This was definitely a historical musical play that was quite eye-opening. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well. I would also like to add that the English title of Gad Beck’s autobiography is loosely translated to An Underground Life: Memoirs of a Gay Jew in Nazi Berlin.
Musical
I want to dedicate my rendition of Edelweiss from Richards’ and Hammersteins’ The Sound of Music to the exceptional Christopher Plummer who I really loved and enjoyed as Captain von Trapp, but who also unfortunately passed away a few days ago. This may not be the greatest rendition I have ever done, but the thought counts in showing my appreciation to one of my biggest role models of all time. Rest in peace and power, Mr. Christopher Plummer.
I remember encountering the Trapp Family Story anime series ever since I was a 7-year-old first-grader and re-encountering this particular opening as an adult since it was based on the Do Re Mi musical number from The Sound of Music. I hope you enjoy my rendition of this theme song.
I may be a tenor, but the opening number to Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music will always be ingrained in my mind, heart, and soul, as it was a major part of my childhood which I continue to cherish to this day. I hope you all enjoy my rendition of this classic opening musical number.
A tale of how ephemeral love at first sight and life can be as well as how fate intercedes in the young lives of Guy and Geneviéve. Special acknowledgment has to go to Christi Esterle aka Diva from Musical Hell for making me really invested in this classic French film of the 1960s. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well.
