Hello, everybody. Antoni here. Ever since I have been binge-watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Inuyasha (specifically Episodes 75, 76, 77, 83, 84, 99, and 102), Texhnolyze, Wolf’s Rain, YuYu Hakusho, and many other anime series as well as Power Rangers instalments I could name off the top of my head, I have been thinking what would happen if I combined Power Rangers with my favourite anime series. I would get Inurangers because this is an amalgamation of Inuyasha and Power Rangers, especially when it kicks off with seven of my most favourite Inuyasha characters of all time who go under the group name of The Splendid Seven. Unlike most of the original Power Ranger instalments where there would be a total of five to six members, each of the Inurangers instalments would consist of seven members at the least to a whopping eleven members in total, especially when the seven main Power Rangers colours–red, green, white, black, blue, yellow, and pink–are involved. Therefore, this is the result of what would happen if Inurangers were a union project and based their footage on both Zyuranger and Dairanger yet use their own original footage. What better way to kick this off with the first team-up of 2000’s Mighty Morphin Inurangers. No worries, Zordon fans, Zordon is going to remain as the Inurangers’ commissioner alongside Alpha 5. Seeing that Inuyasha the anime started in 2000 in real time, I figured that the Inurangers franchise would commence the same year as well. As for which network would air this show, instead of Fox Kids, Mighty Morphin Inurangers would end up airing on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. I hope you enjoy the Mighty Morphin Inuranger team-ups from Seasons 1 to 3 as well as the Mighty Morphin Makai Ranger team-up I have in store for you all. Mighty Morphin Inurangers Season 1 (2000–2001) The series that started it all with that iconic theme song only if you replace “Go go Power Rangers” with “Go go Inurangers”. This is also the series that introduced the seven teenage Yokai warriors with attitude consisting of two dog Yokai warrior brothers Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, their three adoptive brothers male panther Yokai warrior Shuran as well male wolf Yokai warriors Hakkaku and Ginta, Sesshoumaru’s sister-in-law and Inuyasha’s wife female wolf Yokai warrior Ayame, and Shuran’s and Hakkaku’s sister-in-law, Ginta’s wife, and Ayame’s younger adoptive sister female panther Yokai warrior Shunran. Instead of Tommy’s tenure as the Green Ranger debuting in Season 1 Episode 17 as well as his tenure as the White Ranger debuting in Season 2 Episode 17, the White Tigerzord and the Green Dragonzord Rangers already coexist in this very season, especially since the very first episode, and last throughout not only MMIR Season 1 but also throughout Seasons 2 and 3. This means there are already seven Power Coins intended for the seven Yokai warriors. The original members are as follows. Inuyasha the Red Tyrannosaurus Inuranger, the bold and powerful 18-year-old leader of the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, and the Inuranger version of Jason Lee Scott who commands the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord. (Japanese Voice Actor: Kappei Yamaguchi/English Voice Actor: Richard Ian Cox). Shuran the Green Dragonzord Inuranger, the mighty and strong 18-year-old second-in-command of the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, and the Inuranger version of Tom Oliver or Tommy Oliver’s tenure as the Green Ranger who commands the Dragonzord (Japanese Voice Actor: Masaya Takatsuka/English Voice Actor: Scott Logie). Sesshoumaru the White Tigerzord Inuranger, the fierce and determined 19-year-old co-leader of the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, and the Inuranger version of Tommy Oliver, especially during his tenure as the White Ranger, who commands the Tigerzord (Japanese Voice Actor: Ken Narita/English Voice Actor: David Kaye). Hakkaku the Black Mastodon Inuranger, the clever and brave 17-year-old funnyman of the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, and the Inuranger version of Zack Taylor who commands the Mastodon Dinozord (Japanese Voice Actor: Daisuke Kishio/English Voice Actor: Alistair Abell). Ginta the Blue Triceratops Inuranger, the patient and wise 17-year-old charmer of the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, and the Inuranger version of Billy Cranston who commands the Triceratops Dinozord (Japanese Voice Actor: Hiroyuki Yoshino/English Voice Actor: Paul Dobson). Ayame the Yellow Sabre-Toothed Tiger Inuranger, the 15-year-old fearless and agile fighter of the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, and the Inuranger version of Trini Kwan who commands the Sabre-Toothed Tiger Dinozord (Japanese Voice Actress: Yumi Kakazu/English Voice Actress: Natalie Walters). Shunran the Pink Pterodactyl Inuranger, the 13-year-old graceful and smart genius gymnast of the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, and Inuranger version of Kimberly Ann Hart who commands the Pterodactyl Dinozord (Japanese Voice Actress: Yuki Masuda/English Voice Actress: Jocelyne Loewen). There would be no doubt that the biggest highlight would be having the Mighty Morphin Inurangers, especially Inuyasha as the Red Ranger, shout out “It’s Morphin’ Time!”, thus leading to the Morphin Time roll calls before they transform into the Inurangers. Imagine hearing Ken Narita, Masaya Takatsuka, Daisuke Kishio, Yuki Masuda, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Yumi Kakazu, and Kappei Yamaguchi on the Japanese track and/or David Kaye, Scott Logie, Alistair Abell, Jocelyne Loewen, Paul Dobson, Natalie Walters, and Richard Ian Cox on the English track emitting the Morphin Time roll calls. Let us also not forget about the Putty fights, the MMIR version of the Power Cannon or the Inu Cannon that combines Inuyasha’s Inu Sword that is more like Tessaiga, Ayame’s Inu Daggers, Ginta’s Inu Lance, Shunran’s Inu Bow, Hakkaku’s Inu Axe, Shuran’s Inu Dragon Dagger, and Sesshoumaru’s Inu Saba Sword that acts more like Tenseiga, and even combining all seven of their Zords to create the Megazord. That would be great nostalgia incarnate combined with all of the kick-butt action and fun. Even more fun would be Princess Kaguya headlining the villains as the Inurangers’ version of Rita Repulsa and Kotatsu being the Inurangers’ version of Finster who creates the Putty Patrol and various monsters that the Inurangers have to fight against. Mighty Morphin Inurangers Season 2 (2001–2002) The original seven Inurangers are still going to be intact. As opposed to what happened to Austin…

Greetings, fans of The Powerpuff Girls, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Teen Titans, Antoni here with another written entry. If you saw my post regarding my favorite six-person teams from some of my favorite shows, you would already know that Team Xtreme which is my headcanon name for the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls as a superhero team from “The Powerpuff Girls”, Sector V plus Katie from “Codename: Kids Next Door”, and the Teen Titans from Jump City plus Terra and Titans East plus Sarasim were my top entries. You can tell how much I admired these groups because, as you can tell, I grew up watching The Powerpuff Girls, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Teen Titans seeing that these were and will always be my favorite Cartoon Network shows of all time next to Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter’s Laboratory, Duck Dodgers, and I Am Weasel that also manage to hold a very special place in my heart. Today, I am going to sort out the who’s who in these particular groups, some based on some of the shows’ canon and some based on my headcanons, with their current ages. Get ready to kick some villain butt for the sake of truth, justice, liberty, and, in some cases, the last slice of pizza. Team Xtreme (My Headcanon Name for The Rowdyruff Boys and The Powerpuff Girls as one Superhero Team from “The Powerpuff Girls”) Team Xtreme Members: Brick, the 27-year-old fearless leader who rules with an iron fist, heaps of charisma, and is fiercely protective of his teammates. His special power is his signature fire breath and is a pyrokinesis user. Butch, the 27-year-old brutish muscle who is unafraid to use his Herculean strength to beat up criminals and monsters and help his teammates out in any situation. His special powers are his Tornado Punch and building a forcefield to protect and his teammates. Boomer, the 27-year-old lovable dumb muscle who is the comic relief of the group, loves to tell a good joke and has the strength of Heracles, the combat prowess of Theseus, and the charm of an Apollo. He is a lightning manipulator and can form objects out of raw energy. Blossom, the 26-year-old tech-savvy, articulate, book smart brainy beauty whose wisdom and cool sense of intellect is a great asset to the team. Her special power is her signature ice breath as well as being a cryokinesis user. Buttercup, the 26-year-old rambunctious brawler who is unafraid to let her fists fly and who is any criminal’s worst nightmare. She is a geomancer as well as being a telekinesis user. Bubbles, the 25-year-old sweet, innocent pacifist who ensures that there is unity, good vibes, and great collaboration happening in Team Xtreme. She bears sound-related attacks and is a water manipulator. My love for Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles as one fine superhero team who keeps Townsville safe knows no bounds because of the many character dynamics that can occur. Combining Brick’s large-and-in-charge big brother personality, Butch’s brawny tough guy attitude, Boomer’s lovable dumb muscle funnyman antics, Blossom’s intellect, Buttercup’s fiery attitude, and Bubbles’ innocence as the pacifist is sufficient to show how much strength there is in numbers and being proof positive that with great power comes great positivity, which is the mantra they have learned ever since they were kindergarteners. As adults, they uphold this principle, as it is passed down to their children. Main Team Xtreme Ships: Brick x Buttercup (Brickercup) Boomer x Blossom (Blossoomer) Butch x Bubbles (Butchubbles) Butch x Blossom (Blossutch) Boomer x Bubbles (Boomubbles) Team Xtreme Next Generation: The Brickercup Children (Brad, Bruce, Bailee, Bea, Brett, Bridget, Baxter, Blaster, Brina, Blaze, Brent, Brooke, Brianna, Bane, Bethany, and Bona) The Blossoomer Children (Bloom, Brittney, Beau, Brian, Becky, Belladonna, Basil, and Bramley) The Butchubbles Children (Brandon, Buddy, Brea, Betty, Blithe, Bibi, Blaine, and Blair) The Blossutch Children (Bernadette, Brendan, Blake, Bradley, Belle, Brenda, Belinda, and Barbara) The Boomubbles Children (Bailey, Barley, Bonnie, Brittany, Ben, Birdie, Bali, and Belina) Sector V (Codename: Kids Next Door) Sector V Members: Nigel “Numbuh 1” Uno, the 28-year-old intellectual, articulate, savvy leader of the group who rules with precision and focus. Hoagie P. “Numbuh 2” Gilligan, the 28-year-old lively, enthusiastic comic relief of the group who loves to crack jokes. Kuki “Numbuh 3” Sanban-Beatles, the 27-year-old lovable, innocent pacifist of the group who loves to ensure unity. Wallabee “Numbuh 4” Beatles, the 28-year-old tough, impulsive, wild muscle of the group who loves to dive head-on into battle. Abigail “Numbuh 5” Lincoln-Uno, the 28-year-old cool, calm, collected brain of the group who uses reason to get through anything. Katie “Numbuh 6” Strong-Gilligan, the 27-year-old athletic, gorgeous, well-rounded sixth ranger of the group who is an exceptional combination of beauty, brains, and brawn. Canonically-speaking there have been five members in Sector V and Katie was only an illusion created by Chester to mess with Nigel’s brain. However, since this is my Codename: KND headcanon, Katie is real, alive, and well, hails from Hawaii, and was and will always be the sixth Sector V operative who has been of great use to the team. You are probably wondering why did I not put Lizzie Devine as the sixth operative and instead favored Katie. That is because I cannot stand how shrill, clingy, whiny, and vexatious Lizzie was as a character, especially when she was adamant for having Nigel to herself, and though she had her moments of competence, I highly doubt that she would ever be a reliable KND operative. Getting back to the main six members of Sector V at hand, while all five members show a great deal of interpersonal chemistry and wonderful group dynamics, adding Katie to the mix would prove to be more beneficial since, at least in my headcanon, she is an athletic, intuitive beauty who can fight like a beast with fierceness and precision. Thus, combining Nigel’s articulate leadership, Hoagie’s lovable goofball personality, Wallabee’s toughness, strength, and occasional foolhardiness, Abby’s…
Greetings, Powerpuff Girls fans, it is your old friend Antoni here with another written entry. This time we are going to take a look at the six-person superhero group that has found a wonderfully special place in my heart, at least where my headcanon is concerned. If you are not aware of this, I have been completely inspired by fanfics and fan art of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls joining forces as one strong superhero team and not just the ones involving shipping. This got to the point where the idea of Team Xtreme came to be, as I was not only inspired by those said fan installments but also the other shows I grew up with like Justice League, X-Men, The Avengers, Power Rangers, and Teen Titans. You can tell that I am a huge sucker of superhero groups that consist of, ideally, six to, at most, seven people because of the interesting and engaging group dynamics these teams have to offer. All of these have carried through my fascination with grouping the Ruffs and Puffs as the superhero team that they are in my headcanon. With all of that out of the way, let us get to know Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles a bit better, as they are Team Xtreme. Getting to Know Team Xtreme Saving Townsville and the world since 1998, we have Team Xtreme, which is the result of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls joining forces after the former group was adopted by Miss Bellum and was raised as her trio of most beloved sons. Adding in Mr. Green as their father also proved to be just as great, as Brick, Butch, and Boomer had and will always have a father to groom them into the fine gentlemen that they are. With their different skills and abilities, Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles have proven themselves to be Townsville’s finest superheroes from their times as kindergarteners all the way up to adulthood. Brick “The Bludgeoner” Green Age: 27 Birthday: March 5, 1992 Position in the group: The Leader Special Power: Pyrokinesis and many other fire-related attacks Status: Married to Buttercup since 2011. Likes: Basketball, Soccer, Football, Rugby, Boxing, Pankration, Muay Thai, Karate, Judo, Jujitsu, Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, Wrestling, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Heavy Metal Music, Rock ‘n Roll, Graphic Novels, Jidaigeki films, Seinen anime, Mystery Shows, Roller Coasters Dislikes: Crime, Corruption, Anyone who hurts him, his teammates and/or his family, Laziness, Lack of Motivation, Cowardice, any creative installment that panders to the lowest common denominator, schmalzy chick flicks Relationships within the Team: Butch Green (brother), Boomer Green (brother), Blossom Utonium-Green (good friend and sister-in-law), Buttercup Utonium-Green (wife), Bubbles Utonium-Green (best friend and sister-in-law) Relationships outside the Team: Mr. Green (father), Mrs. Bellum-Green (mother), Professor Utonium (father-in-law), Mrs. Keane-Utonium (mother-in-law), Bunny Utonium-Mitchelson (sister-in-law), Mitch Mitchelson (best friend and brother-in-law), Mike Believe (best friend), Robin Snyder-Believe (best friend) Brick is the intrepid, large-and-in-charge, tough, confident, resourceful, street smart, and well-rounded leader of Team Xtreme and is the overall oldest not only among his brothers who are also born the same day and year as him but also among his teammates. He may rule with an iron fist but he is extremely protective of his group. Ergo, any harm that is done to his brothers Butch and Boomer, his close comrade and really good friend Blossom, his wife Buttercup, and/or his best friend and little sister-in-law Bubbles would be enough to trigger him to beat up any perpetrator and put him in his place, thus showing the juxtaposition of Brick being harsh towards his enemies yet tender, supportive, and encouraging towards his comrades. Brick’s confidence and large-and-in-charge attitude are what make him stand out as Team Xtreme’s courageous leader. These traits have also carried through from kindergarten to grade school to middle school to high school to college to marriage. This even got to the point where he was one of Townsville High’s most well-rounded and popular young men ever, participating in a plethora of athletic, scientific, and social clubs, thus making his reputation at Townsville University absolutely laudable. While Brick has these said traits, they can also make him prone to arrogance, being irate for the littlest of things, overly demanding, highly strung, and overprotective. Luckily for him, he has his teammates and friends to keep his feet on the ground and remind him that he does not have to battle all of these things alone. Brick’s dynamics with his teammates show a lot of versatility and interest from the epic bromance he has with Butch to the competitiveness he has with Boomer to he and Blossom butting heads in terms of their strong beliefs only to come to an agreement with a good conversation to his sensually romantic intimacy with Buttercup to his big brother protectiveness when he is around Bubbles. When all is said and done, Brick is grateful to have his favorite brother Butch for supporting him as his second-in-command and for being his best friend for life, his other brother Boomer for his jokes and humor and for all of the competitions they have together, Blossom for challenging him to be a better person, for being a really good friend, and an awesome comrade-in-arms akin to a younger sister, Buttercup for unconditionally loving him in spite of his flaws, and Bubbles for her moral support and for being like his little sister from another mother. Brick’s main element is fire and he uses it whenever he and/or his teammates are in danger. He is a gifted pyrokinesis user all thanks to his signature fire breath and the many abilities he has involving fire. Aside from that, he has super strength, super speed, heaps of endurance, superb combat prowess, and is a strategist. Ergo, he is extremely dependable when he and his comrades are in a fight against all types of villains. Butch “The Baron of Berserk” Green Age: 27 Birthday: March 5, 1992 Position in the group: The…
Greetings, Rowdyruff Boys and Powerpuff Girls fans, it is I, your dear friend, Antoni with another written entry. I am sure you can tell from the title that I have been wanting to express my sentiments with this particular question. That is, what if the Powerpuff Girls did not destroy the Rowdyruff Boys with their kisses and instead have Miss Bellum adopt the Rowdyruffs, thus stripping Mojo Jojo of his title as their “guardian”, after their debut episode? One can call it the classic case of kicking Status Quo is God by the loins, thus giving Brick, Butch, and Boomer a more loving, more stable family life without the need for petty vengeance nor animosity. Moreover, the whole convoluted insanity with HIM resurrecting the boys would never have happened, even if I enjoy “The Boys are Back in Town” though I cannot overlook how much of a torture porn episode it can be especially towards the girls and through Miss Bellum’s brand of discipline and tough love, the Rowdyruff Boys would definitely be upstanding young gentlemen to not only the girls but also Townsville in general. I am not just saying this as a shipper of my OTPs Brick x Buttercup, Butch x Blossom, Butch x Bubbles, Boomer x Blossom, and Boomer x Bubbles, but also as someone who continues to be fascinated with superhero teams consisting of more than three people, hence that is why, in my headcanon, the Ruffs and the Puffs joined forces when they were still kindergarteners to form Team Xtreme. So, without further ado, let us commence. A Most Likely Scenario It is true that Miss Bellum held the key to aiding the Powerpuff Girls defeating the Rowdyruff Boys by using their feminine charm. However, knowing how Mojo Jojo indoctrinated destruction, cruelty, and violence into them and used the Rowdyruff Boy as his own guns to wreak his petty vengeance on the Powerpuff Girls, Miss Bellum would brave all odds, hop on a helicopter all the way up to Mojo’s domain and confront him directly. Mojo Jojo, once noticing Miss Bellum is there, would order the boys to attack. Knowing Miss Bellum, she would tell them to cease and desist by signaling them to stop and the boys obey. What would follow is, Miss Bellum, looking Mojo Jojo directly into the eyes and letting him spill the beans of how he made the boys to exact his vengeance on the girls. Comprehending this, she would even tell Mojo that he is not truly fit to be a parent to his “creations” and, therefore, does the unthinkable. She decides to take Brick, Butch, and Boomer away from Mojo Jojo with the boys finally getting the chance to beat him up for good and for all after receiving her permission to do so. She would even have the police involved and take Mojo off to prison once again. Brick, Butch, and Boomer would initially feel doubtful when it comes to Miss Bellum, but ultimately it would be Boomer who would show the first signs of feeling attached to their new mother with Butch and Brick eventually swallowing their pride and following suit. Moreover, now that she understands that the boys do not have real Chemical X in their systems, she would even send them to Professor Utonium to have Brick, Butch, and Boomer vaccinated with the real deal. After getting them all sorted out, Miss Bellum would even go out of her way to let the boys apologize to the girls and admit everything they have done. Eventually, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles forgive Brick, Butch, and Boomer for their misdeeds, start becoming great friends and allies, and the boys would have a more stable, familial home by courtesy of Miss Sara Bellum. More Character Dynamics If the show were to go on with the Rowdyruff Boys being reformed through Miss Bellum’s influence and sense of maternal duty to her sons, Brick, Butch, and Boomer would definitely be more fully developed characters. Sure, their return found in “The Boys are Back in Town” gave them slightly more developed characters, but that is because HIM brought them back from the dead to cause more destruction and, of course, use them as his weapons in the hopes that the Powerpuff Girls are defeated. I would not mind keeping Brick’s hot-headed nature, Butch’s bouts of insanity, and Boomer’s dim-witted nature, but where my headcanon is concerned, Miss Bellum is able to find the best quality in each of her sons with Brick being brave, determined, and someone with a large-and-in-charge personality, Butch being strong, tough, equally as determined as Brick, and the overall muscle of the household and Boomer being kind, good-humored, sensitive, helpful when necessary, and just as physically strong as both Brick and Butch. In the Bellum household, one would also see just how the Rowdyruff Boys get along with Miss Bellum as their mother. I could not only imagine Miss Bellum being the stern, firm, loving, intelligent, protective disciplinarian she is but also how the dynamics between Brick, Butch, and Boomer would function. In my Team Xtreme headcanon, Brick is both book-smart and street-smart, responsible, has a large-and-in-charge and determined personality, and has a tendency to be impulsive. Butch is impulsive, tough, rough but tends to have a softer inner side to him that he does not always want to show. Boomer is the most innocent of his brothers and his heart is always in the right place. Butch admires Brick as a brother, even though he does tend to be envious at him because of how much of a well-rounded person he is. Boomer would not only look up to Brick and Butch as his brothers but he also has the tendency to get himself into their double noogies with him. There may be crazy happening within this family, but it would be great to see how they learn from each other and grow as people. In my Team Xtreme headcanon, Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and…
