Brick is the intrepid, large-and-in-charge, tough, confident, resourceful, street smart, and well-rounded leader of Team Xtreme and is the overall oldest not only among his brothers who are also born the same day and year as him but also among his teammates. He may rule with an iron fist but he is extremely protective of his group. Ergo, any harm that is done to his brothers Butch and Boomer, his close comrade and really good friend Blossom, his wife Buttercup, and/or his best friend and little sister-in-law Bubbles would be enough to trigger him to beat up any perpetrator and put him in his place, thus showing the juxtaposition of Brick being harsh towards his enemies yet tender, supportive, and encouraging towards his comrades.

Brick’s confidence and large-and-in-charge attitude are what make him stand out as Team Xtreme’s courageous leader. These traits have also carried through from kindergarten to grade school to middle school to high school to college to marriage. This even got to the point where he was one of Townsville High’s most well-rounded and popular young men ever, participating in a plethora of athletic, scientific, and social clubs, thus making his reputation at Townsville University absolutely laudable. While Brick has these said traits, they can also make him prone to arrogance, being irate for the littlest of things, overly demanding, highly strung, and overprotective. Luckily for him, he has his teammates and friends to keep his feet on the ground and remind him that he does not have to battle all of these things alone.

Brick’s dynamics with his teammates show a lot of versatility and interest from the epic bromance he has with Butch to the competitiveness he has with Boomer to he and Blossom butting heads in terms of their strong beliefs only to come to an agreement with a good conversation to his sensually romantic intimacy with Buttercup to his big brother protectiveness when he is around Bubbles. When all is said and done, Brick is grateful to have his favorite brother Butch for supporting him as his second-in-command and for being his best friend for life, his other brother Boomer for his jokes and humor and for all of the competitions they have together, Blossom for challenging him to be a better person, for being a really good friend, and an awesome comrade-in-arms akin to a younger sister, Buttercup for unconditionally loving him in spite of his flaws, and Bubbles for her moral support and for being like his little sister from another mother.

Brick’s main element is fire and he uses it whenever he and/or his teammates are in danger. He is a gifted pyrokinesis user all thanks to his signature fire breath and the many abilities he has involving fire. Aside from that, he has super strength, super speed, heaps of endurance, superb combat prowess, and is a strategist. Ergo, he is extremely dependable when he and his comrades are in a fight against all types of villains.

Butch is the wild, rugged, tough, rough, brutish, and fierce muscle of Team Xtreme and is a minute younger than Brick, thus being the second-in-command, a minute older than Boomer, one year older than Blossom and Buttercup, and two years older than Bubbles. On the surface, he is the type of person who is more than willing to rip anyone a new one while exuding his super strength towards anyone who dares mess with him. However, on the inside, he is fiercely protective and loyal to his teammates, thus making sure that they are safe from all harm. Ergo, anyone who is brazen to cause harm to him, his brothers, his wife, his best friend, and his life partner has to be prepared to get his bones broken by courtesy of Butch’s Herculean strength. As the second-in-command, he makes sure that Brick does not go overboard with his pride and he is the bedrock that keeps the team together.

Butch’s juxtaposition of showing rage and disgust towards his enemies and loyalty to his comrades is what makes him very interesting as a person. As a kindergartener, he used to constantly exude how much of a tough guy he was, therefore trying to hide his slightly softer side. It also did not help matters that although Butch worshipped the ground Brick walked on, he could not have the final say. From grade school to middle school, he got more used to being more open with his brothers and his teammates, especially Blossom and Bubbles. From high school to college, he was heavily involved in sports with the occasional ventures into photography and filmmaking, which the latter two helped him be a lot more creative and expressive, though there were times he did get into scraps with anyone who bugged him. All throughout his life, Butch kept his surly personality intact, especially when someone does something cruel or stupid towards him does he tend to go on a rampage. At least, he has the moral support of Brick, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles to bring him down to earth and cool down.

Butch has a tight, close-knit relationship with his teammates. Brick is his most favorite brother and his best friend for life, as he does his best to make sure that Brick’s ego does not get the best of him, thus building a close-knit fraternal relationship between the both of them. Boomer is usually the target of Butch’s signature noogies and the two of them love to have sparring matches with each other to test their strength and combat prowess. Blossom has always been the apple of Butch’s eye and he is extremely grateful for her support, diplomacy, savviness, wisdom, and kindness, thus inspiring him to be a better person and swear eternal loyalty not only to her but also to the team. Buttercup has always been his best frenemy since day one, and even though they butt heads on several occasions, he is, nonetheless, grateful that Buttercup is a great friend and someone who can kick butt alongside him. Finally, Bubbles is that one person who always saw the best in Butch, and for that, he is always willing to protect her from getting hurt. When all is said and done, Butch is extremely grateful to have awesome brothers like Brick and Boomer, a compassionate wife like Blossom, a really good friend like Buttercup, and a supportive life partner like Bubbles.

Butch’s main element is wind, which makes his signature Tornado Punch all the more useful, as it can incapacitate his foes from making any further attacks. Aside from this elemental power, Butch also has his signature forcefields, which always comes in handy he and his teammates find themselves in dire situations. Moreover, as he is the muscle of the group, his Herculean super strength is always dependable and his mere presence would leave any felon weak in the knees because of his peerless usage of animal instinct. For example, if one were to waste his gun bullets on Butch, he would dodge all of them and give the assassin a well-deserved uppercut, hook, or even a neck break and snarl or roar for that fellow to head for the hills. That is just how strong and lethal Butch can be as a fighter. Nonetheless, his teammates are more than happy to have him.

Boomer “The Fleet Athlete” Green

Boomer is the good-humored, hilarious, lovable, fun-loving, optimistic, goofy, charismatic, charming dumb muscle of Team Xtreme and is two minutes younger than Brick, one minute younger than Butch, a year older than Blossom and Buttercup, and two years older than Bubbles. He is the type of person people love to be friends with, as he has a magnetic personality and loves to tell a good joke or two. While he has a goofy, lovable personality with his teammates that makes him all the more infectious, he will get serious, focused, and determined in battle and will do anything and everything to stay close to his teammates and protect them from harm’s way. One should never push Boomer’s buttons, for he will display his Herculean strength to make any opponent head for the hills.

Boomer’s good-humored, simple nature is what makes him really likable as a person, for his heart is always in the right place. As a matter of fact, when he, Brick, and Butch were six years old, Boomer was the first boy to jump at the chance of being adopted by Miss Bellum, thus accepting her as their mother and, eventually, welcoming Mr. Green as their father. He was also the first one to befriend Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles, thus gaining their trust and loyalty. As a kindergartener, he was extremely well-loved by Miss Keane and the other students because of his super strength, super speed, and, most of all, his lovably goofy personality. By the time he was a grade-schooler and middle-schooler, Boomer developed musical talents such as playing the guitar, songwriting and exploring his passion for J-Rock, J-Metal, J-Pop, and Enka. Finally, from high school to college, he was deemed by his teachers and fellow classmates as one of the most talented, athletic, and popular young men ever who girls would love to date and boys would probably express their envy on. In spite of Boomer being popular and well-loved, he did have some problems with his self-esteem, especially when it came to how he handled bullying because of his whole gentle giant persona that not a lot of his peers seemed to understand. Regardless, Boomer is very lucky and grateful to have teammates who can stick by him 24/7 and remind him of who his true friends are.

Speaking of teammates, Brick and Butch are very thankful to have a brother like Boomer and Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles are completely blessed to have someone who is generous, strong, and hilarious as he is. Boomer has a competitive relationship with both Brick and Butch that is based on tough love, as they love to test each others’ strength, combat prowess, toughness, and endurance. Every sparring match or posedown Boomer has with Brick and Butch demonstrates that he is just as strong, capable, and fierce as they are. Blossom has always been that one person who consistently believed in him, thus seeing a lot of strength, courage, hope, and optimism in someone like Boomer, and Boomer would do everything in his power to protect her from harm, to empathize with her when she has her bad days, and to stay as loving towards her until the end of time. Buttercup enjoys Boomer’s company, as he is always the type of person who makes her laugh, and Boomer does his best to make her happy, even though she does not always expect that from him. Finally, Bubbles is more than euphoric to have Boomer in her life, as they share similar interests, can understand each other, and can stay appreciative towards each other when everything else fails.

Boomer is extremely capable of manipulating lightning and forming objects out of raw energy, thus enabling him to incapacitate his foes in one fell swoop. Sure, he has the strength of Heracles, the speed of Hermes, and the morality and appearance of an Apollo, but the undeniable fact that he can make lightning flow from his hands all the way up to his fingertips make him someone never to be underestimated with. This also comes to full effect when he sees someone do something that is a crime against humanity does he become the definition of the sound and fury of nature, being at his full potential to emit huge, copious amounts of lightning and giving any felon the electrocution of his life. All in all, he may be goofy, lovable, and probably one of the charismatic and charming people one will ever meet, but cross swords with him or do something morally reprehensible and he will unleash his primal fury, whether with his massive strength, relentless speed, or even with his lethal lightning abilities.

Blossom is the diplomatic, tactful, cautious, articulate, wise, courageous, fierce, and brilliant brain of Team Xtreme. She can apply her keen sense of intellect to aid her teammates out of any sticky situation and is never afraid to question anything and everything, thus making sure that Brick the leader and Butch the second-in-command do not commit anything that would be classified as foolish. Moreover, Blossom is a very formidable opponent who is a great combination of beauty, brawn, and brain who is no damsel in distress and can hold her own in any battle. Ergo, just because Blossom is a brainy beauty does not mean that she cannot fight like a beast. The slightest provocation towards Blossom would make her foes go down on their knees to beg for her forgiveness in a flash.

Blossom’s intellect, wisdom, and diplomacy have certainly cemented her as one of Team Xtreme’s most valuable members ever, and without her tact, savviness, and focus, the team would end up spiraling into oblivion. Her prodigious intelligence, high-level vernacular, and tactfulness have made her a role model for the ages from kindergarten to grade school to middle school to high school to college to her profession as a member of Townsville’s finest superhero team of all time. During her academic years all the way up to college, Blossom was heavily involved in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities from being the student body president to getting straight A’s on her report card to being a member of the science, languages, literature, politics, history, theater, and music clubs. Throughout her life, Blossom has made herself be the apple of every, single boy’s eyes and the target to some girls’ jealousy, though all these did not matter because she was and will always be the type of person who knew what she wanted in life. However, in spite of this expertly placed veneer of perfection, there were moments where Blossom did express self-doubt, skepticism, anxiety, frustration, pride, and her occasional high-and-mighty attitude due to wanting everything to be perfect, not wanting anyone to see her flaws and expose them, and, at times, feeling like she has to be akin to a wound-up doll 24/7. Luckily for Blossom, she had and will always have her good comrade-in-arms, teammate, and friend Brick, her boyfriend and eventual husband Butch, her life partner Boomer, and her sisters Buttercup and Bubbles to be there for her when she gets too big for her boots or when she starts expressing skepticism.

As mentioned before, Blossom is the brain of Team Xtreme, and without her help and guidance, Team Xtreme would constantly find themselves in a pickle. In turn, Blossom is also grateful to have such supportive teammates who acknowledge, respect, and love her for who she is as a person. In spite of the many times of rubbing their egos, the occasional over-competition, and trying to one-up each other, Blossom is glad to have Brick as a good friend and comrade-in-arms because they can go to each other for advice and they believe each other in terms of their special skills. Butch has always been the person who has admired Blossom for everything that she is and the feeling could not be any more mutual than it is because they can help each other overcome any challenge and do so with style, precision, and healthy synergy. Moreover, Blossom is very thankful to have a strong, tough, rough husband like Butch in her life because he can prove himself to be a loyal and dedicated spouse. Boomer is also really fortunate to have Blossom in his life because of the many times she was able to see something even more in him and, in turn, they learned to show unconditional love, gratitude, and loyalty to each other. Buttercup may be stubborn, foolhardy, and rough around the edges, thus leading to conflicts between her and Blossom. In spite of all that, Buttercup is thankful to have someone like Blossom to be a good frenemy to her because of how unafraid she is to speak her mind and spar with her, and that is saying something. Bubbles always looks up to Blossom because of how elegant, poised, and articulate she is and, for that, Blossom continues to be a supportive older sister to Bubbles.

Blossom’s main element is ice, as she can manipulate this said element and use her signature ice breath in any given situation. Friends and foes alike also dub her various names like “The Ice Princess” and/or “The Snow Queen” not only because of her mastery of these powers but also because of her savviness and the imposing presence Blossom bears every time she is in battle. Any heat-powered attack that comes her way would automatically be rendered useless, as Blossom would effortlessly incapacitate the said attack with her cryokinetic capabilities. Other than that, being the brainy tactician that she is, Blossom can pinpoint her foes’ weak spots and attack them with lethal accuracy, peerless timing, and raw instinct, considering that she knows a good deal about chi, pressure points, and acupuncture and her knowledge about Chinese martial arts.

Buttercup is the stubborn, hot-headed, fierce, fiery, tough, rough, rambunctious, independent, and loud brawler of Team Xtreme. Anyone who would be so brazen to have a go at Buttercup has to be prepared to say his prayer because she can unleash a barrage of punches and kicks at the slightest provocation. Moreover, Buttercup’s peerless skill in various martial arts has established her to be one of the most formidable members of Team Xtreme because she is able to think quickly on her hands and her feet.

Buttercup’s rambunctiousness and peerless athleticism are her trademark traits, as she has made them define her all of her life. From Kindergarten to Grade School to Middle School to High School to College, she has participated in every single sports-related event. Her teammates in basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, karate, and jujitsu have constantly remarked how much of a pro she was to the point where she was MVP in all of these teams during her teenage to young adult years. Jocks wanted to date her, nerdy guys were infatuated with her, cheerleaders found her intimidating yet interesting, and the popular girls ended up being rather jealous of her. Even though Buttercup was and will always be praised for her great athleticism, independence, and toughness, there are times that her temper and her anger get the best of her. Nevertheless, Buttercup is grateful to have her teammates calm her down whenever she gets too flustered or upset.

To this day, Buttercup could not have asked for better comrades than Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Bubbles. Brick has always been the bedrock of Buttercup’s life that she not only respects the ground he walks on as the Team Xtreme leader but also loves him as her most loyal husband. Butch may always butt heads and get into a lot of arguments and fights with Buttercup but she is still so grateful that she has a really good friend to collaborate with when it comes to their butt-kicking antics. Boomer has always found Buttercup cool and awesome to the point of breaking the huge, metaphorical wall of ice that surrounds her and she is more than happy to consider Boomer to be one of her best friends alongside Mitch Mitchelson. Blossom may have the tendency to impose her will on Buttercup but she is nevertheless thankful to have someone she can talk to and have someone be her occasional sparring buddy. Bubbles may have been the target of Buttercup’s snideness and teasing but Buttercup still manages to be protective and loyal to her younger sister.

Buttercup is a geomancer and a telekinesis user, as she is able to manipulate solid objects and the earth around her and use them as her main arsenal. Being the hard-headed and rambunctious brawler of the group, she is not only able to identify herself with the earth because of its sturdiness but also use this element in a way that makes her all the more formidable than she already is. Sure, it may be enough for Buttercup to give any opponent her signature “knuckle sandwich” let alone a massive barrage of punches and kicks, but her skills as a geomancer are not one to be taken lightly at all. She can use the earth to make a barrier and can use her mind to control pebbles and small stones to be used akin to gun bullets. As if that were not enough, she can even manipulate the plants and trees around her to turn them into weapons of destruction against any felon.

Bubbles “The Joy and the Laughter” Utonium-Green

Bubbles is the euphoric, loving, appreciative, jolly, sweet, innocent, adorable pacifist of Team Xtreme as well as being the overall youngest of the team. Her sense of unity, compassion, kindness, good vibes and healthy group dynamics is what makes Team Xtreme the strong group of superheroes they are today. On top of that, Bubbles is also the artist of the group, considering the ideas she would have for the X tower’s interior and exterior designs and her extensive knowledge of building materials. However, just because she is the artistic and euphoric pacifist, does not mean that she cannot open up a can of whoop-ass. If one were to threaten her teammates’ lives or threaten life, in general, that felon would end up being in the mercy of Bubbles’ rage and “hardcore mode”.

Bubbles’ jovial, lovable, jolly personality has made her extremely accessible to anyone who befriends her. Throughout her life in Kindergarten, Grade School, Middle School, High School, and College, Bubbles has made many a close friend, a strong ally, a catty frenemy, and an enemy who somehow ends up becoming a good friend. Because of her trademark positivity, she was deemed as one of the most popular girls in Townsville High and Townsville University. Therefore, boys wanted to date her so much, while some girls wanted to emulate her, while other girls bore a lot of jealousy towards Bubbles. Bubbles may be extremely well-loved by a lot of people, however, she is prone to being overemotional, overexcited, and/or overenthusiastic. At least her teammates can help temper those extreme moments down whenever it happens.

To say that Bubbles is blessed to be a member of Team Xtreme is the understatement of the century. Bubbles is truly grateful and avid to be a Team Xtreme member. Brick was once upon a time one of the objects of Bubbles’ affections because of how protective he was and will always be towards her. When one gets down to the bone, Bubbles sees Brick as the older brother Bubbles would have loved to have in her life growing up considering the many times they were there for each other mission or no mission. Butch is always the type of person who would battle any monster to rescue Bubbles and, for that, she always sees Butch as her dark, brutish warlord knight in shining armor who also has a nice, fluffy, soft internal side. Boomer and Bubbles have the healthiest relationship as a couple and they are very thankful that they can support each other through thick and thin. Blossom is the type of person Bubbles would love to emulate because of her grace and intellect. Finally, Buttercup and Bubbles may get on each others’ nerves but Bubbles is still grateful that Buttercup can acknowledge how strong she can stand on her own.

It is indubitable that Bubbles’ attacks are mostly sound-based, as one should look no further than her thunderclap hands and her supersonic screams. These attacks alone can render any felon deaf. However, Bubbles is also a water manipulator. Since she associates herself with water, she has found herself using this element as one of her main arsenals. One experience was when she turned the water from a nearby fountain into a spear that she threw to a monster, thus astonishing Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Buttercup. Moreover, Bubbles is a polyglot who is essentially the group’s unofficial translator alongside Boomer who helps her out in that task.

Before I move on to their relationships or the main ships I have for these superheroes, I would love to address that in my headcanon, Team Xtreme has a couple of special attacks that would completely incapacitate their foes. One is called the Xtreme Blast, in which Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles stand in line, call out their element names and form something akin to a canon, thus blasting a huge wave of energy that is an amalgamation of their main elements. It goes something like this.

Brick: Xtreme Fire! Go!
Butch: Xtreme Wind! Go!
Boomer: Xtreme Lightning! Go!
Blossom: Xtreme Ice! Go!
Buttercup: Xtreme Earth! Go!
Bubbles: Xtreme Water! Go!
(They form a collective canon while forming their elements in their hands.)
Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles: Xtreme Blast!!!!!
(The power beam consisting of fire, wind, lightning, icicles, earth formations, and water spikes come shooting out of their hands.)

Another special attack that Team Xtreme has is the Xtreme Cannon, in which Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles form a line, align their fists together, and beams of energy relating to their elements flow from their hands. It also goes something like this.

Brick: Blazing Fire!
Butch: Furious Tornado!
Boomer: Lightning Flash!
Blossom: Shivering Blizzard!
Buttercup: Rocking Earthquake!
Bubbles: Raging Rivers!

Finally, I would like to address that they have a special team handshake where Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles have their hands on top of each other, count to six, let go, and cheer. Allow them to demonstrate.

I know I am going to state my favorite Ruff x Puff couples ad nauseam, but they deserve to be mentioned here anyway in short sentences. The specifics will follow when I make the Brickercup, Blossoomer, Butchubbles, Blossutch, and Boomubbles individual timelines.

Brick x Buttercup (Brickercup)
The Hot and Spicy Couple of Townsville who have a lot of spicy moments of intimacy have been happily married for the past eight years. Brick loves how tough and strong Buttercup is and Buttercup loves how much of a proud, strong leader Brick is to the team, as they not only respect each other but love each other unconditionally. They have sixteen children named Brad, Bruce, Bailee, Bea, Brett, Bridget, Baxter, Blaster, Brina, Blaze, Brent, Brooke, Brianna, Bane, Bethany, and Bona. This gets to the point where their eight older kids are in charge of taking out crime from the slum area and their eight younger kids take care of battling monsters.

Boomer x Blossom (Blossoomer)
Though only happily married for one year, Boomer and Blossom aka The Cotton Candy Couple of Townsville have an extremely healthy supportive relationship to the point where Blossom has become a great influence on his life and Boomer has become the bedrock of giving Blossom’s life a lot more sympathy and balance. They have eight children named Bloom, Brittney, Beau, Brian, Becky, Belladonna, Basil, and Bramley who are in charge of wiping out corrupt politicians and corrupt authority figures.

Butch x Bubbles (Butchubbles)
Though only happily married for one year, Butch and Bubbles aka The Toughie Cutie Couple of Townsville have shown such an interesting dynamic when it comes to helping each other in times of strife. Butch has always inspired Bubbles to become a stronger, more resilient fighter, and Bubbles manages to help Butch become more unafraid to express his softer side. They have eight children named Brandon, Buddy, Brea, Betty, Blithe, Bibi, Blaine, and Blair who are in charge of taking care of crimes occurring in the neighborhood and giving any thief, arsonist or marauder the boot.

Butch x Blossom (Blossutch)
The Watermelon Couple of Townsville who have an interesting and healthy synergy in their relationship have been happily married for seven years. Butch is always turned on by Blossom’s brand of brains, beauty, and brawn, thus making her his awesome wife that he is completely blessed to have in his life. Blossom is completely fascinated by Butch’s animalistic athleticism and his overpowering endurance to the point where she can even spot some softer, gentlemanly sides to him that always surprise her. They have eight children named Bernadette, Brendan, Blake, Bradley, Belle, Brenda, Belinda, and Barbara and much like the younger Brickercup cousins, they also take care of battling monsters invading Townsville while protecting the citizens of Townsville from all types of harm.

Boomer x Bubbles (Boomubbles)
The Beautiful in Blue Couple of Townsville who have the healthiest couple dynamic of all time have been happily married for seven years. Boomer finds Bubbles’ compassion, kindness, lovability, and charm attractive to the point where he feels like these qualities have always made her internally and externally beautiful. Bubbles is always enamored with Boomer’s muscles, athleticism, charm, goofy nature, and overall lovability to the point where these traits make Boomer handsome in Bubbles’ eyes. They have eight children named Bailey, Barley, Bonnie, Brittany, Ben, Birdie, Bali, and Belina and they also take care of the monster fighting while also protecting various institutions that house different animals, especially the Townsville Zoo.

By the way, if you are wondering what is with the Blossoomer, Butchubbles, Blossutch, and Boomubbles children in my Team Universe, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Bubbles have joint custody of their children, thus making them quite the blended family.
