The Updated Post-Zordon Toonami Inuranger Team-Ups

Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything from the early 1990s to the early 2000s, Antoni here. I am excited to proceed with the post-Zordon Inuranger team-ups of the Toonami era. There is a lot to revise and unpack from here. Furthermore, Turbo is not the only series that gets away with two Blue Rangers. Lost Galaxy has two Pink Rangers, while Time Force has three Red Rangers. As a reminder, in my Inurangers AU headcanon, I decided to make the Inurangers version of Kendrix Morgan, Kaoru Ichinose from Detective School Q, the Pink Seraph Galaxy Ranger complete with wings on her back and heels like a combination of Hermes and a seraph. If Kendrix had managed to maintain her Galaxy powers in the afterlife, she would have ended up in that Ranger suit, which would have increased her overall power of heavenly light. Her costume design rich in celestial symbolism serves as a counterbalance to the earthier, more bull-like design of the Magna Defender. The Inurangers version of Karone, Cheza from Wolf’s Rain, on the other hand, shall maintain her normal Pink Galaxy Ranger suit after ending her villainous tenure as Black Rose Cheza from Inurangers in Space. Meanwhile, the Inurangers version of Alex Drake, Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic, shall be the Red Shadow Time Force Ranger and will be the main pilot of the Time Shadow Zord with a darker shade of red on his suit. The Inurangers versions of Eric Myers and Wes Collins, Baki Hanma from Baki the Grappler and Kiichi “Kiibo” Miyazawa from Shootfighter Tekken, shall still have the same normal shades of red in their suits like their real-life counterparts. After this, I will revise the line-up for the Inurangers version of “Forever Red.” Therefore, I hope all of these clarifications are understood.

With all of that said, let us not waste any more time and get the remainder of these Toonami-era Inurangers teams from the post-Zordon seasons. Let’s Rocket! Go Galactic! Lightspeed Rescue! Time for Time Force! Quantum Power! Wild Access!

Inurangers Lost Galaxy: “To the Fourteenth Power” The Space/Galaxy Inurangers Team-Up (2003)

The seven Psycho Inurangers consisting of Rizelle from Chrono Crusade as Psycho Red, Kouga from Inuyasha as Psycho Green, Hiten from Inuyasha as Psycho Silver, Bankotsu from Inuyasha as Psycho Black, Lyra from Fullmetal Alchemist as Psycho Blue, Shader from Chrono Crusade as Psycho Yellow, and Ryomo Shimei from Ikki Tousen as Psycho Pink strike again. Lord Darcia III’s and Cheza’s initial creations during the latter’s tenure as Black Rose Cheza are resurrected by Sousuke Aizen from Bleach, the Inurangers version of Deviot. She is horrified to know that the Psycho Inurangers have been resurrected and does her part to stop them, just as Ryoma and Mika try to destroy Rizelle. Even Ryomo does her part in taunting Cheza for her errors. Just as the seven Psycho Inurangers are about to decimate the seven Galaxy Inurangers, the seven Space Inurangers join in the battle. In this version, even Kisuke and Mitsuhide participate in making this team-up amount to fourteen space-themed Inurangers.

Inurangers Lost Galaxy: “The Power of Pink” The Space/Galaxy Inurangers Team-Up (2003)

Rizelle, Kouga, Hiten, Bankotsu, Lyra, and Shader may have been defeated, but Ryomo is not down for the count yet. As the Inurangers version of Psycho Pink, she has her Savage Sword on standby. Cheza manages to destroy Ryomo with her Transdagger. However, the Savage Sword is still bent on destroying the world. Kaoru uses her Quasar Saber to destroy it but at a cost. She transcends the flesh, yet she continues to be a visible spirit thanks to her Pink Heavenly Seraph powers. Unlike Kendrix, Kaoru does not end up going to the next world. She still fights alongside her teammates as a spirit and ensures Cheza that she will continue to fight by her side as a fellow Pink Ranger.

Inurangers Lightspeed Rescue: “Princess Abi’s Revenge” The Lightspeed Rescue/Galaxy Inurangers Team-Up (2004)

Princess Abi from Inuyasha, the Inurangers version of Trakeena, is back in business to wreak havoc on Tokyo Bay. Now, it is up to the Lightspeed Rescue Inurangers and the Galaxy Inurangers to stop her evil machinations for good and for all. Yes, Nancy Cooper may have been in one episode, but she would have made for a fine seventh Ranger to complete the team, thanks to her gutsy bravery. Luckily, Kyuzo from Samurai 7 fills the role of Nancy and GoGoV’s Kyoko Hayase to be the Platinum Lightspeed Ranger and is a gender-flipped version of Nancy and Kyoko combined, as he is a young man while having a bit of Ryan Mitchell in him. Wakana, on the other hand, fulfills her role as a gender-flipped version of Ryan Mitchell and Beast Hunter Zeek, while having a bit of Nancy Cooper in her. Furthermore, both Kaoru and Cheza are back as the Pink Galaxy Heavenly Seraph Ranger and Pink Galaxy Ranger respectively to complete the team-up.

  • Ichiro Miyata from Hajime no Ippo the 20-year-old Red Lightspeed Rescue Ranger version of Carter Grayson voiced by Jason Palmer

Inurangers Time Force: “Time for Lightspeed” The Time Force/Lightspeed Rescue Inurangers Team-Up (2005)

Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist, the Inurangers version of Vypra, arises from the grave. She asks the assistance of Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez and Cirucci Sanderwicci, the Inurangers version of Ransik and Nadira, to resurrect the Oni of the Forbidden Tower to wreak havoc on the world. Now, it is up to the Time Force Inurangers and the Lightspeed Rescue Inurangers to join forces and defeat the Oni. Even Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic has been joining as a full-time Seventh Ranger and the third overall Time Force Inuranger to don the color red. Unlike Alex Drake, who is at most an extra Ranger and an anti-hero, Kurz is totally on board as the Red Shadow Time Force Ranger.

Inurangers Wild Force: “Reinforcements from the Future Parts 1 and 2” The Wild Force/Time Force Inurangers Team-Up (2006)

Mut-Orgs are on a rampage. The Time Force and the Wild Force Inurangers join forces to do battle with them. However, their combined powers are not enough to defeat them. They end up receiving assistance from unexpected allies in Grimmjow and Cirucci. Grimmjow was solely responsible for unleashing the Mut-Orgs among other atrocities he did during his tenure fighting against the Time Force Inurangers. Much like how the real-life two-part “Reinforcements from the Future” is the penultimate Power Rangers team-up episode of the Saban Era, this is also the same case of the Toonami-Era Inurangers series. What makes this better is that unlike Princess Shayla who is mainly the loving big sister figure and mentor figure to the Wild Force Rangers, Satella Harvenheit from Chrono Crusade, the Inurangers version of Princess Shayla, actually takes part as a seventh Ranger, specifically the Emerald Deer Wild Force Ranger.

  • Ippo Makunouchi from Hajime no Ippo the 22-year-old Red Blazing Lion Ranger version of Cole Evans voiced by Steve Staley
  • Kiichi “Kiibo” Miyazawa from Shootfighter Tekken the 23-year-old Red Time Force Ranger version of Wesley “Wes” Collins voiced by Michael Sinterniklaas
  • Satella Harvenheit from Chrono Crusade the 22-year-old Emerald Leaping Deer Ranger version of Princess Shayla voiced by Tiffany Grant
  • Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic the 24-year-old Red Shadow Time Force Ranger version of Alex Drake voiced by Vic Mignogna
  • Blue from Wolf’s Rain the 24-year-old Silver Howling Wolf Ranger version of Merrick Baliton voiced by Jessica Straus
  • Baki Hanma from Baki the Grappler the 24-year-old Quantum Time Force Ranger version of Eric Myers voiced by Robert McCollum
  • Ichise from Texhnolyze the 22-year-old Black Iron Bison Ranger version of Danny Delgado voiced by Justin Gross
  • Kintaro Touyama from Detective School Q the 22-year-old Blue Time Force Ranger version of Lucas Kendall voiced by Illich Guardiola
  • Ryu Amakusa from Detective School Q the 18-year-old Blue Surging Shark Ranger version of Max Cooper voiced by Chris Patton
  • Kyu Renjou from Detective School Q the 17-year-old Green Time Force Ranger version of Trip Regis voiced by Greg Ayres
  • Rosé Thomas from Fullmetal Alchemist the 19-year-old Yellow Soaring Eagle Ranger version of Taylor Earhardt voiced by Colleen Clinkenbeard

  • Ayu Tateishi from Ultra Maniac the 17-year-old Pink Time Force Ranger version of Jennifer “Jen” Scotts voiced by Stephanie Sheh
  • Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez from Bleach the 22-year-old version of Ransik voiced by David Vincent
  • Cirucci Sanderwicci from Bleach the 18-year-old version of Nadira voiced by Tricia Pierce

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. With these revised Inuranger team-ups of the Toonami era out of the way, I am way more excited than ever before for the revised Inurangers version of “Forever Red”, where all the Red Rangers of this era assemble. Stay tuned for that, everybody.
