I know it is old news for me to be gushing on and on about my most beloved OTPs being Blossoomer, Brickercup, Butchubbles, Blossutch, and Boomubbles but these are the pairings that mean the world to me because of the human qualities I can find even though Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles are deemed as Townsville’s finest superheroes. Moreover, these are the OTP ships that I will never take for granted and never let go because of how much inspiration I can be able to gather from Brick’s and Buttercup’s monogamous relationship to the polygamous relationships of Boomer x Blossom, Butch x Bubbles, Butch x Blossom, and Boomer x Bubbles. However, I am not just saying this as someone who ships Blossoomer, Brickercup, Butchubbles, Blossutch, and Boomubbles with such passion, resilience, ambition, and determination but also as someone who has been completely inspired by my very good friends and fellow artists who share my love for these aforementioned pairings. The truth remains that with all of these pairings that I cherish so much, there is always bound to be qualities about them that make me want to root for them to the nth degree. I am sure you can tell from the title that I will be ranking the RRB x PPG pairings from the ones that I like the least to the ones I worship the ground on because I am the type of person who would love to start excising all of that nasty bile and make things go out with a splendid bang. I am sure that a lot of you know which ones I am talking about but nevertheless, it is always fun to express my thoughts on these pairings. Do keep in mind that these are my opinions and you are most welcome to agree and/or disagree. With that said, let us get cracking.
Introduction Greetings, Blossoomer, Blossutch, Butchubbles, and Boomubbles OTP shippers, it is your old pal Antoni here with another written entry. I am very sure that those of you who have tuned in to my DeviantArt gallery will automatically recognize that I am a hardcore shipper of Blossoomer, Blossutch, Butchubbles, and Boomubbles, therefore keeping Brickercup the monogamous RRB x PPG ship in my Team Xtreme headcanon and making Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Bubbles polyamorous and eventually polygamous, to the point where Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles ended up becoming mothers to sixteen children. The only thing that separates Brickercup from Blossoomer, Blossutch, Butchubbles, and Boomubbles is the fact that Brickercup is strictly monogamous because I can see neither Brick nor Buttercup with anyone else, and that the latter four switch spouses from time to time. Therefore, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Bubbles share custody of their children making them the classic case of a blended family. Let us witness how this all came to be one step at a time. How I Solidified Brickercup, Blossutch, and Boomubbles as My RRB x PPG OTPs For Life Like most RRB x PPG shippers, I was a color-coded shipper back when I was quite young being in my early teens, as that was my introduction to the whole phenomenon. However, as I grew into my adult years, I started to realize that Boomubbles was and will always be the color-coded pairing I loved the most. Blossick and Butchercup were starting to lose their flavor before I even knew it to the point where I easily considered Brickercup and Blossutch to be much better alternatives. What made me despise Blossick and Butchercup as couples are not only the monotony, dullness, and blandness found in the color-coded pairings but through re-watching episodes centering on Brick, Butch, Blossom, and Buttercup as well as reading through posts about Karmic Soulmates and the problems that Blossick and Butchercup have as pairings according to other artists and bloggers, I started to completely abandon the Blossick and Butchercup campaign and swiftly headed towards Brickercup and Blossutch territory. It also did not help matters that their overbearing personalities were what made me abhor Blossick and Butchercup with such ferocious intensity. No offense to anyone who continues to ship Blossick and Butchercup as couples but that is just my experience doing the talking. To this day, I could never ever fathom Blossick’s popularity to the point where I would mentally scream every time Blossick appeared when searching for RRB x PPG ships because this couple was extremely overrated and their huge egos, bossy attitudes, and occasional smugness will not have guaranteed them a better and more resolute relationship. As a matter of fact, I managed to see Blossick as one of those pairings that fails so badly because of these two red-clad leaders constantly clashing each other and trying to one-up each other so much that it starts to become repetitive and annoying. The overabundance of Blossick did not even begin to quell my wrath against this particularly over-loved, overrated pairing, as I decided to keep Brick and Blossom as really good friends and comrades-in-arms. As for Butchercup, oh sweet Lord in Heaven, where are the earplugs? Never ever get me started on the loud, stubborn Greens as a couple because they were doomed to fail on the relationship department. All I saw from these two green-clad hotheads were endless aggression, boundless pigheadedness, incessant shouting that would be enough to put nails on a chalkboard to shame, and overcompetitiveness to the point where they could never find any sort of resolution. In short, Butchercup was extremely annoying and my personal solution for these two green hot-heads would be to just platonically ship them as a couple of really great friends who love to kick felons’ butts. Ultimately, I knew that the Reds and the Greens deserved better life partners. It is true that Boomubbles was definitely here to stay because of how their sweetness, lovability, and normality made me want to say yes, yes, and more yes to Boomubbles as my main OTP from the color-coded couples. It was at this point that I also found the best color-clash couple in Brickercup thanks to their spicy intimacy, rambunctiousness, and being a good example of belligerent sexual tension done right and the best color-crack couple in Blossutch thanks to their interesting dynamics, the balance of their personalities, and just how exceptionally well they are able to use their combat strengths to get through any battle. Therefore, the deal was sealed. Brickercup, Blossutch, and Boomubbles were and will always be my main RRB x PPG OTPs for life. Joining the fray of my main OTPs were Mitch x Bunny (Bunnitch) Harry Pitt x Julie Bean (HarJul), and Mr. Green x Miss Bellum (GreenBell), as well as some old favorites like Mike x Robin (Robike), Professor Utonium x Miss Keane (ProfKeane) This got to the point where I made my first set of Blossutch, Brickercup, and Boomubbles children with some help coming from CottonCandyGrl1969 and Misse-the-cat, in which the former drew her Blossutch children to be accepted into my Team Xtreme headcanon and the latter came up with a whole lot more. The overall experience was really fun. However, that did not stop right there. We have come to witness how the greatest color-coded pairing to ever exist came to be from childhood sweethearts to officially boyfriend and girlfriend as teenagers to happily married as young adults to them having a wonderfully happy family. Let us strap in to check out the Boomubbles timeline. Kindergarten (September 29, 1998) Six-year-old Boomer and four-year-old Bubbles started to develop a sense of puppy love for each other. He found her nice, sweet, loving, kind, and sympathetic while she found him cute, strong, generous, hilarious, and really nice. This got to the point where the two of them would do a lot of activities together whether at school or in various play dates. One instance of their blossoming love was when they wrote cards to each other. As they gave each other their heart-shaped cards, a lot of really nice things were said on there. Boomer always liked Bubbles’ drawings, how nice she was, and how sweet she was. Bubbles stated that Boomer was really cute, strong, and super nice. After that, they exchanged hugs. In spite of how young they were, this was the first step to Boomer and Bubbles becoming the star-crossed lovers that they were. What better to start off than being childhood sweethearts. Grade School (Summer 2003) It was in summer vacation before starting the fifth grade, when eleven-year-old Boomer and nine-year-old Bubbles were taking a walk in the forest, where they fully affirmed their relationship to each other. At this rate, this was more than just mere puppy love. Boomer and Bubbles came across an oak tree and given the fact that these two were no strangers to romantic films, they thought it would be a nice idea to inscribe their names on that very tree. With the energy flowing from their fingertips, they inscribed their names to show how much they loved each other. This was an affirmation of their relationship and they were proud and happy that this happened. Middle School (September 3, 2005) Starting the seventh grade was a joy for both thirteen-year-old Boomer and eleven-year-old Bubbles considering the fun activities they got to do together in the arts and music department. Boomer and Bubbles got themselves involved in the glee club, the folk music appreciation club, the jazz club, and the fine arts club. This even got to the point where they asked the principal to perform for the opening assembly, which he consented. Boomer was on the guitar, Bubbles was on the bongos, and they opened with an original song welcoming the new school year, which had the students and teachers dancing on their chairs. Their performance was so great that the teachers thought they would make nice additions to the glee and music appreciation clubs. Their colleagues never regretted their presence ever since. Privately, Boomer and Bubbles would even write cute yet admittedly syrupy love songs to sing to each other and even branch out to doing poetry with music. Henceforth, they found out that they can extend their love for each other through music and poetry. High School (October 3, 2009) Throughout their teen years, Boomer and Bubbles proudly proclaimed themselves to be boyfriend and girlfriend. Eleventh grade was no exception, as seventeen-year-old Boomer and fifteen-year-old Bubbles were at the height of their relationship. Their relationship even proved to be so full of fortitude evidenced in the different clubs they were involved in, mostly focusing on music, art, sports, and languages. Ever since I got myself into KatyGorl’s art trade involving her Blossoomer and Butchubbles children, even though I was and will always be a hardcore Blossutch and Boomubbles shipper, I came to the marvelous conclusion that Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Bubbles end up in a polyamorous relationship. Henceforth, Blossom and Bubbles share husbands and their nights of intimacy go something like this. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Boomer and Blossom have their nights of consummating their feelings, which is the same case for Butch and Bubbles. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, Butch and Blossom have their nights of passion, which is also the same case for Boomer and Bubbles. Then Sunday, all four of them share spouses, which means that Butch gets to make love with both Blossom and Bubbles and Boomer gets to make love with both Blossom and Bubbles. Ergo, the polyamorous relationship involving Butch, Boomer, Blossom, and Bubbles is entirely and legitimately consensual. So, folks, this does make the whole relationship dynamics a lot more interesting than I ever thought of, which really shows my undying loyalty to all of the color-clash RuffPuff couples from Blossoomer to Brickercup to Butchubbles, the best color-crack couple found in Blossutch, and the best color-code couple found in Boomubbles. You are most welcome, dear readers. With that out of the way, let’s go to some couple headcanons. Brick x Buttercup (Brickercup) Brick and Buttercup have been married for eight years and with time they bore sixteen children, thus making them the huge, rambunctious, tough family that they are. Brick is still that large-and-in-charge, determined, roguish gentleman that he is and Buttercup is still that mischievous, outspoken, tough bombshell that she is. At the end of the day, they love each other for it and even in spite of some arguments, which are otherwise minor, they still manage to find themselves back together and have a lot of moments of spicy intimacy. Brick’s strength, determination, roughness, and large-and-in-charge masculinity is certainly a wonderful complement to Buttercup’s rambunctiousness, feistiness, and foolhardiness. Ergo, they could not have asked each other for a better spouse. As parents, Brick always ensures discipline in the household and Buttercup is the parental figure who implements it just as well. Their children look up to Brick because of how strong, tough, and rugged he is, while they look up to Buttercup for how tough, determined, and independent she is. Together, they ensure that their children stay as healthy, vibrant, and strong by doing a lot of physical activities with them. Overall, Brick and Buttercup are completely blessed to have each other in their lives, as they stick to each other like glue. Boomer x Blossom (Blossoomer) and Butch x Blossom (Blossutch) Blossom has been married to Boomer for eight years and has been married to Butch for seven years. Together, she ended up having sixteen children with them, the first eight were with Boomer as the father and the second eight were with Butch as the father, thus taking custody of all of the children she bore with them, at times with Bubbles helping out. Blossom is still that perceptive, cognizant, level-headed beauty, Boomer is still that lovable, adorable, physically strong dumb muscle, and Butch is still that tough, rough, wild, animalistic, badass muscle dude that he is. You all knew this was coming and, for that, I am very excited to express my thoughts on this particular set of RuffPuff couples that I love so much. Introduction Once upon another time, I would have been a straight-up color-clash Rowdyruff x Powerpuff shipper and I would have been proud of it. Additionally, I would have easily considered the color-coded RuffPuff couples, i.e. Boomubbles, Butchercup and especially Blossick, to be the most overrated, over-loved, overpraised, and over-amassed set of pairings ever to the point of clogging the PPG fandom. Ergo, I would have gone out of my way and stated the color-coded pairings are bland, flavorless, dull, and really boring. As for the color-crack ships, I would have simply tolerated them all, called it a day, and that was it. Granted, there is a little bit more interest found in Blossutch, Brickubbles, and Boomercup, and these are the set of couples that do need a lot more love. However, my feelings for the color-crack couples would have been limited to me saying that they are fine and that is all. Don’t get me wrong. I cherish Boomubbles so much because of how naturally Boomer and Bubbles click as a couple. I really love the interesting interactions Blossutch has in terms of Butch’s and Blossom’s differences and how they play off of each other in a fun way. However, at the end of the day, I have to give it to Blossoomer, Brickercup, and Butchubbles aka The Color-Clash RuffPuff Couples for showing much more exciting dynamics, a lot more soul, and so much stability in any relationship. Whether it is Blossoomer’s brand of genuineness, empathy, and sacrifice, Brickercup’s exciting flair, pizzazz, and synergy in spite of the occasional rockiness, and Butchubbles being living proof that one should not judge a book by its cover, it is clear as night and day that the color-clash RuffPuff pairings seem to guarantee a lot more flavor, dimension, feeling, and interest as opposed to the blandness and one-notedness found in the color-coded RuffPuff pairings. So, after years of assessing, rethinking, and keeping my mind, heart, and soul open to new coupling possibilities, I can safely attest that Blossick annoys me for how overrated it is and Butchercup leaves me drained, thus making me fall out of love with these two “pairings” alongside Mitch Mitchelson x Princess Morbucks for being the pairings I used to like but nowadays find them to be godawful. At least, Boomubbles is not as bad as the former two, which is why I can say that this is my OTP of the color-coded category. Moreover, I can even state that while I think Brickubbles and Boomercup are very cute and sweet, it is Blossutch that manages to trump both of them, hence this particular pairing is my OTP of the color-crack category. Finally, even though I love, cherish, and admire Brickercup to the nth degree, Blossoomer has found itself atop the gold medal standard of the color-clash couples and Butchubbles has stood firmly and shoulder-to-shoulder alongside the other two color-clash couples as my OTPs for life. Eventually, we shall find out why this is so. However, before all of that, I would love to call attention to some of my favorite specialists of the color-clash shippings and elaborate what makes me especially drawn to their works. Looking beyond all that, she has also gotten me to be completely invested with Mitch x Bunny or Bunnitch and their brand of sympathy, lovability, and loyalty towards each other, and we are both major Kenshin x Kaoru OTP shippers. Moreover, I consider her to be a kindred spirit and a great friend because we have a love for pairings that are either outside the box or the ones that ring true to the genuine connection of the characters. Ergo, we have our fair share of OTP ships that we will never abandon and that we will stay loyal to regardless of what fanbase it is. I can definitely attest that Brickercup is the greatest color-clash RuffPuff pairing ever with Blossoomer coming marginally close to that title. Oh, do not worry, Blossoomer and Butchubbles, your time will eventually come just one at a time. As to be expected, words cannot describe how much time and effort I have been putting to this particular Brickercup timeline, as I could not have done this without a whole lot of inspiration, planning, and just having fun with this concept. With that said, let us delve into how Brick and Buttercup came to be as a couple from their beginnings as childhood friends to the first hints of puppy love to gaining more closeness as teenagers to marriage to their current status as adults. Let us get cracking. Kindergarten (October 24, 1998) Six-year-old Brick and five-year-old Buttercup effectively clicked as friends given how he was highly impressed with Buttercup’s speed punches to the midsection during their first altercation. It was from that moment that he not only found a great friend but also a soulmate. Unlike Blossom who would end up having arguments with Brick based on their egos and their know-it-all attitudes, Bubbles who may be nice, kind, and sweet but has always seen her as a younger sister from another, and Bunny who also had her sweet moments and was and will always be a younger sister from another, Buttercup had her brand of toughness, endurance, and strength that made her stand out in Brick’s eyes. Brick liked the fact that Buttercup was not like other girls who tried so desperately to be pretty, shallow or vain for a guy and was a strong, determined, fearless, rambunctious, and mischievous young lady who was unafraid to speak her mind. Brick and Buttercup not only had a firm friendship with each other but Butch joined along with them. It also helped matters that Mitch clicked exceptionally with Brick and Butch, seeing that he was Buttercup’s best friend for life. Sure, Butch and Buttercup argued, shouted, and grumbled at each other countless times, but whenever she was around Brick, she did not have those problems with Butch and was definitely not agitated in the slightest. In fact, she kind of admired his whole method of taking charge of his brothers and the overall superhero team as the leader and showing that he is the boss, his insurmountable physical strength, and his roguish brand of charisma. This got to the point where some kids teased their relationship of being a couple, but they eventually stopped after Brick and Buttercup gave them the evil eye. One ritual they did as young children was their so-called tattoo battle one week before going trick or treating. The tattoos they got were not real, but they were made with colored markers and coloring pens. Brick always loved to draw dragons on his arm because he believed that they were powerful and, much like Brick, can breathe fire. Buttercup always associated herself with snakes because some of them had poisonous venom. At times, they would wrap up by giving each other a good arm-wrestling match and, ultimately, they would have a good laugh with each other. They could not ask each other for a better friend. Little did they know, it was only the beginning of a flourishing relationship. Grade School (Summer 2003) Just a few months before starting the fifth grade, eleven-year-old Brick and ten-year-old Buttercup had a nice stroll in the Townsville Park, where their relationship seemed to end up becoming more than just really great friends. Given her stubbornness and her tough girl reputation, Buttercup found it really awkward that she was walking with some boy who she saw as nothing more than a great friend. At times she pondered that she was only kidding herself if she were to state that she was head-over-heels for Brick. She knew that she did not want to be obvious towards him, lest she feels like a fool in front of everyone. Brick, being both street-smart and book smart, understood how difficult it was for Buttercup to constantly hide from her true emotions. Moreover, he was the first one to admit to her that he really liked her. He went out of his way to say that Buttercup was not like any other girl he met and she was unique. She did not have to be a girly-girl or a super genius or even wealthy because she was Buttercup, the girl who could beat up grown-up burglars with her bare hands, the girl who was unafraid to state her opinion, and the girl who was strong enough to stand on her own two feet. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Blosstuch shippers of all ages, this has been something I have been wanting to do for the longest time. I am, of course, referring to a timeline of what I can easily consider to be the greatest color-crack Rowdyruff x Powerpuff pairing of all time, Butch x Blossom or Blossutch. I cannot begin to tell you all how excited I was to make something like this, as it took me a great deal of planning and inspiration to get this done. With that said, let us delve into how Butch and Blossom came to be as a couple from bearing puppy love as children to growing closer together as pre-teens to being in a more established relationship as teenagers to marriage with children as adults. Kindergarten (February 14, 1999) As a six going on seven-year-old boy, Butch had a tough guy reputation to uphold, as he did not want anyone to see his slightly softer side. During his time in Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, five going on six-year-old Blossom would be initially peeved by him considering how much of a ruffian Butch was from pounding Floyd and Lloyd for provoking him and even giving Mitch Mitchelson a wedgie to even sticking with Brick to strike terror to anyone who dares mess with them. Even more so, Butch would have the tendency to annoy her by throwing paper balls at her as a means to get under Blossom’s skin. Blossom sort of knows what is up with this particular tough Ruff because she was savvy enough to tell him to cease and desist with the peeving. It all came to a head one fateful day on Valentine’s Day in 1999, just three months before graduating Kindergarten, that Butch decided to reluctantly pluck up the courage to show how he really felt about Blossom. This was not so easy for him, for deep down he admired Blossom because of her intelligence, poise, and just how she managed to keep herself so pretty regardless if she was annoyed with Butch or if she was proving herself to be a worthy combatant. People may not have known it but Butch was head-over-heels for Blossom even though he knew that his whole tough guy reputation was at stake. So, Butch picked up lavender, a pink daisy, and a tulip from his mother’s, Miss Bellum’s, garden and soldiered on to Pokey Oaks where he would finally prove to Blossom that he is not all that bad. It was a good thing that he took Blossom into a playground corner where no one could see the both of them. Even in spite of that, poor Butch was still so nervous to tell Blossom how much he liked her, as he hesitantly gave her the flowers. It also did not help matters that his face was as red as a tomato knowing that if Blossom dared tell anyone about his admiration for her, he would be history. Blossom, being very intuitive and perceptive, found this deed from Butch rather amusing, as he stammered and eventually shouted, “For….you….Blossom. THEY’RE FOR YOU, BLOSSOM, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I REALLY REALLY LIKE YOU SO MUCH!” Blossom was taken aback by what Butch did and accepted the flowers as her Valentine’s gift. She reciprocated by giving Butch a hug and giving him a peck on the cheek, as she went back to play with Buttercup, Bubbles, Bunny, Robin Snyder, Julie Bean, Mary, Kim, Kristen, and Clara. Butch’s face was still as red as a tomato but at least that peck on the cheek was a nice reminder that Blossom liked him for who he is. Ergo, Butch was essentially a tsundere with a really hard outer shell and a soft center on the inside which he did not want anyone else to see but Blossom, thus making this relationship start off with a crush from Butch’s side and an affirmation of reciprocation on Blossom’s side. Grade School (Summer 2003) A few months before starting the fifth grade, eleven-year-old Butch has gotten a lot more accustomed to expressing himself and being unafraid to show his more sensitive side, especially considering that his loyalty to Team Xtreme continued to be as strong as ever as the group’s muscle and second-in-command. He even decided to give his hair a makeover, so, it was farewell cowlick and hello spiky hair, which he maintained all the way up until now. However, there were times that Butch was sick and tired of feeling like Brick should have the final word in everything they do not only as a superhero team but, most importantly, as brothers and he was sick and tired of following him around like some lapdog instead of being his own person. It is true that Butch was gifted with incredible strength but when it came to controlling and being himself, he had yet to learn a thing or two about that principle. This was also the time that a form of puppy love occurred between him and Blossom, which Brick, Buttercup, Boomer, Bubbles, Mitch, Bunny, Mike, and Robin were extremely supportive of their growing relationship. Greetings, fans of The Powerpuff Girls, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Teen Titans, Antoni here with another written entry. If you saw my post regarding my favorite six-person teams from some of my favorite shows, you would already know that Team Xtreme which is my headcanon name for the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls as a superhero team from “The Powerpuff Girls”, Sector V plus Katie from “Codename: Kids Next Door”, and the Teen Titans from Jump City plus Terra and Titans East plus Sarasim were my top entries. You can tell how much I admired these groups because, as you can tell, I grew up watching The Powerpuff Girls, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Teen Titans seeing that these were and will always be my favorite Cartoon Network shows of all time next to Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter’s Laboratory, Duck Dodgers, and I Am Weasel that also manage to hold a very special place in my heart. Today, I am going to sort out the who’s who in these particular groups, some based on some of the shows’ canon and some based on my headcanons, with their current ages. Get ready to kick some villain butt for the sake of truth, justice, liberty, and, in some cases, the last slice of pizza. Team Xtreme (My Headcanon Name for The Rowdyruff Boys and The Powerpuff Girls as one Superhero Team from “The Powerpuff Girls”) Team Xtreme Members: Brick, the 27-year-old fearless leader who rules with an iron fist, heaps of charisma, and is fiercely protective of his teammates. His special power is his signature fire breath and is a pyrokinesis user. Butch, the 27-year-old brutish muscle who is unafraid to use his Herculean strength to beat up criminals and monsters and help his teammates out in any situation. His special powers are his Tornado Punch and building a forcefield to protect and his teammates. Boomer, the 27-year-old lovable dumb muscle who is the comic relief of the group, loves to tell a good joke and has the strength of Heracles, the combat prowess of Theseus, and the charm of an Apollo. He is a lightning manipulator and can form objects out of raw energy. Blossom, the 26-year-old tech-savvy, articulate, book smart brainy beauty whose wisdom and cool sense of intellect is a great asset to the team. Her special power is her signature ice breath as well as being a cryokinesis user. Buttercup, the 26-year-old rambunctious brawler who is unafraid to let her fists fly and who is any criminal’s worst nightmare. She is a geomancer as well as being a telekinesis user. Bubbles, the 25-year-old sweet, innocent pacifist who ensures that there is unity, good vibes, and great collaboration happening in Team Xtreme. She bears sound-related attacks and is a water manipulator. My love for Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles as one fine superhero team who keeps Townsville safe knows no bounds because of the many character dynamics that can occur. Combining Brick’s large-and-in-charge big brother personality, Butch’s brawny tough guy attitude, Boomer’s lovable dumb muscle funnyman antics, Blossom’s intellect, Buttercup’s fiery attitude, and Bubbles’ innocence as the pacifist is sufficient to show how much strength there is in numbers and being proof positive that with great power comes great positivity, which is the mantra they have learned ever since they were kindergarteners. As adults, they uphold this principle, as it is passed down to their children. Abigail “Numbuh 5” Lincoln-Uno, the 28-year-old cool, calm, collected brain of the group who uses reason to get through anything. Katie “Numbuh 6” Strong-Gilligan, the 27-year-old athletic, gorgeous, well-rounded sixth ranger of the group who is an exceptional combination of beauty, brains, and brawn. Canonically-speaking there have been five members in Sector V and Katie was only an illusion created by Chester to mess with Nigel’s brain. However, since this is my Codename: KND headcanon, Katie is real, alive, and well, hails from Hawaii, and was and will always be the sixth Sector V operative who has been of great use to the team. You are probably wondering why did I not put Lizzie Devine as the sixth operative and instead favored Katie. That is because I cannot stand how shrill, clingy, whiny, and vexatious Lizzie was as a character, especially when she was adamant for having Nigel to herself, and though she had her moments of competence, I highly doubt that she would ever be a reliable KND operative. Getting back to the main six members of Sector V at hand, while all five members show a great deal of interpersonal chemistry and wonderful group dynamics, adding Katie to the mix would prove to be more beneficial since, at least in my headcanon, she is an athletic, intuitive beauty who can fight like a beast with fierceness and precision. Greetings, Powerpuff Girls fans, it is your old friend Antoni here with another written entry. This time we are going to take a look at the six-person superhero group that has found a wonderfully special place in my heart, at least where my headcanon is concerned. If you are not aware of this, I have been completely inspired by fanfics and fan art of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls joining forces as one strong superhero team and not just the ones involving shipping. This got to the point where the idea of Team Xtreme came to be, as I was not only inspired by those said fan installments but also the other shows I grew up with like Justice League, X-Men, The Avengers, Power Rangers, and Teen Titans. You can tell that I am a huge sucker of superhero groups that consist of, ideally, six to, at most, seven people because of the interesting and engaging group dynamics these teams have to offer. All of these have carried through my fascination with grouping the Ruffs and Puffs as the superhero team that they are in my headcanon. With all of that out of the way, let us get to know Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles a bit better, as they are Team Xtreme. Getting to Know Team Xtreme Saving Townsville and the world since 1998, we have Team Xtreme, which is the result of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls joining forces after the former group was adopted by Miss Bellum and was raised as her trio of most beloved sons. Adding in Mr. Green as their father also proved to be just as great, as Brick, Butch, and Boomer had and will always have a father to groom them into the fine gentlemen that they are. With their different skills and abilities, Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles have proven themselves to be Townsville’s finest superheroes from their times as kindergarteners all the way up to adulthood. He may rule with an iron fist but he is extremely protective of his group. Ergo, any harm that is done to his brothers Butch and Boomer, his close comrade and really good friend Blossom, his wife Buttercup, and/or his best friend and little sister-in-law Bubbles would be enough to trigger him to beat up any perpetrator and put him in his place, thus showing the juxtaposition of Brick being harsh towards his enemies yet tender, supportive, and encouraging towards his comrades. Brick’s confidence and large-and-in-charge attitude are what make him stand out as Team Xtreme’s courageous leader. These traits have also carried through from kindergarten to grade school to middle school to high school to college to marriage. This even got to the point where he was one of Townsville High’s most well-rounded and popular young men ever, participating in a plethora of athletic, scientific, and social clubs, thus making his reputation at Townsville University absolutely laudable. While Brick has these said traits, they can also make him prone to arrogance, being irate for the littlest of things, overly demanding, highly strung, and overprotective. Luckily for him, he has his teammates and friends to keep his feet on the ground and remind him that he does not have to battle all of these things alone. Brick’s dynamics with his teammates show a lot of versatility and interest from the epic bromance he has with Butch to the competitiveness he has with Boomer to he and Blossom butting heads in terms of their strong beliefs only to come to an agreement with a good conversation to his sensually romantic intimacy with Buttercup to his big brother protectiveness when he is around Bubbles. When all is said and done, Brick is grateful to have his favorite brother Butch for supporting him as his second-in-command and for being his best friend for life, his other brother Boomer for his jokes and humor and for all of the competitions they have together, Blossom for challenging him to be a better person, for being a really good friend, and an awesome comrade-in-arms akin to a younger sister, Buttercup for unconditionally loving him in spite of his flaws, and Bubbles for her moral support and for being like his little sister from another mother. Brick’s main element is fire and he uses it whenever he and/or his teammates are in danger. He is a gifted pyrokinesis user all thanks to his signature fire breath and the many abilities he has involving fire. Aside from that, he has super strength, super speed, heaps of endurance, superb combat prowess, and is a strategist.
