Greetings, all ye fans Powerpuff Girls and Codename: Kids Next Door, it is I your old pal Antoni here with another written entry. As someone who has been growing up with Cartoon Network ever since I was four or five years old, it should come off as no surprise that The Powerpuff Girls and Codename: Kids Next Door are my personal favorite Cartoon Network superhero comedy action shows starring unconventional casts of characters. In The Powerpuff Girls’ case, it has three five-year-old superpowered young ladies who can kick lots of butts while still looking cute and lovely. In Codename: Kids Next Door, it has five tech-savvy pre-teens who use their skills in combat, artillery, and teamwork to combat adult tyranny while having a lot of fun doing so. From seven years old up until now, these were and will always be my staple Cartoon Network shows next to Teen Titans 2003, Dexter’s Laboratory, and Samurai Jack to look forward to not only for the sake of kicking back, relaxing, and enjoying each action-packed and fun moment that goes on with these shows but I can also marvel at how tight the writing was, how the voice actors embody each of their most iconic roles, and how these shows manage to balance action, comedy, and drama so effectively all thanks to the brilliant minds found respectively in Craig McCracken and Tom Warburton. Now, you are also wondering, what do these two shows have in common for me? If you have been reading my posts based on my favorite six-person teams in animation, especially when I gave a lot of special mention to the six-person superhero teams, you will automatically realize that I absolutely adore the teamed-up Rowdyruff Boys and Powerpuff Girls and Sector V plus Katie the Island Girl. Sure, these are mostly headcanon-based but I always figured that when it comes to superhero teams, six is the lucky number that shows stability, great interpersonal dynamics, and mad teamwork skills that could give even the Justice League, the Avengers, and the X-Men a run for their money. Besides, having a ragtag bunch of kids below the age of 12 saving the world from evil shows that children can be very resilient and can put their mind into anything they want to accomplish. Moreover, thanks to such awesome artists such as Bleedman, PurfectPrincessGirl, and PrincessCallyie, just to name a few, I have pretty much gotten myself into the hype that is multiple-universe building in which different characters from different fandoms co-exist in one universe. This has also gotten me to beg this particular question. What if all of the main members of Team Xtreme and Sector V co-existed in one universe? The concept might be ludicrous to some people given how each show is formatted and written. However, with a lot of imagination, creativity, and curiosity, it could be fun and awesome to have different characters finding out what makes them similar and different and just exist in a sort of weird yet wonderful harmony. As you can tell from the title above, I am mainly taking a look at the main six members of Team Xtreme, Sector V, and their main allies. What will follow is a mini-profile for each team in terms of how they were in the show’s run at the time until this very day and even, my most favorite, my most beloved OTPs from each team. Additionally, I have also updated some of the birthdays I have for each team member as well as their ages, and do not fret, for the next written entry will be saved for my other favorite thing to write about, which is the list of fan-children that I and some of my good friends have come up with. With that said, let us get cracking, ladies and gentlemen. Team Xtreme (Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles) Saving Townsville and the world since 1998, we have Team Xtreme which is a result of The Rowdyruff Boys and The Powerpuff Girls joining forces after the boys not only befriended the girls and realizing that they can work magnificently together as a superhero team but also the fact that Brick, Butch, and Boomer lovingly accepted Miss Sara Bellum as their own mother and eventually having Mr. Green join the family fray as their most beloved father. Ever since then, Brick, Butch, and Boomer have grown up to be the upstanding, charismatic, strong, handsome gentlemen that they are today and Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles have grown up to be the dynamic, brilliant, gorgeous, and athletic ladies that they are. They are not going to retire the superhero business anytime soon, seeing that it is their job and their livelihood, and their children are also doing fine of a job ensuring that they use their powers for good, therefore keeping Townsville and the world safe from all forms of harm. Moreover, the children are having the torches being passed on to them, thus making sure that their parents’ exciting legacy will live on in Townsville’s hearts. This superhero team has an exceptional ensemble with Brick’s proud and confident leadership, Butch’s brute strength and fierceness, Boomer’s complete athleticism combining super strength, unwavering endurance, lightning speed, and a great sense of humor, Blossom’s overall savviness, Buttercup’s unwavering endurance, and Bubbles’ peerless physical flexibility and pacifist nature gelling this team together until the end of time. For those of you who have read my previous written entries, most notably the ones where I talk about my reasons for loving InuAya, BakRosé, HakKar, GinShun, KiiWin, and IpMay as my six most favorite anime OTPs of all time and where I talk about my AU if I had Conan and Zula be the fathers of the gentlemen and Arkon and Ka-Zar be the fathers to the ladies, you would already know that I am a loyal shipper of Inuyasha x Ayame, Baki x Rosé, Hakkaku x Karan, Ginta x Shunran, Kiibo x Winry, and Ippo x Maya. Moreover, we have Inuyasha, Baki, Hakkaku, Ginta, Kiibo, and Ippo being the strong, handsome husbands that they are complete with well-shaped muscles of steel and their most beloved wives Ayame, Rosé, Karan, Shunran, Winry, and Maya being just as strong as their handsome, sturdy husbands. Let us briefly talk about their relationships, shall we? Individual headcanons for these couples will eventually follow in individual submissions. Inuyasha x Ayame Inuyasha and Ayame are the Northern Yoro Tribe’s strongest warriors and they lead their tribe with a lot of fortitude, courage, and power. Combining Inuyasha’s super strength, especially when it comes to grappling, wrestling, and having posedowns and beatdowns with his foes, with Ayame’s amazing combat prowess, especially when it comes to giving her foes a major beatdown, is certainly a great match made in Nirvana. Behind closed doors, Inuyasha and Ayame would have a lot of exciting moments of intimacy, what with Inuyasha giving Ayame so much pleasure and Ayame soothing Inuyasha from all of the madness in battle. Inuyasha loves Ayame because of her resilience, determination, and dedication to her duty as his wife and Ayame loves Inuyasha because of how super strong he is, how gentle he is around her, and how loyal and loving he is as her husband. It also helps that their progeny prove themselves to be just as strong, tough, and durable as their parents. When all is said and done, Inuyasha and Ayame have a lot of unconditional love for each other thanks to their wonderful chemistry and strong bond. Baki Hanma x Rosé Thomas-Hanma Baki and Rosé are the types of people who love to keep fit and strong in everything they do. Baki’s great involvement in martial arts and bodybuilding and Rosé’s involvement in health and fitness certainly make them a couple no one should ever mess with. In spite of his rough edge, Baki is akin to a huge, soft teddy bear when he is around Rosé because she sees the best in him. Rosé loves how loyal Baki is to her and Baki loves how sweet, kind, and patient Rosé is with him. Therefore, this stoic, brawny gentleman with a heart of gold and this sweet, loving lady with the patience of a saint have a healthy relationship, which is reflected in their wonderful household. Their children are just as tough, strong, and loving as their parents and the dynamics they have with their parents show how much unconditional love there is within their happy home. Hakkaku x Karan Hakkaku and Karan are the Northern Yoro Tribe’s most flexible couple and they show it in spades. Hakkaku is the goofy, lovable strongman to Karan’s focused, determined mistress of stealth and when they are together in battle, their enemies would learn a thing or two about never underestimating their opponents. Being the dynamic couple that they are, Hakkaku and Karan take turns in wearing the pants in this relationship and they show a lot of unconditional tolerance, love, respect, and healthy synergy towards each other. They could even help each other in times of strife. Whenever Hakkaku has his doubts and anxieties, Karan would make him down to earth and assure him that he is strong enough to overcome anything. Whenever Karan has her disappointments, Hakkaku would assure her that it is not the end of the world. Moreover, their children would inherit their quirks and be just as resilient as Hakkaku and Karan combined. Ginta x Shunran Ginta and Shunran are the Northern Yoro Tribe’s most lovable and adorable couple ever, as their love for each other knows no bounds. I hope you all enjoy this piece of work I have for you. Man, this has been in the making for the longest time. I have been playing with the idea of putting in the legendary, demonic villain Aku from Samurai Jack, which is pretty much the best Cartoon Network show I have ever seen in my entire life, in my Team Xtreme headcanon. With this character, I also thought it would be fun to add an element of a dark prophecy looming over three of my most favorite characters Butch, Boomer, and Blossom, which in turn is my OT3 for life. When mixing these elements together, something extraordinary popped up from my brain, especially with all of the times I have rewatched and rewatched my most favorite Teen Titans 2003 episodes featuring Slade and eventually Trigon. Those episodes were “Apprentice Parts 1 and 2” with Robin being Slade’s apprentice, “Aftershock Parts 1 and 2” with Terra being Slade’s apprentice, and “Birthmark” and “The End Parts 1, 2, and 3” with Slade having some connection to Raven’s prophecy and featuring the main big bad Trigon. I am very sure you can see where I am going with this. And yes, it is really enjoyable seeing Butch, Boomer, and Blossom go to the dark, diabolical, demonic side. It makes the plot focused on them thicken. Aku is essentially an amalgamation of Slade and Trigon with a hint of Brother Blood, in my Team Xtreme Headcanon. Aku is not as cool and collected as Slade, but he can surely make one crap his pants off when dealing with him. You will not find me shipping Aku with Blossom romantically. Oh, no. He serves as a sort of dark mentor and grandfather figure to Blossom. He has done his fair share of creeping up to her room and giving her ominous symbols nearly placing a curse on her, thus threatening her with her comrades’ lives if she does not join him in the dark side. For Team Xtreme’s Team Mom that is surely a scary thought. I mean having to be in such a bargain with the devil himself just for the sake of her dear comrades could be a most harrowing choice. It also does not help matters that her darlings for life Butch and Boomer are dragged into this, seeing that they love Blossom with every bit of their being. At least for Aku, the more the merrier. So, he gets to appoint The Baron of Berserk, The Fleet Athlete, and The Commander and the Leader to be his apprentices in order to spare the likes of Brick, Buttercup, and Bubbles being slaughtered by the Shogun of Sorrow. Though, he also wants their blood as well when all is said and done. Now, when it comes to Butch, Boomer, and Blossom, I have this to say about them in this scenario. Each of these three has a bit of Robin, Raven, and Terra in their systems and in their beings. Think about…
I have always wanted a team-up like this to happen. Now, dear viewers, what would happen if you combine Enok’s big, proud, and strong personality with Rahan’s sensible, pragmatic, only sane man nature with Brick’s large-and-in-charge, tough guy attitude with Butch’s brute strength as the muscle? You get an international crossover of a BroT4 which is rather epic and awesome in scale thanks to these four strong, awesome dudes. The way I see it these four studs of MMA fighters could definitely be on par with the Teenage Mutant Turtles with Enok being the proud, focused, and mighty leader of a big brother, Rahan being the brains and the only sane man of the group, Brick being the hothead who constantly gets into scuffles with big bro Enok, and Butch being the muscle who does get into scuffles with his big bros Enok, Rahan, and Brick. In my alternate universe/headcanon, specifically for Enok and Rahan, they are brothers and sons of a strict, no-nonsense single dad, Mogo whose real name in this AU is Maurice. Moreover, they are French-Canadians from Quebec descended from an ancient Native Canadian tribe and Mogo wants to make sure that their heritage is well-preserved. Mogo, being the big, strict, manly patriarch single dad of his house, always has to make sure that his two sons are well-disciplined, well-rounded, have excellent grades seeing that Enok graduated from Montreal’s McGill University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in History and Political Science and Rahan also graduated from that same university but with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Philosophy and Anthropology, and physically fit, seeing that both Enok and Rahan are also professional MMA fighters, all the way through. Plus, he always has to make sure that Enok acts as the responsible older brother to Rahan. This is due to the fact that Mogo was once upon a time a bodybuilder, a weightlifter, a heavyweight champion in boxing, jiujitsu, professional wrestling, kickboxing, and Pankration, and even served in the Canadian army. Six years after Rahan’s birth, Mogo’s wife was diagnosed with leukemia but sadly lost the battle. He promised her that he will take care of the family with all of his heart, mind, and soul and to this day he lives up to this promise. Aside from being a father to his two sons, Mogo also owns his own mixed martial arts training studio where he is the main instructor and it is a family business. Having a father like Mogo is surely something both Enok and Rahan are forever grateful for, as he is the one who trained them tirelessly, ensured a safe home, and made sure that both of them are on the right track with their lives. As Enok and Rahan came of age, every waking morning before school was spent on sparring matches with their father and with each other and after school, both Enok and Rahan would not only do their homework but also engage in evening sessions with their father before going to bed at 9 PM. Weekends with Mogo, Enok, and Rahan were spent on meditation, more combat training in mixed martial arts, jiujitsu, wrestling, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and weightlifting, walks in the forest, and male bonding in general. This tradition continued even when Enok was dating Tetya and Rahan was dating Noama to the point where both of their girlfriends and eventual wives were rather blessed to have someone as stern like Mogo to put Enok and Rahan in the right direction. Brick and Butch came into Enok’s and Rahan’s lives when they were exchange students in Quebec back when Enok was eighteen, Rahan was seventeen, and Brick and Butch were sixteen. Mogo welcomed Brick and Butch with open arms and made sure that they were not going to be bad influences on his two sons. Initially, things were not easy with the four boys, as Enok constantly got annoyed by Brick’s abrasive temper and always insisting to do things his way and even Butch’s violent streak, Rahan was not a fan of Brick’s and Butch’s incessant bouts of anger, Brick was peeved by Enok’s bossiness and quick judgment as well as Rahan’s nagging, and Butch was also not a fan of Enok shoving it in their faces that he is the eldest and that he is in charge and Rahan constantly headlocking him to calm down. This was even a headache for Mogo, as there were times he almost lost his voice bellowing at all four of them to pipe down, with the solution that Enok, Rahan, Brick, and Butch will sleep in one room together in order for them to cooperate more and cease the fighting. Their four-way competitiveness was present in school, as Enok and Brick had heated debates in political science classes, Rahan and Butch had heated soccer matches in PE, Enok and Butch were always faced against each other in wrestling, and Rahan and Brick were constantly trying to one-up each other in History, English, and Physics. At home, Brick and Butch always managed to let out some steam by having beatdowns with Enok and Rahan monitored by Mogo, thus constantly making sure that the four of them were not trying to kill each other whilst sparring. After some weeks, the initially heated rivalry between Enok, Rahan, Brick, and Butch subsided and they became really good friends. Enok and Rahan were also happy to know that Brick and Butch are part of a six-person superhero team known as Team Xtreme and they found it fascinating that their new friends were also Townsville’s superheroes. It all came to a head when an assault took place between a thug and a man walking to work and Enok, Rahan, Brick, and Butch banded together to stop the felon to the point where they were hailed as local heroes. The man they helped was the Canadian ambassador to Townsville and he gave Enok, Rahan, Brick, and Butch medals of honor to commend them for their deeds. Equally as astounded…
Okay, viewers. Quick question. What would happen if you combined one awesome and super strong dog hanyo, one fun-loving, sweet and rather kickass wolf yokai, one lovable dumb muscle of a martial artist, one gorgeous virgin, one fiery mechanic chick, and one feisty witch? You would get a crossover BroT6 that is absolutely fun, badass, charming in its own way, and so beautiful! If you cannot already tell who they are, they are Inuyasha and Ginta from Inuyasha, Kiichi “Kiibo” Miyazawa from Shootfighter Tekken or High School Exciting Story: Tough, Rosé Thomas and Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist, and Maya Orihara from Ultra Maniac. Moreover, here are their ages in this piece of fan art. Inuyasha, aged 35 Ginta, aged 34 Kiibo, aged 34 Rosé, aged 32 Winry, aged 30 Maya, aged 29 It should come off as no surprise that I not only enjoy Inuyasha from time to time but also the three-episode OVA Shootfighter Tekken, both Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and to some extent Ultra Maniac, mostly because Maya steals the show. These shows were a part of my life growing up all thanks to these characters. When making this piece of fanart, this begged the question. What would happen if Oton not only had Kiichi or Kiibo as his son but also adopted Inuyasha, Ginta, Rosé, Winry, and Maya as his own children and took in Pinako as the grandmother figure? I’m pretty sure this would be the most badass, kickass, awesome, and extremely grand family to ever walk the Japanese anime world. I can certainly see how everything unfolds as an anime crossover AU. As children, all six of them would be trained rigorously in the art of Nanshin Shadow Style by Sensei Oton and would always have each others’ backs whenever trouble comes afoot. As teenagers, they would balance school with their martial arts training whilst getting themselves into the usual drama that teens face like getting to a great university, getting great grades, having first dates, and more. Finally, as adults, all of them would become the greatest martial arts team known to man and end up married. The way I see the familial relationship in my AU is the following. Oton is the big, stern patriarch who ensures discipline on his six children by training them every day in the art of Nanshin Shadow Style. When they are not training he does like to unwind with them once in a while even though he does not always show it. Regardless, he deeply cares for all six of his children and finds something unique in every one of them. Grandpa Miyazawa and Pinako Rockbell are the wise grandparents who give their grandchildren great advice and can still open up a can of whoop-ass even in their old age. Inuyasha is the large-and-in-charge eldest child who leads with an iron fist. Despite having a gruff exterior, he does show his unconditional love to his younger siblings and goes out of his way to protect them. He enjoys all of the wrestling, beatdowns, and posedowns he has with Ginta and Kiibo and he is very tender towards his younger sisters, Rosé, Winry, and Maya. He has also been happily married to Ayame for seventeen years with five children. His eldest sons Kenta and Keita love being around Ginta and Kiibo, as they spar and train together with their father. His younger son, Kaito, and his daughters, Momoko and Maya, love being around Rosé, Winry, and Maya, as they also train with their mother and have quiet walks in the forest. Ginta is the meek, charming, loving, and comforting second child who is a foil to Inuyasha’s brand of impulsiveness. While not as macho and gruff as Inuyasha, he can still be assertive whenever his older brother does something rash or foolish or whenever he says something he does not agree with. In spite of the arguments he has with Inuyasha, he still considers him to not only the greatest brother he ever has but also his true friend. He and Inuyasha also consider Rosé and Winry to be their favorite little sisters, as they can show that they are as tough as their big brothers. Ginta has been happily married to Shunran for sixteen years with five children. His eldest sons, Minoru and Manabu, have a very close-knit friendship with Kenta and Keita, as they not only do a lot of training together but also have fun like many other active teenage boys. His daughters and youngest son Sakura, Kokoro, and Sentaro enjoy hanging out with Kaito, Momoko, and Maya, as they like to race each other in vast open fields and even hang out with their uncles, aunties, grandfather, and great-grandparents. Kiibo is the lovably goofy dumb muscle third child who loves to spar and have posedowns with his older brothers and likes to tease his younger sisters. There are times Inuyasha does tend to be annoyed by Kiibo and his simple-mindedness, goofiness, and overall act first think later type of personality and Ginta does find him to be annoying in a rather endearing way but his younger sisters, Rosé, Winry, and Maya, find him to be cute in a hilarious way because they just love seeing their big brother flex his muscles. As the muscle of his siblings, he does his part in making sure that they are safe from any harm and is always of assistance when it comes to the heavy-duty work. Moreover, he and his older brothers have become martial arts trainers to aspiring fighters, thus learning a lot from their father. Brick “The Lord High Bludgeoner” Green, aged 26 Butch “The Baron of Brawn” Green, aged 26 Blossom “The Commander and the Leader” Utonium-Green, aged 25 Buttercup “The Toughest Fighter” Utonium-Green, aged 25 Now with that said, here’s the order of who they are going to individually fight against. Inuyasha vs Brick- We got two strong-willed, hotheaded big guys squaring off against each other. This is going to be fun. Ginta vs Butch- It’s strength and speed against pure muscle. Who comes out alive will be determined by this match. Ayame vs Blossom- It’s a clash consisting of grace, beauty, tact, toughness, endurance, and stamina. These ladies certainly have it made for each other. Shunran vs Buttercup- Delicate yet mischievous feminity clashing against hardcore tomboyishness.
