In this episode of AKPC, Sterling Silver, Master Jarl & myself 1407 Greymalkin discuss the X-Men books of the last couple of weeks(Wolverine #23, New Mutants #27, Marauders #4, Knights of X #4, Immortal X-Men #4, Hellfire Gala #1 and Judgment Day) we go over our thoughts and theories.
The Cerebro Logs
In this review of Judgement Day, we see The Eternals and how petty they are towards Krakoa. The art is on point and the story made me feel a certain way.
In this review of The Hellfire Gala, this over stuffed book bring the pain as The Mutants throw the party of the year while in the middle of controversy of the world discovering their Mutant Ressurrections.
In this review of New Mutants, we are almost at the finish line and this terrible arc that will not be remembered is over. This arc proves that Vita Ayala doesn’t know how to do anything with Magik aside show how much of a victim she is….. Yeah.
In this review of Marauders #4, we finally(It was forever taking) get to the bottom of the mystery of what happened with ‘The First Mutants’ and it explains a lot.
In this review of the prelude to Judgment Day, Emma Frost is the center piece where we get inside her head. We get the aftermath of The Hellfire Gala and how Krakoa has no friends only enemies.
In this review of X-Men Red #4, the intergalactic backlash of last week’s X-Men is felt with a high-profile murder and whether or not it’s ethical for Krakoa to bring them back. So much to unpack. We get three different stories and it’s just a lot to unpack. I love it.http://https://youtu.be/wdWBnFijuZk
In this review of X-Force part 3 of the Cerebrax arc, X-Force gets some major backup after Wolverine is literally bent out of shape and they call in The Omegas! Ben Percy has really changed my opinion with this arc with the scary movie vibes and how it feels more focused and different it is in tone from Wolverine.http://https://youtu.be/qejwxCqXJWg
