I know some of you might feel tired of me preaching about my least to most favorite RRB x PPG pairings to the heavens, but I figured that this would be fun to expound some of my opinions on the other pairings. Moreover, just by seeing this list, you will realize that there is not one pairing I feel either indifferent to or dislike and I could not find any pairing that fits that category, seeing that I do have adamant sentiments when it comes to certain pairings. So, let’s get cracking by getting the negatives out of the way. The Pairings I absolutely abhor the most RRBcest (Brick x Butch aka Brickutch, Butch x Boomer aka Butchoomer, and Brick x Boomer aka Brickoomer) and PPGcest (Blossom x Buttercup aka Blossercup, Buttercup x Bubbles aka Butterubbles, and Blossom x Bubbles aka Blossubbles) On a general level, I cannot stand any pairing where either Brick, Butch, and Boomer or Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles end up as each others’ lovers, as it is just plain sick and wrong. I know I used to have Brick x Butch or Brickutch as my guilty pleasure pairing, but I suddenly outgrew this pairing, as I strongly decided to keep Brick and Butch as really best friends who stick out for each other through thick and thin and have wonderfully epic moments of bromance. Maybe if they were not brothers I would give this pairing a shot because of their strong chemistry and bond, but as it is, just keep them as bromantic besties and let us call it a day. Do not even get me started on either Butch x Boomer or Brick x Boomer as lovers because there would be no chemistry between Boomer and either of his brothers as lovers. In Butchoomer’s case, I would prefer it if Butch and Boomer were really competitive friends with benefits who love to test their strength and athletic prowess on each other and see who is the stronger brother of the two. In Brickoomer’s case, I would rather keep it as a similar case to Butch’s and Boomer’s competitive relationship, but with Brick being the one to show tough fraternal love to Boomer and be as competitive with him, thus having Boomer show Brick and Butch how much stronger he can be than them and get their respect in the process. All in all, I can definitely say that Brick’s and Butch’s relationship is akin to being really great friends, Butch’s and Boomer’s relationship is within the realms of really competitive friends who have moments of sibling rivalry but end up working together rather well, and Brick’s and Boomer’s relationship is competitive in a tough fraternal love kind of way. Therefore, Boomer can respect Brick and Butch for being the strong, tough brothers that they are and Brick and Butch can respect Boomer for proving to them that he can be as strong as a fighter than them. Now that we have talked about the gentlemen, how about the ladies? Blossom x Buttercup or Blossercup makes me go through a moment of projectile vomiting! I would rather keep these girls as really close yet really competitive frenemies who may get on each others’ nerves but still give a darn about each other because of how effectively they work together. Their relationship is really akin to Cyborg’s and Robin’s relationship from Teen Titans 2003, in which Robin’s and Blossom’s brand of being the straight person manages to complement Cyborg’s and Buttercup’s muscle rather well, thus making them an unstoppable force. Moreover, it says a lot when both Blossom and Buttercup are the very people who do enjoy testing their strength and combat prowess on each other. Buttercup x Bubbles or Butterubbles might as well be the classic case of friends with benefits considering how many scuffles these two have in the show. Bubbles, being the romantic that she is, would easily function as the matchmaker and be of high approval of Buttercup and Brick getting together an awesome couple. Blossom x Bubbles or Blossubbles might as well and should stick to the classic case of Blossom being the only sane woman supporting Bubbles in all of her times of insecurity, fear, and anguish and vice versa. All in all, PPGcest is yet another set of pairings I cannot stand and I would rather keep the sisterly dynamic between Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles as extremely platonic thank you very much. Butch x Buttercup aka Butchercup The Greens as a couple makes me want to throw up! I might as well keep these two as friends who work really well together giving any felon a well-deserved knuckle sandwich. But as a couple? No! Get those two away from each other before something explodes! Moving on. Brick x Blossom aka Blossick No! Do not ever get me started on BlossSICK anymore, as it literally and figuratively makes me sick for overrated, overloved, and over-bloated this particular pairing really is. Moreover, do not get me started on how much their egos tend to consume them. These two deserve better and I am pretty sure they know it! I would rather keep them as comrades-in-arms and call it a day. The Pairing I like Boomer x Buttercup aka Boomercup As a cute, innocent pairing, I have been getting behind this for a long time. However, as a legitimate pairing, I cannot see anything beyond this other than the case of it being an innocent crush on Boomer’s side and a sort of fling on Buttercup’s side. The Pairing I love Brick x Bubbles aka Brickubbles This is a cute, innocent pairing I support so much. This Brick-centered episode of “It’s Not Easy Bein’ Red” takes place in Townsville High back in September 2009, when Brick, Buttercup, and Bubbles were in the eleventh grade. 17-year-old Brick Green may be the most popular, well-rounded, well-loved young man in school that girls would love to date and boys would be either green with envy, yearn to be his best friend, look up to him or even want to date him but it kind of comes at a price especially when he is in the middle of a cat-fight/tug-of-war challenge between 16-year-old Buttercup Utonium, who was the most athletic student and Volleyball MVP with a hard reputation, and her 15-year-old sister Bubbles Utonium, who was an extremely well-loved cheerleader for the Townsville Tigers as well as being heavily involved in the arts, music, and theater. As I said before, being Townsville High’s most popular male student may have its perks but it can get a little bit sticky when a love triangle such as this is involved. I definitely enjoyed making this come to fruition, as I can easily consider both Brickercup and Brickubbles far more exceptional than some other overrated RuffPuff pairing I know of that has been ubiquitous throughout the PPG fandom (*cough*Blossick*cough*). Moreover, I bet you already know who is my Brick-centered OTP and who is my Brick-centered cute, innocent pairing that works nicely as a BroTP or vice versa. We have our beloved members of Team Xtreme, who were eleventh graders at the time, in the annual Townsville High Winter Ball, which is held a day before the Christmas break starts. The theme for this particular winter ball is Fairy Tale Prince and Fairy Tale Princess, as our heroes are dressed to the nines in royal garb, especially considering that seventeen-year-olds Brick, Butch, and Boomer are dressed in elegant, princely attire, and their respective dates sixteen-year-olds Buttercup and Blossom and fifteen-year-old Bubbles are in absolutely gorgeous gowns. So, I hope you all enjoy and soak in this Brickercup goodness. The Brickercup family has struck again and this time it’s bigger, more exciting, and more fun. We have 26-year-old Brick being the tough, buff, big Kahuna daddy that he is with his darling 25-year-old wife Buttercup being the tough, strong mom. At the front are the 7-year-old eldest sextuplets Brad, Bruce, Bailee, Bea, Brett, and Bridget and 6-year-old second eldest daughter Brina. On the right are 4-year-old Blaze, 3-year-old Brent, and 2-year-old sororal twins Brooke and Brianna. Finally, on the left are 1-year-old twins Bane and Bethany and on Brick’s shoulder is 8-month-old Bona. This is truly quite the clan of rambunctious, rough-and-tumble, determined, fiery, athletic, and tough fighters. We got to know about Blaze, Brent, and Brook, so let us to get to know the other Brickercup kids, shall we? Bradford Tyrone “Brad” Green, Bruce Warren Green, Bailee Christina “BC Jr.” Green, Beatrice Elizabeth “Bea” Green, Brett Rupert Green, and Bridget Melissa Green were born on June 3, 2011. It was said that the sextuplets were loud, wild, and rambunctious when they emerged from their mother’s womb with Bridget being the loudest. Because Brick, Buttercup and the rest of their respective siblings were entering college, Mr. Green, Professor Utonium, Mrs. Bellum-Green, and Mrs. Keane-Utonium were very much in charge of raising their grandchildren with the six superheroes coming to visit every weekend to check up on their progeny. As the sextuplets were in their toddler years, they went out of their ways to have their playtime in the form of sparring matches whether it is against each other or using their favorite stuffed animals as punching bags, thus exhibiting their toughness as fighters. Bradford Tyrone Green, or Brad as he prefers to be called, sees himself as the overall eldest of the sextuplets and the other children of Brick and Buttercup. He takes after his father’s loud, imposing, hot-headed nature that the phrase “the apple does not fall too far from the tree” does not even begin to describe Brad to the point where he is such a daddy’s boy. Even though he always prefers to be called Brad, his parents would always call him by his complete name whenever he is in deep trouble. Being a daddy’s boy, he loves to have sparring matches with Brick every weekend along with his brother/best friend Bruce. Brad always loves to know that he is in charge, though there are times his siblings and cousins can be rather irritated by his overconfidence. Regardless, he means well to all of his siblings and he will always have their backs every single time. Brad’s hobbies include weightlifting, basketball, American football, soccer, judo, mixed martial arts, wrestling, karate, boxing, listening to heavy metal music, reading graphic novels, and Greek history. His special power is the usage of his flame-enhanced laser beams, which can easily obliterate any foe who crosses his path. Just one blast of those flame-enhanced laser beams and that foe is surely a goner. Brad aspires to become a professional mixed martial artist with his entrance music being “Indestructible” sung by Disturbed. Bruce Warren Green is fiercely loyal to his brother Brad to the point where they are best friends forever. As much as Bruce is so close to his father, he absolutely looks up to his mother as his role model. Bruce is just as loud, imposing, and hot-headed as his father and Brad, but he is also a rambunctious and determined soul like his mother. Brad and Bruce have a super strong bond as brothers almost akin to Castor and Pollux, as they are inseparable. He and Brad always love to show that they are in charge and even though this trait can be a nuisance to their siblings and cousins, they mean well. Bruce does compliment Brad in a way that he is slightly softer than his commanding brother. Bruce’s hobbies are kickboxing, wrestling, boxing, mixed martial arts, karate, judo, weightlifting, basketball, American football, soccer, listening to death metal music and rock ‘n roll, reading science fiction novels like the ones by H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, and Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology. His special power is his signature Raging Dragon Blast, in which he forms a blazing comet with his hands akin to Goku’s Kamehameha Wave. When Bruce unleashes this, a flaming comet will emerge and will completely incinerate his opponents to smithereens. Bruce aspires to be a professional wrestler/mixed martial artist who is going to win all the tournaments alongside his favorite brother Brad. Bailee Christina “BC Jr.” Green really lives up to her nick-namesake, as she is a marvelous combination of Brick’s hot-headedness, roughness, and pride and Buttercup’s toughness, feistiness, and free-spirited nature. She is close to both her father and her mother, as she equally loves them both. BC Jr. loves physical competition to a fault in everything she does whether they be sports, video games or general butt-kicking. Being the tomboy she is, she always loves to get her hands dirty and enjoys wearing…

Sure, Brick and Boomer are rather possessive of Buttercup, but as you can obviously tell, she is not enjoying this. Sometimes she even wonders why these two gentlemen would ever fall in love with her in the first place and she is no damsel in distress by any stretch of the imagination.
