What do you get when you make one superhero couple of epically mythical proportions, one focused brown-haired martial arts couple of Asian descent, one dynamic blond-haired martial arts couple of Western heritage, one state military couple brimming with excitingly belligerent sexual tension, one law enforcer couple capable of transforming into heroes in multicolored suits, one canine yokai warrior couple prepared to beat formidable opponents to a bloody pulp, and one glamorously gorgeous couple from Beverly Hills join forces? You get an exceptional legion of power couples who not only look amazing together but also prove themselves to be physically capable of protecting innocent civilians against oppressors and taking down ruthless opponents with every fiber of their being. All seven power couples embody peerless physical prowess, high levels of romantic intimacy, and great fighting spirit to make them the strong team that they are. Each of them also possesses individual fighting styles that define them as couples and as fighters using their strength to inspire people’s motivation and growth.

Superman x Wonder Woman: Legendarily Dutiful Sovereigns
To proclaim that Superman and Wonder Woman are the emperor and empress of power couples is a mere understatement. They can give the likes of Zeus and Hera, Odin and Frigg, and many other mighty ruler couples a huge run for their money. There is no doubt that Superman and Wonder Woman possess mythically abundant amounts of super strength, rapid reflexes, and godly amounts of endurance, especially when Superman’s muscles of steel work flawlessly with Wonder Woman’s fierce athletic prowess. However, their collective fortitude, might, power, and Herculean prowess are used to protect innocent civilians from harm and demolish any evil oppressor who dares to abuse their power. Given that both Superman and Wonder Woman or Kal-El aka Clark and Diana have mythical combat prowess firmly rooted in old-school Western civilization, their fighting style is a fascinating mixture of Pankration, Ancient Greek Wrestling, and Ancient Greek Boxing. They can throw any punch, arm bar, shoulder lock, leg lock, choke, throw, and takedown to their hearts’ desire and triumph over their enemies in style.

Ryu x Chun-Li: Honorably Conducted Warriors
Living by the codes of the ancient dragons are Ryu Hoshi from Japan and Chun-Li from China. Ryu and Chun-Li can put both Japan’s and China’s emperors, empresses, and prime ministers to shame because of how deeply and thoroughly they stick to their unadulterated sense of honor as martial artists and beacons of enlightenment. Ryu’s unquestionable sense of duty to his craft as a martial artist serves as a welcome canvas for Chun-Li to implement her expertise as a law-abiding police officer by prioritizing on protection of families, duty to civilians, and justice for all. Therefore, both Ryu and Chun-Li implement their combat prowess and duty as martial artists to put people’s safety as a number one priority. Ryu’s and Chun-Li’s Ansatsuken have their respective roots in established martial arts. Ryu has the primarily hard styles of Shotokan Karate, Kyokushin Karate, Judo, and Kenpo, while Chun-Li has both the hard and soft styles found in Shaolin Kung Fu, Sanda, Tai Chi, and Wushu. Together, Ryu and Chun-Li propel their hard and soft attacks to bring balance and evenness to their techniques.

Ken x Cammy: Relentlessly Fierce Challengers
Rocking a Transatlantic sense of spicy intimacy and unconditional romance all while kicking loads of butt and taking names are Ken Masters from the United States of America and Cammy White from England in the United Kingdom. The golden sunshine of the hair may radiate brilliantly like the shining sun. Their azure blue eyes may denote calmness before the storm. However, their external beauty is only complemented by their all-encompassing fighting prowess, combining Ken’s fierily rampaging takedowns, grapples, and blows and Cammy’s acrobatically mobile strikes, punches, and kicks. Neither Ken nor Cammy stops at nothing to grow as combatants. More importantly, both Ken and Cammy challenge each other to improve in character and demonstrate resilience in the face of adversity. This necessity for a challenge is also reflected in their Ansatsuken. Ken’s chiefly hard style of Shotokan Karate, Kyokushin Karate, Judo, and Kenpo is well-combined with Cammy’s brutally effective style of British All-In Fighting, Kickboxing, Hapkido, and Jujutsu to make their opponents surrender in terror.

Roy x Riza: Militaristically Calculating Lieutenants
When fire and steel merge and meld, it can only mean one thing. Colonel Roy Mustang and Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye are on the job to ensure that safety, justice, order, progress, tradition, duty, and good direction remain top of mind in their careers as militants. Criminals, looters, marauders, and pillagers shall be robbed of sleep and peace once Roy and Riza arrive to arrest and eradicate them, especially for crimes far too inhumane to comprehend. Roy’s and Riza’s high status as a militaristic power couple does not just stop them from doing their duties the best way they can. It also illustrates how Roy’s dichotomy of impassioned charisma and cool charm can beautifully blend with Riza’s collected intellect and analytical intuitiveness. They also challenge each other as leaders because they know that there is a lot of promise and growth that they can give to each other and themselves. Roy’s and Riza’s military expertise also means that they combine Krav Maga, Marine Corps Martial Arts, Defendu, Combat Sambo, and Jieitaikakutojutsu to overpower invaders and ensure a powerful fleet of honorable defenders.

Eric x Taylor: Commandingly Robust Captains
The bloody red fangs of the Quantasaurus Rex Zord and the shining yellow wings of the Wild Force Eagle Zord clash and collide to provide innocent civilians with all the security they need against rampaging rogue mutants and terrifyingly terrible orgs. Enter Commander Eric Myers and Lieutenant Taylor Earhardt who are militants with heaps of attitude willing to stomp out any vile creature willing to destroy the earth. All it takes is for Eric to unleash his Quantum Morpher and Taylor to unsheath her Growl Phone, after having the obligatory battle against the mooks, and they transform into even more potent combatants. Eric becomes the red-clad Quantum Ranger, while Taylor becomes the yellow-clad Soaring Eagle Ranger. Super-powered monster-stomping aside, Eric and Taylor possess a lot in common from their fascination with military paraphernalia to serving their country well. Furthermore, they are also experts in a mixture of Krav Maga, Marine Corps Martial Arts, the LINE combat system, the SCARS combat system, and the SPEAR combat system to fortify their combat prowess against vile invaders.

Inuyasha x Ayame: Ferociously Rampaging Punishers
Demons and mightier opponents better beware when Inuyasha and Ayame take center stage because they can deliver some brutally bloody attacks. Inuyasha’s magnificently muscular virility as a dog yokai warrior king and Ayame’s furiously fiery fists as a wolf yokai warrior queen are what propel them to mash and cream every battle they partake in. When Inuyasha pumps up loads of iron, granite, steel, and titanium to his muscles, he becomes a fearsomely virile warlord ready to trounce even the mightiest of tyrants. When Ayame unleashes her fists, feet, knees, shins, and elbows of mercury and quicksilver, she becomes a ruthless queen who knocks giants out. Together, they use their muscles, punches, grappling skills, and takedowns to release an unspeakable amount of corporal punishment to any murderer and marauder who dares to besmirch their happy home. In fact, Inuyasha’s magnificent muscles and Ayame’s furious fists make them brilliant for a combination of Pankration, Vale Tudo, Combat Sambo, Kapu Kuialua, Mixed Martial Arts, Luta Livre, and Shoot Boxing to terrorize horrid criminals to their core.

Raymond x Alex: Gorgeously Charismatic Deities
Flashing smiles and a whole lot of charismatic charm are what define Raymond and Alex to be the thoroughly attractive power couple that they are. Attractively gorgeous faces may be Raymond’s and Alex’s meal tickets, especially when complemented by Raymond’s beautifully bulging muscles and Alex’s lithely agile frame. However, how they appear on the outside is only bolstered by how they are on the inside. Raymond’s welcome approachability and affable charm are the hallmarks that make him a fine gym instructor to anybody desiring to be in shape. Alex’s ebullient enthusiasm and unwavering optimism encourage people to be thoroughly active. Raymond’s and Alex’s positive attitude and abundant perseverance make them shimmer on the inside and outside. Nothing can ever get them down, and they will always welcome challenges. As for fighting styles, Raymond’s combination of Greco-Roman Wrestling, Professional Wrestling, Lutte Senegalaise, and Ancient Greek Wrestling blends greatly with Alex’s combination of Taekwondo, Shaolin Kung Fu, Shotokan Karate, and Wado-Ryu Karate.

This lineup of seven power couples shows that the power couples that work hard together in harmony stay together in harmony too. Furthermore, each of their combat expertise shows that just because they look great together does not mean that they cannot open up a huge serving of whoop-ass. In fact, all seven power couples possess abundant combat prowess to make them more formidable than they already are. Outside the formidability and the beauty of each of these couples, they all demonstrate deep loyalty and unbreakable allegiance, thus making sure that everlasting fidelity remains top of mind. Therefore, it is always a joy seeing seven power couples work together in great harmony, not just with their respective significant others.
