Singers I Love: Jessica Pratt

Behold! My greatest highlight during my Bordeaux trip was meeting the ever-stunning, ever-fabulous, and phenomenal Jessica Pratt. She definitely sang up a magnificent storm at the Opéra National de Bordeaux from the clockwork acrobatics of Olympia to Antonia’s yearningly painful virtuosity to Giulietta’s sinuous sensuality and style to Stella’s superb acting chops, thus proving herself to be the complete package.

Moreover, she is very well-known for her interpretations of Lucia Ashton from Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Elvira Valton from Bellini’s I Puritani, Amina from Bellini’s La Sonnambula, Rossini’s Semiramide and Mathilde from Guillaume Tell, Gilda from Verdi’s Rigoletto, the Queen of the Night from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, and Violetta from Verdi’s La Traviata.

Here is to more years of awesomeness, beauty, and greatness to the fabulous Jessica Pratt. Cheers!
