame or InuAya and fan kids fan art is dedicated to Mi-Na-Tsuki, DankMemeBirb360, and Managodess who celebrated their birthdays two days ago. So, I hope you guys had amazing, awesome, wonderful, and grand birthday celebrations. I wish you a lot of love, joy, abundance, and prosperity in your lives as artists and as people. This also dedicated to all of the InuAya shippers out there. So, sit back, relax, and soak in that Inuyasha x Ayame goodness. Here we have, from left to right, 35 going on 36-year-old Inuyasha, 32 going on 33-year-old Ayame, and their two pairs of eldest twin sons. The first eldest twin sons are 17 going on 18-year-olds Masataka and Masaya. The second eldest twins are, of course, our beloved 16 going on 17-year-olds Kenta and Keita. Sure, I would have loved to add in the other younger siblings namely Kaito, Momoko, and Maya, thus making Inuyasha and Ayame have a grand total of seven children, but there was not a lot of space, so I will definitely add them, as I make the InuAya family tree in another submission. We already got to know Kenta and Keita, the second eldest muscle twins, so, let us be acquainted with Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s first eldest muscle twin sons, Masataka and Masaya. Inuyasha and Ayame always knew they were meant for each other, even before they ended up married when he was eighteen and she was fifteen. As they consummated their feelings for each other one night, Ayame discovered that she was pregnant with their pups. Her grandfather saw that Inuyasha was a lot more fit to be Ayame’s husband than Kouga or any other warrior, especially when he saved the Northern Yoro Tribe from a vicious, hulking horned demon by using his brute strength and claws. So, she and Inuyasha ended up being married complete with a great feast and nine months later, Masataka and Masaya were born. Masataka and Masaya were born with a mixture of their parents’ eye colors and with purple jagged stripes on their cheeks much like their father when he turns into a full yokai. Masataka and Masaya are the split images of their father with a few hints of their mother’s determined, focused nature. Much like their younger brothers Kenta and Keita, they have a responsibility to uphold as heirs to the Northern Yoro Tribe. Masataka and Masaya have inherited their father’s brute strength, relentlessly fierce fighting prowess, toughness, and willingness to be stronger warriors ever. Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita would always train their bodies, minds, and spirits in order for them to fight alongside their father, mother, and younger siblings. Every sunrise, Inuyasha would enter Masataka’s and Masaya’s room and greet them with a bellowing roar while beating his chests. As the eldest twins wake up, Inuyasha would flex his muscles, thus having them being greeted by his strong, battle-hardened glory. Masataka and Masaya would approach their father and flex their muscles back at him. A posedown and, eventually, a wrestling match would ensue with the eldest twins giving Inuyasha a great bear hug and vice versa. After that, Inuyasha, Masataka, and Masaya would go to Kenta’s and Keita’s room and greet them with the usual ritual of flexing their gloriously well-toned muscles, having a wrestling/boxing match before and after breakfast, and the culmination of them having a laugh. In terms of distinguishing their personalities, Masataka is the calm, cool, collected brother while Masaya is a bit on the rowdy side but still has enough gentility and sense of responsibility to make him all the more valiant. However, one must be careful never to push their buttons, as Masataka and Masaya can get easily angry, thus turning them into full-fledged yokai with flashing, fierce red eyes, using their brute, musclebound strength, steel-like claws, and mighty fists to crush their enemies, and wrapping everything up with a victory roar that could give any lion or tiger a run for his money. Masataka and Masaya love to go swimming, take quiet walks in the forests, and train by weightlifting, wrestling, boxing, and doing a lot of martial arts that involve punching, kicking, and using their claws. In terms of individual activities, Masataka always loves to gather berries and edible flowers while Masaya loves to hunt for deer and boar. Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita always look up to Inuyasha as their role model and Inuyasha considers all four of them to be his most favorite sons. Moreover, Masataka’s and Masaya’s brotherly relationship with Kenta and Keita is really akin to all four of them being the best of friends because of their wonderfully strong bond as brothers. Due to their strong personalities, they do tend to argue and have the usual competitions of muscles and strength. One has to leave it to Inuyasha who enters with a huge roar gives Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita bear hugs, full nelsons, and/or sleeper holds and Ayame who elicits a stern, commanding presence while cracking her knuckles and snarling for them to stop fighting. At least with Masataka and Masaya, they are the calmer and more rational of these set of twins, as they know how to help Kenta and Keita out in sticky situations. Kaito, Momoko, and Maya are even attached to their older brothers with Kaito enjoying the company of Masataka and Masaya and looking up to them as his role models, as they are not only protective of him but also gracious and playful with him, and Momoko and Maya having a lot of fun with Kenta and Keita in terms of their dashing, charming, funny personalities with the occasional showing off of their muscles and strength to amuse them. Overall, Masataka, Masaya, Kenta, and Keita really do care for each other, their younger siblings,…

So, sit back, relax, and soak in that Inuyasha x Ayame goodness and sexiness. I cannot begin to tell you how long it has been since I last drew my most beloved Inuyasha OTP of all time. I swear it felt like forever. However, after so many months of not having any Inuyasha x Ayame action in my gallery, here they are in their fiercest, toughest, and strongest glory like the warriors that they are. One can tell that they certainly look fabulous in their mid-30’s, what with Inuyasha being 35 going on 36 years old and Ayame being 32 going on 33 years old. I hope you all enjoyed this piece of Inuyasha x Ayame fan art and I will see you in the next submission. Inuyasha and Ayame from Inuyasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.
My love for Inuyasha x Ayame or InuAya will always stay unwavering every single time. There’s so much to love about having these two sexy, powerful, awesome warriors together as an unbreakable and healthy couple. Inuyasha and Ayame from Inuyasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.
Favorite duet from one of my most favorite French operas aside, here are my most beloved Inuyasha OTPs, Inuyasha/Ayame and Ginta/Shunran, having a really romantic moment in a moonlit flower field. I swear, I enjoy shipping the pants off of Inuyasha and Ayame and Ginta and Shunran like there’s no tomorrow, they are truly meant for each other! I will admit that I am not a fan of drawing kissing scenes, given how difficult they can be to illustrate. However, for what this was worth, I have to say that the experience I had doing this was kind of worthwhile especially with my favorite Inuyasha OTPs of all time. Inuyasha, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran from Inuyasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi.
Happy Mother’s Day everybody, especially to all of the moms, aunties, grannies, and awesome female role models out there. In honor of this very special day, here is my gift. A piece of Inuyasha fanart consisting of my OTP for life, Inuyasha and Ayame, along with their offspring. So, here they are from left to right. Inuyasha, aged 35, the Alpha Male of the Northern Yoro Tribe Ayame, aged 32, his dearest and most loving wife Kenta and Keita, aged 16, the eldest twin sons Kaito, aged 15, the younger son and third child Momoko, aged 14, the elder daughter and fourth child Maya, aged 12, the youngest daughter My little story behind this is that Inuyasha has moved on from Kikyo and has grown fed-up with Kagome’s constant nagging and scolding that he finally had the guts to leave her. Meanwhile, Ayame has also grown exasperated with Kouga constantly chasing after Kagome. As the two met one day in the forest complete with a lot of baggage in their systems, Inuyasha and Ayame initially vent out their frustrations towards each other. So much so, that a fistfight occurred between the two. After their bout, Inuyasha and Ayame complimented each others’ strength and combat prowess and have decided to hit it off with her introducing her grandfather to her new beau. Her grandfather was not at all convinced at first and initiated a challenge for Inuyasha to fight against an invading demon. Come the day of the challenge and a huge, hulking, horned demon came roaring. Because of Inuyasha’s unparalleled strength, he was able to incapacitate the demon with his bare hands and claws, thus killing it. The Northern Yoro Tribe immediately welcomed Inuyasha as their own and he won Ayame’s hand in marriage. For that, a magnificent feast was held for the newlyweds. After their marriage, Ayame desired to have children of her own. For that, Inuyasha and Ayame would have nights of passion after every battle they fought. Nine months passed, and Ayame gave birth to twins Kenta and Keita. Moreover, they had children one after the other all thanks to Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s exciting nights of passion. Now with five children, Inuyasha and Ayame could not be any happier. In spite of all the ills and challenges, they know that they have each other as a family. Now that the backstory is out of the way, let’s briefly talk about the children. As the eldest twin children, Kenta and Keita have a responsibility to uphold as the heirs to the Northern Yoro Tribe. They have inherited their father’s brute strength, unwavering courage, and fierceness to the point where Inuyasha considers them his most favorite sons. Kenta and Keita have always looked up to Inuyasha as their role model and they have always aspired to be as strong as him. Growing up the twins have trained their bodies and minds to reach peak condition so that they can be able to fight alongside their father, mother, and siblings in battle. Every sunrise, Inuyasha would greet the twins by going to their bedroom and flexing his muscles, as they wake up to see their father in all of his battle-hardened glory and the twins would wake up, approach their father, and flex back. From there, a wrestling/boxing match would ensue between father and sons before and after breakfast and it would always culminate with Inuyasha, Kenta, and Keita having a laugh. In terms of distinguishing personalities, Kenta is the more large-and-in-charge, outgoing, macho twin while Keita is slightly kinder but still manages to be impulsive yet passionate. Due to their strong personalities, they would end up having skirmishes with each other and it would take the imposing presence of their parents for them to cease and desist. In spite of their skirmishes, they genuinely care for each other and have the strongest bond as twin brothers. Kaito is a gracious, emphatic, and kind-hearted young man. However, one should be careful not to provoke nor taunt him, as he will unleash his fury all thanks to his brute strength, lightning speed, and unrelenting reflexes. While his older brothers, Kenta and Keita, are usually about muscle, Kaito relies more on tact when it comes to being in battle. He inherits both his mother’s eyes and his father’s features, as well as his mother’s highly-strung nature when it comes to getting things done. He loves nature, cares for every creature he sees, and does not want harm to come into any forest, mountain or natural resource. He was taught by both his father and mother the importance of healing and has, therefore, become reliable in knowing which plants and herbs to use on wounds or illnesses. Even though he is close to his father, he is much closer to his mother, as he finds her firm yet nurturing, soothing and kind. He does enjoy his older brothers’ company but he finds his younger sisters, Momoko and Maya, to be more approachable, thus being in touch with his feminine, sensitive side. Momoko is an independent, free-spirited, tough young girl who enjoys sparring and does not let her inhibitions hold her back. She’s extremely close to her oldest twin brothers, even though she does tend to find their machismo rather annoying. Whenever Kenta and Keita playfully annoy her, she would always have Kaito by her side, as he shows a great deal of empathy and good cheer. Even though she does have a slightly rough outer shell, she can be sweet and be a bit of a softie to both of her parents and favorite elder brother, Kaito. Maya is a jovial and flighty young girl who brings light, life, and love to her family. Her sunny attitude certainly makes Maya her mother’s favorite child and she brings a lot of unconditional love to her older siblings and her father. She is very playful to Kenta and Keita to the point where she enjoys…
Hey, everybody! Antoni, here, with another fan fiction “recommendation”, you will see why I put those quotation marks there later in this post. This time, I am taking a look at an Inuyasha fanfic called A Hint of Hope which was written by darling krash and published on January 29, 2005. It’s rated M. It’s in English and the main pairing is Inuyasha and Ayame. Other characters involved are Kouga, Ginta, Hakkaku, and one random character who appears in the end. I will say this once and I will say this again. I am no InuKag fan in the slightest. I find it annoying whenever Inuyasha and Kagome bicker constantly even though they grow closer to each other, and it does not help matters when Kagome uses the “Sit boy!” command although there were times Inuyasha did not deserve to be punished in such a fashion. There are also times that despite being the main female protagonist and showing some strength and independence as a character, Kagome will at times be the designated damsel in distress probably because the plot seems to demand it. Even at thirteen, I always thought that Inuyasha should be better off with another girl aside from Kagome, who can be as strong, tough, and courageous as Inuyasha. Enter Ayame. Even though she is a filler character and was meant to be Kouga’s bride to be, she certainly has a presence to her which makes her all the more endearing and charming as a character. Yes, she only appeared in a total of four episodes, and spoilers I am not even a fan of KogAya, mostly because Kouga seems to have a lot more interest in Kagome, despite the respective couples being married in Inuyasha: The Final Act. When all is said and done, this is all just a matter of personal tastes so InuKag, InuKik, and KogAya fans please put down your torches and pitchforks. When it comes to shipping Inuyasha and Ayame, there are traits about the both of them which I love. Both Inuyasha and Ayame are strong, tough, capable, battle-ready, fiery, and badass characters with a lot of spirited personalities. Because Ayame has been raised by the white wolf yokai tribe, she was taught to fight at such an early age, and for that, she is respected by her tribe, though Ginta and Hakkaku are rather intimidated by her. In terms of Inuyasha, he grew up in such a harsh environment where both humans and demons repudiated him because of his ********** status, due to the fact that he has a human mother and a Daiyokai father. When one puts two and two together, one has characters like Inuyasha and Ayame who have gone through a lot in their lives, faced many a hardship, and even faced loss and heartbreak, Inuyasha with Kikyo and Ayame with Kouga. In spite of the obstacles, these two remain resilient and headstrong with their goals, Ayame in trying to get Kouga to marry her to reunite their tribes and Inuyasha in obtaining the Shikon no Tama or the Shikon jewel, in order to become a full-fledged yokai. Even more so, these fighters are intrepid enough to go headfirst into battling demons and other evil spirits. I love these two so much as characters, that at times I wish they could’ve been the main couple and let Kagome be paired up with someone as thrill-seeking as Kouga or calculating as Sesshoumaru. It is also a shame that Ayame did not get as many appearances in the TV show, as she was a pretty formidable ally, who was criminally underused. With that rambling out of the way, let’s get on to what I thought about the story. Ayame is sitting by a stream pondering about Inuyasha and Kagome liking each other so much. Kouga appears not to return Ayame’s love, but to scold her for interfering with his obsession with Kagome, and he assaults her. In storms, Inuyasha defends Ayame against Kouga, wards him off, and tends to her wounds and her overall loneliness. During Inuyasha’s stay with Ayame, the two of them become closer, a bit more intimate, and their relationship blossoms even further. All the while, Kouga is all the more obsessed in terms of having a bone to pick with Inuyasha, no pun intended. By and large, the story was pretty well-woven with sufficient interest. As always, I want to spoil neither the climax nor the ending. I will say this about the latter. The ending does make me want to draw fanart of how Inuyasha looked like with his new attire when he returns to Ayame. Okay, I know I have a no-spoiler policy when it comes to doing fanfic or general reading recommendations, but I will give myself the benefit of the doubt, the ending had a nice build up, it was nicely satisfying, and it was lovely to have Inuyasha and Ayame be together. The characters who managed to steal the show for me were Inuyasha and Ayame. Inuyasha does manage to keep his tough-guy personality, though it’s backed up with a chivalrous and noble personality without going too over-the-top with it. He makes sure that Ayame gets not only the protection she needs but the love she so wholeheartedly deserves. Speaking of Ayame, she herself manages to be thoroughly enjoyable as a character. She still keeps her loyal, fierce, and strong personality, but it’s also backed up by some vulnerability to make her all the more human and relatable. Kouga took a level in jerkass in this fanfic. Yes, he was rather villainous in his debut episode when he and his wolves ransacked a village, but he immediately had a 180 when he met Kagome at such a bizarre rate. Here, I actually like how darling krash made him a little bit more villainous in terms of his jealousy, animosity, and obsession to best Inuyasha, and he served his purpose well. The other characters like Ginta, Hakkaku, and a random black wolf yokai serve their…
