So, I hope you guys all had such magnificent, awesome, grand, wonderful, and beautiful birthdays and I wish you a lot of love, joy, abundance, and prosperity in your lives as artists and as people. This is also dedicated to all of the Blossutch shippers out there. So, sit back, relax, enjoy, and soak in that Blossutch awesomeness. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Blosstuch shippers of all ages, this has been something I have been wanting to do for the longest time. I am, of course, referring to a timeline of what I can easily consider to be the greatest color-crack Rowdyruff x Powerpuff pairing of all time, Butch x Blossom or Blossutch. I cannot begin to tell you all how excited I was to make something like this, as it took me a great deal of planning and inspiration to get this done. With that said, let us delve into how Butch and Blossom came to be as a couple from bearing puppy love as children to growing closer together as pre-teens to being in a more established relationship as teenagers to marriage with children as adults. Kindergarten (February 14, 1999) As a six going on seven-year-old boy, Butch had a tough guy reputation to uphold, as he did not want anyone to see his slightly softer side. During his time in Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, five going on six-year-old Blossom would be initially peeved by him considering how much of a ruffian Butch was from pounding Floyd and Lloyd for provoking him and even giving Mitch Mitchelson a wedgie to even sticking with Brick to strike terror to anyone who dares mess with them. Even more so, Butch would have the tendency to annoy her by throwing paper balls at her as a means to get under Blossom’s skin. Blossom sort of knows what is up with this particular tough Ruff because she was savvy enough to tell him to cease and desist with the peeving. It all came to a head one fateful day on Valentine’s Day in 1999, just three months before graduating Kindergarten, that Butch decided to reluctantly pluck up the courage to show how he really felt about Blossom. This was not so easy for him, for deep down he admired Blossom because of her intelligence, poise, and just how she managed to keep herself so pretty regardless if she was annoyed with Butch or if she was proving herself to be a worthy combatant. People may not have known it but Butch was head-over-heels for Blossom even though he knew that his whole tough guy reputation was at stake. So, Butch picked up lavender, a pink daisy, and a tulip from his mother’s, Miss Bellum’s, garden and soldiered on to Pokey Oaks where he would finally prove to Blossom that he is not all that bad. It was a good thing that he took Blossom into a playground corner where no one could see the both of them. Even in spite of that, poor Butch was still so nervous to tell Blossom how much he liked her, as he hesitantly gave her the flowers. It also did not help matters that his face was as red as a tomato knowing that if Blossom dared tell anyone about his admiration for her, he would be history. Blossom, being very intuitive and perceptive, found this deed from Butch rather amusing, as he stammered and eventually shouted, “For….you….Blossom. THEY’RE FOR YOU, BLOSSOM, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I REALLY REALLY LIKE YOU SO MUCH!” Blossom was taken aback by what Butch did and accepted the flowers as her Valentine’s gift. She reciprocated by giving Butch a hug and giving him a peck on the cheek, as she went back to play with Buttercup, Bubbles, Bunny, Robin Snyder, Julie Bean, Mary, Kim, Kristen, and Clara. Butch’s face was still as red as a tomato but at least that peck on the cheek was a nice reminder that Blossom liked him for who he is. Ergo, Butch was essentially a tsundere with a really hard outer shell and a soft center on the inside which he did not want anyone else to see but Blossom, thus making this relationship start off with a crush from Butch’s side and an affirmation of reciprocation on Blossom’s side. Grade School (Summer 2003) A few months before starting the fifth grade, eleven-year-old Butch has gotten a lot more accustomed to expressing himself and being unafraid to show his more sensitive side, especially considering that his loyalty to Team Xtreme continued to be as strong as ever as the group’s muscle and second-in-command. He even decided to give his hair a makeover, so, it was farewell cowlick and hello spiky hair, which he maintained all the way up until now. However, there were times that Butch was sick and tired of feeling like Brick should have the final word in everything they do not only as a superhero team but, most importantly, as brothers and he was sick and tired of following him around like some lapdog instead of being his own person. It is true that Butch was gifted with incredible strength but when it came to controlling and being himself, he had yet to learn a thing or two about that principle. This was also the time that a form of puppy love occurred between him and Blossom, which Brick, Buttercup, Boomer, Bubbles, Mitch, Bunny, Mike, and Robin were extremely supportive of their growing relationship. Greetings, Powerpuff Girls fans, it is your old friend Antoni here with another written entry. This time we are going to take a look at the six-person superhero group that has found a wonderfully special place in my heart, at least where my headcanon is concerned. If you are not aware of this, I have been completely inspired by fanfics and fan art of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls joining forces as one strong superhero team and not just the ones involving shipping. This got to the point where the idea of Team Xtreme came to be, as I was not only inspired by those said fan installments but also the other shows I grew up with like Justice League, X-Men, The Avengers, Power Rangers, and Teen Titans. You can tell that I am a huge sucker of superhero groups that consist of, ideally, six to, at most, seven people because of the interesting and engaging group dynamics these teams have to offer. All of these have carried through my fascination with grouping the Ruffs and Puffs as the superhero team that they are in my headcanon. With all of that out of the way, let us get to know Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles a bit better, as they are Team Xtreme. Getting to Know Team Xtreme Saving Townsville and the world since 1998, we have Team Xtreme, which is the result of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls joining forces after the former group was adopted by Miss Bellum and was raised as her trio of most beloved sons. Adding in Mr. Green as their father also proved to be just as great, as Brick, Butch, and Boomer had and will always have a father to groom them into the fine gentlemen that they are. With their different skills and abilities, Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles have proven themselves to be Townsville’s finest superheroes from their times as kindergarteners all the way up to adulthood. Brick “The Bludgeoner” Green Age: 27 Birthday: March 5, 1992 Position in the group: The Leader Special Power: Pyrokinesis and many other fire-related attacks Status: Married to Buttercup since 2011. He may rule with an iron fist but he is extremely protective of his group. Ergo, any harm that is done to his brothers Butch and Boomer, his close comrade and really good friend Blossom, his wife Buttercup, and/or his best friend and little sister-in-law Bubbles would be enough to trigger him to beat up any perpetrator and put him in his place, thus showing the juxtaposition of Brick being harsh towards his enemies yet tender, supportive, and encouraging towards his comrades. Brick’s confidence and large-and-in-charge attitude are what make him stand out as Team Xtreme’s courageous leader. These traits have also carried through from kindergarten to grade school to middle school to high school to college to marriage. This even got to the point where he was one of Townsville High’s most well-rounded and popular young men ever, participating in a plethora of athletic, scientific, and social clubs, thus making his reputation at Townsville University absolutely laudable. While Brick has these said traits, they can also make him prone to arrogance, being irate for the littlest of things, overly demanding, highly strung, and overprotective. Luckily for him, he has his teammates and friends to keep his feet on the ground and remind him that he does not have to battle all of these things alone. Brick’s dynamics with his teammates show a lot of versatility and interest from the epic bromance he has with Butch to the competitiveness he has with Boomer to he and Blossom butting heads in terms of their strong beliefs only to come to an agreement with a good conversation to his sensually romantic intimacy with Buttercup to his big brother protectiveness when he is around Bubbles. When all is said and done, Brick is grateful to have his favorite brother Butch for supporting him as his second-in-command and for being his best friend for life, his other brother Boomer for his jokes and humor and for all of the competitions they have together, Blossom for challenging him to be a better person, for being a really good friend, and an awesome comrade-in-arms akin to a younger sister, Buttercup for unconditionally loving him in spite of his flaws, and Bubbles for her moral support and for being like his little sister from another mother. Brick’s main element is fire and he uses it whenever he and/or his teammates are in danger. He is a gifted pyrokinesis user all thanks to his signature fire breath and the many abilities he has involving fire. Aside from that, he has super strength, super speed, heaps of endurance, superb combat prowess, and is a strategist. Credit goes to the fabulous Summer aka SummerWhiteOSMP for this particular RRB x PPG Meme. Greetings, fellow RRB x PPG shippers, this is your old pal Antoni. I know some of you might feel tired of me preaching about my least to most favorite RRB x PPG pairings to the heavens, but I figured that this would be fun to expound some of my opinions on the other pairings. Moreover, just by seeing this list, you will realize that there is not one pairing I feel either indifferent to or dislike and I could not find any pairing that fits that category, seeing that I do have adamant sentiments when it comes to certain pairings. So, let’s get cracking by getting the negatives out of the way. The Pairings I absolutely abhor the most RRBcest (Brick x Butch aka Brickutch, Butch x Boomer aka Butchoomer, and Brick x Boomer aka Brickoomer) and PPGcest (Blossom x Buttercup aka Blossercup, Buttercup x Bubbles aka Butterubbles, and Blossom x Bubbles aka Blossubbles) On a general level, I cannot stand any pairing where either Brick, Butch, and Boomer or Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles end up as each others’ lovers, as it is just plain sick and wrong. I know I used to have Brick x Butch or Brickutch as my guilty pleasure pairing, but I suddenly outgrew this pairing, as I strongly decided to keep Brick and Butch as really best friends who stick out for each other through thick and thin and have wonderfully epic moments of bromance. Maybe if they were not brothers I would give this pairing a shot because of their strong chemistry and bond, but as it is, just keep them as bromantic besties and let us call it a day. Do not even get me started on either Butch x Boomer or Brick x Boomer as lovers because there would be no chemistry between Boomer and either of his brothers as lovers. In Butchoomer’s case, I would prefer it if Butch and Boomer were really competitive friends with benefits who love to test their strength and athletic prowess on each other and see who is the stronger brother of the two. In Brickoomer’s case, I would rather keep it as a similar case to Butch’s and Boomer’s competitive relationship, but with Brick being the one to show tough fraternal love to Boomer and be as competitive with him, thus having Boomer show Brick and Butch how much stronger he can be than them and get their respect in the process. All in all, I can definitely say that Brick’s and Butch’s relationship is akin to being really great friends, Butch’s and Boomer’s relationship is within the realms of really competitive friends who have moments of sibling rivalry but end up working together rather well, and Brick’s and Boomer’s relationship is competitive in a tough fraternal love kind of way. Therefore, Boomer can respect Brick and Butch for being the strong, tough brothers that they are and Brick and Butch can respect Boomer for proving to them that he can be as strong as a fighter than them. Now that we have talked about the gentlemen, how about the ladies? Blossom x Buttercup or Blossercup makes me go through a moment of projectile vomiting! I would rather keep these girls as really close yet really competitive frenemies who may get on each others’ nerves but still give a darn about each other because of how effectively they work together. Their relationship is really akin to Cyborg’s and Robin’s relationship from Teen Titans 2003, in which Robin’s and Blossom’s brand of being the straight person manages to complement Cyborg’s and Buttercup’s muscle rather well, thus making them an unstoppable force. Moreover, it says a lot when both Blossom and Buttercup are the very people who do enjoy testing their strength and combat prowess on each other. Buttercup x Bubbles or Butterubbles might as well be the classic case of friends with benefits considering how many scuffles these two have in the show. Bubbles, being the romantic that she is, would easily function as the matchmaker and be of high approval of Buttercup and Brick getting together an awesome couple. Blossom x Bubbles or Blossubbles might as well and should stick to the classic case of Blossom being the only sane woman supporting Bubbles in all of her times of insecurity, fear, and anguish and vice versa. All in all, PPGcest is yet another set of pairings I cannot stand and I would rather keep the sisterly dynamic between Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles as extremely platonic thank you very much. Butch x Buttercup aka Butchercup The Greens as a couple makes me want to throw up! I might as well keep these two as friends who work really well together giving any felon a well-deserved knuckle sandwich. But as a couple? No! Get those two away from each other before something explodes! Moving on. Brick x Blossom aka Blossick No! Do not ever get me started on BlossSICK anymore, as it literally and figuratively makes me sick for overrated, overloved, and over-bloated this particular pairing really is. Moreover, do not get me started on how much their egos tend to consume them. These two deserve better and I am pretty sure they know it! I would rather keep them as comrades-in-arms and call it a day. The Pairing I like Boomer x Buttercup aka Boomercup As a cute, innocent pairing, I have been getting behind this for a long time. However, as a legitimate pairing, I cannot see anything beyond this other than the case of it being an innocent crush on Boomer’s side and a sort of fling on Buttercup’s side. Ever since they were children they have been bringing security, honor, and strength to not only Townsville, thus becoming one of America’s finest superhero teams of all time akin to the Justice League and the Teen Titans, but also the world. Is there anything else one needs to say about this six-person superhero team? It is rather self-explanatory but let us who they are. From left to right, and from eldest to youngest, we have Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles. 26-year-old Brick “The Bludgeoner” Green is the eldest member of Team Xtreme, as well as the leader, thus functioning as the Team Dad. It also helps that he is the eldest son of Mr. Green and Mrs. Bellum-Green, as he and his brothers were taken to be adopted by them, more specifically Mrs. Bellum-Green, and, therefore, make both HIM and Mojo Jojo lose custody of the Rowdyruff Boys. His combination of strength, street-smarts, and book smarts certainly make him a fearless leader. He is commanding and tough towards his foes and loving, loyal, and willing to sacrifice his life for the sake of his teammates. He can be impulsive whenever things go awry and there are times his confidence can tread towards hubris, but he still means well to them and they, in turn, help him in whatever circumstance he is going through. His special power is pyrokinesis and many of his main attacks are fire-based. His hobbies and interests include martial arts, mechanics, weightlifting, basketball, soccer, physics, wrestling, automobiles, specializing in different forms of cuisine, and history. He is happily married to Buttercup and they have ten children named Bea, Blaze, Brent, Brooke, Brianna, Bane, Bethany, Brina, Bona, and Brett. 26-year-old Butch “The Baron of Berserk” Green is the second eldest member of Team Xtreme and is the muscle of the group. Whenever there is a heavy duty task that needs to be done, he accomplishes it in flying colors. While Brick acts as the main big brother of the group, Butch functions as the second big brother, thus making them close not only as brothers, but also as comrades seeing that they are also two days apart. He is always battle-ready, as he uses a combination of brute strength, pure brawn, and raw animal instinct to help him carry through. His teammates always rely on him and Buttercup to kick criminal butt and protect them from all forms of harm. He is extremely aggressive towards his enemies to the point of overdoing his attacks, mostly to dish out what harm they would cause to his teammates. However, with his teammates he can be surprisingly sympathetic especially to Blossom and Bubbles, fun-loving yet extremely competitive to Buttercup, loyal to Brick, and competitive to Boomer all while maintaining his savage side. Aside from creating forcefields, which have become extremely applicable whenever it comes to protecting his teammates from energy-related attacks, he bears the main element of wind, as his deadly Tornado Punch comes in handy when beating up criminals. Butch’s hobbies and interests include weightlifting, bodybuilding, wrestling, martial arts, American football, basketball, soccer, mechanics, physics, monster trucks, riding his motorcycle, and automobiles in general. He is happily married to Blossom with eight children named Azalea, Brendan, Blake, Bradley, Belle, Brenda, Belinda, and Abigail. He even has three children with Bubbles, his life partner, named Brandon, Brea, and Betty. 26-year-old Boomer “The Fleet Athlete” Green is the optimistic athlete of this superhero group. Being a superbly holy matrimony of brute strength, massive endurance, and lightning speed, he is really reliable not only in battle but in many everyday situations. Personality-wise he is an optimist, the occasional funny man, and he is pretty much the sympathetic dumb muscle of the group. Through moments of joy and sorrow, he is always there to comfort his teammates and give them abundant moral support. He is the type of guy whose heart is always in the right place, thus having he and Bubbles gelling the group in its entirety with flying colors. He has a competitive yet tight relationship with Brick and Butch, as evidenced with all of the wrestling, martial arts, weightlifting, and occasional bodybuilding these three brothers do. A lot of his powers are clearly linked to lightning and raw energy, as his special power is creating objects out of raw energy like a baseball bat, shuriken, and a lasso. Feral Team Xtreme has struck again, as we are heading back to the pride lands. Here we have our six favorite superheroes, Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles, being the strong, courageous, and awesome pride of lions that they are. The lions in the forms of Brick, Butch, and Boomer are flexing their muscles and letting out their thunderous roars to give anyone a heaping dose of fighting spirit and courage. The lionesses in the forms of Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles are stretching their nimble legs while emitting such lethal snarls to warn any intruder not to vandalize their territory. As you can also see, they have come home from a hunting trip and decorated their den with bloodstained pawprints from the prey they have caught and devoured. Surely, their sharp claws, even sharper fangs of steel, and fierce glares are enough to make any invader, vandal or prey quiver at their presence. At least they know how to keep themselves clean by taking a swim at a nearby river. Brick, Butch, and Boomer being the Alpha Male lions they are, have the superhuman strength, stamina, and toughness to give any invader a run for his life whenever these three lion kings appear. Their muscles are enough to make Hercules, Basuli, and Tarzan really proud of how these lion men manage to stay strong all the way through. Their massive roars can definitely earn Mufasa’s and Simba’s respect and honor, Kopa’s and Kovu’s friendship and brotherhood, Scar’s willingness to fight them, and Nuka’s envy and fear. Their wrestling and grappling prowess are certainly up to par with Simba’s, Basuli’s, and Tarzan’s fighting skills to the point where they even end up stronger than those jungle warriors. Their lioness mates, Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles, are just as powerful as their husbands. Their super speed, stamina, combat prowess, beauty and symmetry in their moves, as well as their gorgeous countenances are enough to make them shine brilliantly as the queens of the pride they are. Moreover, these lioness women are the backbone of what makes their pride thrive with endurance. Relationship-wise, even though Buttercup solely belongs to Brick and Brick alone, her sisters are polyamorous. Blossom’s main mate is Butch, while Bubbles’ is Boomer. However, the eldest lioness sister and the youngest lioness sister trade spouses on chosen days. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Blossom belongs to Butch and Bubbles belongs to Boomer. So, ladies and gentlemen, sit back, relax, and enjoy. As you all can see, we have a fine and happy Blossoomer family with twenty-six-year-old Boomer being the strong, buff, handsome, lovable dad that he is, seven-year-old Bloom being the jolly leader girl like her mother Blossom, and twenty-five-year-old Blossom being the nurturing, eloquent, courageous, and gorgeous mother that she is. With this recent art trade I have done with my dear friend Kaitlyn aka KatyGorl, my feelings for Blossoomer and for Butchubbles have grown from being cute, innocent pairings bordering on OTPs to fully-fledged OTPs totally standing on par with Blossutch and Boomubbles to the point where I ship all four of them as my OTPs aside from Brickercup. Yeah, I said it. My feelings for Blossoomer are just as strong as those I have for Blossutch and the same thing can be said about Butchubbles and Boomubbles. So, let’s see how Bloom, KatyGorl’s Blossoomer daughter, came to be. There was no doubt that Brick and Buttercup sealed the deal as being a strong item, which is the same thing that happened between Butch and Blossom as well as Boomer and Bubbles. However, there were certain things that were eating at the four of them, especially both Boomer and Blossom. For the longest time, Boomer had a huge crush on Blossom, even though he truly admired Bubbles body and soul. This was mostly because Blossom was extremely helpful in terms of his academics and she was the one who constantly pushed him to excel in everything he accomplished both as an integral member of a superhero team and in his academics to the point where he graduated high school with honors. He admired Blossom not just because of her beauty, but also her courage, strength as an independent young woman, her savviness, her grace, and how she will not take crap from anyone. However, Boomer could not pluck up the courage to tell her due to the fact that Blossom dated Brick, even though their relationship ended up going up in smoke before the eleventh grade, Butch was officially Blossom’s greater equal, and Boomer still had his long-lasting relationship with Bubbles. Blossom, on the other hand, admired Boomer from afar as long as she can remember. Yes, she was Boomer’s tutor in mathematics and the sciences, the very subjects he had difficulty in throughout their years of being in school. Everything about Boomer seemed to click exceptionally, even though he was in a relationship with Bubbles. His determination, lovability, attentiveness, complete athleticism thanks to his peerless combination of super strength and super speed, considerate nature, kindness, willingness to empathize and be true to himself, and charisma are the very qualities that have always made Boomer so admirable in Blossom’s eyes. She was indubitably over Brick and she was in a relationship with Butch, but something needed to be done. Everything came to a head when Boomer and Blossom finally confessed to their respective siblings a year before graduating High School. Boomer went out of his way to tell Butch how much he loved Blossom but was so jealous of both Brick and Butch for having their eyes set on her. Blossom was at first hesitant to tell Bubbles her true feelings for Boomer, for this will damage the Commander and Leader image she has always built up both privately and publically. Bubbles, being the emphatic listener, was calm throughout the whole affair, even when Blossom stated how much she has admired Boomer for everything he is and will always be. She even admitted straight up to Bubbles how utterly jealous she was when she ended up dating him, even after the debacle that went on with Brick. Butch and Bubbles took the revelations well and have firmly decided to switch life partners, which went on before their second year of college since Bubbles also admired Butch for how super strong, tough, and fierce he was and Butch admired Bubbles for how compassionate, patient, and utterly merciful she was. They then consummated their feelings, blissfully unaware of what was going to happen next. The two pairs stayed with their switched significant others which left Brick and Buttercup rather surprised, considering how stable their relationship has been. Even though the plan of switching life partners proved to have worked, there was one thing that was sort of a loophole in their plans. Five months before graduating High School, Blossom found out that she was pregnant with Boomer’s child. A week later, Bubbles also found out she was pregnant with Butch’s child. The plan truly backfired but Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Bubbles knew that they will have to make it through the first few months of college with their heads up, in spite of the fact that Mr. Green, Mrs. Bellum-Green, Professor Utonium, and Mrs. Keane-Utonium were utterly shocked that the four of them would go through this type of scenario while being between the ages of seventeen and nineteen. The parental figures had good faith in their four respective children knowing that they can handle the responsibility. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you all the members of Team Xtreme in different martial arts attire. From left to right, we have the following. Brick- Pankration Butch- Muay Thai Boomer- Kickboxing Blossom- Shaolin Kung Fu Buttercup- Kyokushin Karate Bubbles- Capoeira Moreover, as you can tell from the expressions in their eyes, the pairings are Brickercup (Brick x Buttercup), Blossutch (Butch x Blossom), and Boomubbles (Boomer x Bubbles). So, in turn, I dedicate this Team Xtreme martial arts pic to all of the shippers of Brickercup, Blossutch, and Boomubbles. In my headcanon, Team Xtreme as well as their closest allies and friends Mitch “The Persecutor” Mitchelson, Bunny “The Bouncing Mountain” Utonium-Mitchelson, Harry Pitt, Julie Bean-Pitt, Mike Believe, Robin Snyder-Believe among others practice different types of martial arts including karate, judo, jeet kune do, boxing, taekwondo, Muay Thai, kickboxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts, and jujutsu both Brazilian and Japanese. So when making this picture involving the main Team Xtreme members I had to consider which martial art could complement them in terms of personality, interest, and overall plausibility. For what I got, I definitely enjoyed getting to know the different martial arts and researching about each of them to make them gel these superheroes and to some extent their fighting styles. For Brick, I chose Pankration because this martial art is not only a precursor to mixed martial arts but also has its roots in Ancient Greek history. Since Brick is both street smart and book smart, he would have a great understanding of where Pankration came from as well as the many moves and techniques being used. Thus, he would be able to learn about the history of this Ancient Greek martial art. Moreover, Pankration is considered to be a deadly martial art where it involves combining wrestling and boxing. One can easily imagine Brick not only knowing all the moves by heart but also using it rather effectively in both sparrings and in real-life battles. So, for someone like Brick, strength, smarts, and instinct certainly make him for what he is as a fighter. Butch is an obvious choice for Muay Thai given how warlike, animalistic, and brutal he can be both in his personality and in his fighting style. He is the type of person who fights to live and his life is usually a constant battlefield, where physical and mental strength is an absolute must in order to win. The fact that Muay Thai fighters hit banana trees with their shins in order for them to be strengthened and be rock-hard is actually a phenomenal tidbit that sparked my interest. One can highly doubt that Townsville has any banana trees. So, the Townsville version would have Butch hitting oak trees or any strong tree or any strong material with his shins. Moreover, Butch seems to be a fighter who values close-contact fights, thus applying clinches, elbow strikes, and knee strikes to his opponents. Sure, wrestling could have been a choice for Butch, but I think Muay Thai fits him to a T. In Boomer’s case, I didn’t solely end up with boxing but also kickboxing, given how fast he is with his hands and feet. Boomer seems to be the type of fighter who combines strength and speed and does so in a way in which he can incapacitate his opponents rather effectively. One can easily imagine Boomer delivering different types of punches and kicks from hooks to jabs to uppercuts to roundhouse kicks to crane kicks. Moreover, I can easily imagine him to not just be a very strong fighter who uses muscle but also rapid speed thus making him a force to be reckoned with. Blossom and Shaolin Kung Fu really do go hand-in-hand. On the surface, this has something to do with Blossom’s experience with the Chinese language and even the Chinese culture. So someone who is immersed in Chinese culture as Blossom would also know the two types of Kung Fu namely Shaolin and Wing Chun. Shaolin Kung Fu is definitely up Blossom’s alley because of the monk-like self-discipline, diligence, and warrior’s mindset she bears to live up to this particular style of Kung Fu. Moreover, as a fan of the episode Stuck Up, Up and Away, the way Blossom managed to attack Princess Morbucks is not just elements used in Shaolin Kung Fu but also in Wing Chun Kung Fu, given how close-contact it is. At least, that’s what I presume it to be. Let’s also not forget that scientific studies show that a Shaolin monk’s skull and bones are a lot stronger than those of normal people due to the training they do. So, that principle would definitely apply to Blossom. I went for Kyokushin Karate for Buttercup, as she is someone who applies full-contact attacks on her opponents. Let us also not forget that Kyokushin Karate is very different from Traditional Karate, given that Kyokushin is full-contact but avoids the punching of the face something that Buttercup does to her opponents. Yes, by saying this, Buttercup should have been more fit for MMA, but my headcanon side stated that everyone from Team Xtreme as well as Mitch, Bunny, Harry, and many other of their allies and friends practice MMA. So, with Buttercup, Kyokushin Karate actually ended up being a nice fit for her. Let’s also not forget her experience with the old monk from Makes Zen to Me. One is the fact that Brick’s large-and-in-charge personality can mesh really well with Buttercup’s feisty, mischievous, and snarky attitude, which is something I find really endearing about Brickercup. The other is how someone like Brick can be able to be the roguish charmer that he is and soothe Buttercup’s temper tantrums in his own way by being cool and not giving himself into shouting matches, even though they can occur between these two though it’s just their form of tough love. As fighters, they would definitely complement each other. Brick can teach Buttercup new, intense, and interesting moves while Buttercup would be easily fascinated by Brick’s combat prowess, strength, and the command he has over his movements, thus making him a most admirable fighter in her eyes. Therefore, she would learn a lot from him. Let’s also not forget that when Brick’s ego gets the best of him, Buttercup would always be the one to shrink it down to size by being the direct person that she is and calling him out on his crap. Through everything they do as a couple, there will never, ever be a dull moment, as everything they do will be filled to the brim with excitement, figurative fireworks, and oodles of passion that these two have not only for combat but for looking out for each other with all of their beings. Speaking of combat, they would definitely form the tightest duo especially when it comes to fighting off criminals, thus making them such a great asset. Outside of crime-fighting, they would be doing such fun activities like Dance Dance Revolution, doing sports, and many other physical activities, thus getting a kick out of each other with this electrifying synergy. When it comes to having a family, Brick would be the strong, cool dad and Buttercup would be the tough mom who ensures that her kids are safe and well-disciplined. Blossutch (Butch x Blossom) I cannot begin to describe how utterly fascinating this color crack pairing really is. On the surface, it’s the classic case of the strong bad boy pairing up with the smart bookworm of a good girl. Real life implications may show the consequences of such a relationship like this, but I can defend this pairing on what I find so plausible about it. Butch is essentially this person with insurmountable strength, abundant fighting spirit, lots of determination, but also has the tendency to be easily ticked when one pushes his buttons and does not always have self-control where it is needed. On the other hand, Blossom is an articulate, intelligent, clever, diplomatic, and gorgeous seraph of a young woman who has enough patience and savviness to deal with someone as unpredictable and wild as Butch. What makes them complement each other is that Butch is strength and raw power incarnate while Blossom has strength, tact, and structure wrapped up in one gorgeous package. Once they face each other, they would automatically acknowledge each others’ strengths and weaknesses and they would help each other become not only better fighters but also better overall people. Butch would indubitably fancy the pants off of Blossom’s combat prowess, strength, and impeccable reflexes but he would also call her out on using her head way too much when fighting is about instinct and having this primal urge to spot an opponent’s weakness. Blossom would absolutely acknowledge Butch’s raw animalistic instincts and brute strength thanks to being the muscle in this relationship, which would come in handy whenever she gets injured or ambushed, but she would also call him out on his lack of self-control. This is where meditation is put to great use for both Butch and Blossom, as they would do this and yoga on a ritualistic basis, thus ensuring a healthy synergy and balance to occur in the body, in the mind, and in the soul. Through activities like meditation and yoga, Butch and Blossom would be able to not only gain a further awareness of their surroundings both external and internal, but they would also see another side to each other. Butch would be able to see a Blossom who is warm, sympathetic, nurturing, and kind and not just this uptight, highly-strung person. However, given their expressions here, thus bearing a certain Yandere vibe, one can say that perpetrators better run like bats out of Hell, lest they encounter themselves with death, destruction, and an ultimatum to end all ultimatums. Narrator: The City of Townsville…is under attack by three giant monsters! (Three hulking monsters, one aquamarine, one dark blue, and one violet, are crashing some buildings. Team Xtreme consisting of Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles arrive flying swiftly in the scene.) Narrator: No need to fear for Team Xtreme is here. Brick: Butch, you and Buttercup handle the one in aquamarine. Bubbles, you and Boomer take care of the one in violet. And Bloss. Blossom: Yes, Brick. Brick: Let’s take care of Mr. Midnight Blue. (The escaped prisoners then band together and mercilessly beat up all the members of Team Xtreme, thus giving them bruises, black-eyes, lacerations, broken noses, broken teeth, and more blood coming out from their bodies.) Prisoner 1: Guess you ain’t so tough after all! Prisoner 3: Yeah! (Just as the escaped prisoners are about to leave, ominous chuckling is being heard and it’s coming from Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles.) Narrator: Oh, no. I don’t like the sound of this. Something wicked this way comes and it can’t believe it’s from Team Xtreme. Their faces bear a sadistic and twisted grin, as if though they are harbingers of doom, death, destruction, and despair.) Brick: You know what? You punks should never have done that.
