Anti-Shippou

Demotivational Poster: Shippou 4

This screenshot demotivational poster is highly, utterly, indubitably, and absolutely Anti-Shippou. Sit back, relax, and enjoy my evisceration of this pathetic excuse of a Kitsune and why I believe he gives fascinating creatures like Kitsune a terrible name. People who defend Shippou or are lenient towards him can perform the same song and dance with me about how he is just a child, he is just comic relief, and/or both all they want. However, I do not buy any of these excuses at all. I have seen funnier comic reliefs who are not insufferable little ingrates. I have seen more lovable kid characters who have a deeper sense of understanding and compassion. For today’s discourse, I have seen cooler, craftier, fiercer, and more formidable Kitsune than the pathetic, ungrateful, horrid, hateful little bastard known as Shippou. I will always argue that Shippou gives Kitsune a horrible name because he is not crafty in the slightest. Yes, he can change into different creatures, but he does it haphazardly to the point where Kirara and Hachiemon were more reliable than this little prick will ever be. He is just a pathetic bigmouth who had the potential to grow, but his powers were inconsequential at best and useless at worst. Therefore, he deserves only my pity for not reaching his full potential as a resourceful warrior and a reliable member of the team he was in. Coming from somebody who knows a fair amount of Japanese mythology, Kitsune are known to be crafty, cunning, wise, and rely mostly on a quick mind than mighty muscle when it comes to overcoming their foes. Shippou is the unfortunate opposite of what Kitsune is supposed to be because he is an unfunny coward without an inch of craftiness in his mind, body, and soul. Instead of growing in wisdom and cunning for his young age, he would rather be a snide loser whose bark is much worse than his bite as well as be coddled by three other losers in Miroku, Sango, and Kagome. Shippou is only effective with weaker opponents and does not even have the will to challenge himself let alone build up his own strength and skill. It really says something that a flea demon like Myoga, a blacksmith like Totosai, a Kappa like Jaken, and a Tanuki like Hachiemon are far more useful, cunning, and hilarious than Shippou will ever be. I never expect him to be as awesome as Yoko Kurama or as overly powerful as the Nine-Tailed Fox Demon, but his lack of power and cunning make Shippou truly lame and weak against his opponents. Speaking of not being as great as Yoko Kurama or the Nine-Tailed Fox Demon because he lacks strength, stamina, stealth, and smarts, Shippou’s weakness as a fighter and as one of my favorite Japanese mythical beings ever extends to his lack of growth. The little he does learn throughout the course of the series ends up being all for naught. He does not grow more compassionate or more powerful or more conscientious as a warrior and as an individual. He continues to be an unreliable ally who does not acquire new skills to challenge himself, thus not making him helpful in taking down stronger demons including, the worst of them all, Naraku. The excuse of him being a child and a comic relief all fall flat on deaf ears because he should have used his skills to grow as a fighter, but he did not. It says something that even Justin Stewart from Power Rangers Turbo was more reliable to his older teammates/surrogate older brothers and sisters because he had sufficient smarts and moves to help his comrades and friends out of sticky and compromising situations. What remain of Shippou is his weakness and my pity. When the likes of Jaken, Myoga, Totosai, and Hachiemon are more useful than a hellion like Shippou, you know that something is indubitably wrong with this picture of supposed power from a Kitsune. The excuses of him being a tagalong kid and a comic relief are absolute bollocks because there have been kid characters who were far more reliable let alone stronger and cleverer than this turd will ever be such as Power Rangers Turbo’s Justin Stewart the Blue Turbo Power Ranger. Justin has proven himself to be resourceful, reliable, courageous, and understanding despite some mixed fan reception of him being a kid ending up as a Power Ranger, although the likes of Kou and Riki from Dairanger and Ohranger are also young children who take on ranger duties and do them well. I never bought Shippou’s minuscule contributions to his group/surrogate family because he lacks resourcefulness and courage. If he did grow into a more resourceful Kitsune, instead of the mouthy little loser that he is, perhaps I would root for him more. However, as he is, he is a pathetic loser worthy of the title of a skinned pelt than a Kitsune. I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and never be useless like Shippou is, everybody. The Lousy, Badmouthing, and Horrid Jackass from Inuyasha belongs to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.

Demotivational Poster: Shippou 3

This screenshot demotivational poster is highly, utterly, indubitably, and absolutely Anti-Shippou. Sit back, relax, and understand why I take great issue with Shippou’s undying ingratitude, especially towards Inuyasha who, despite being rough on him, saved his life multiple times. People say that Shippou is annoying because he is a whiny tagalong kid who gets on the main hero’s nerves and is utterly useless in battle most of the time. While I can agree with those statements, the main issue I have always had with Shippou is his ingratitude. Not once did he thank Inuyasha for avenging his father’s death from Hiten and Manten. Not once did this little shit ever acknowledge how much loneliness Inuyasha had to endure throughout his life until he found Kikyou. Not once did he ever show any form of empathy let alone compassion, as he reveled in taking pot-shots on Inuyasha. Shippou was nothing more than an ungrateful, uncouth, horrid, bad-tempered scumbag who has none of my sympathies just because he was the tagalong kid. Once again, the excuse of him being a child will always fall deaf on my ears because there have been better child characters than Shippou who show more gratitude than this pathetic turd ever did. Therefore, in the words of Jack Albertson’s Grandpa Joe, Shippou is a crook, a cheat, a swindler, and an inhuman monster complicit in smashing Inuyasha’s need for companionship. Shippou’s ingratitude is cancer that permeates into something uglier than the human eye can see. The most egregious example of Shippou’s ingratitude towards Inuyasha was Episode 100 because of how nonchalantly he states that Inuyasha can feel free to brag about how he saved his useless behind, Miroku’s hypocrisy, Sango’s pathetic behind, and Kagome’s selfishness as well as pettiness. This is especially horrible for Shippou, considering that he and the other three losers were trapped in Garamaru’s cocoons, thus making Inuyasha fight tooth and nail to get them out of there. While inside Garamaru’s cocoons, the four losers were treated to their own traumatizing nightmares until Inuyasha reminded them that they had a lot more to live for. Instead of genuinely thanking Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Kagome, and Shippou acted like nothing more than a gaggle of liars, hypocrites, mountebanks, and deceivers. Shippou’s line of letting Inuyasha “brag” when he was telling the gospel truth made him nothing more than a vindictive ingrate without any shame, humility, modesty, and compassion in his puny body. What correlates with Shippou’s ungratefulness, ingratitude, and general deficiency in showing any sliver of thankfulness is his pride which turns into pathetic cowardice. He thinks he is this great trickster and warrior, but he is all talk and no action. The little actions he has are poorly executed attacks and transformations that have become nothing more than jokes, and I do not mean that in a positive light. I understand that he is supposed to be the comic relief character, but I found nothing hilarious or charming about his vindictiveness and douchebag attitude toward Inuyasha or anybody who he thinks is beneath him. His very young age should never excuse him for such meanness let alone cruelty towards anybody he thinks is beneath him. Even when he thinks he is capable of fighting on his own, his true colors show that he is nothing but a coward with no guts and no glory. The many occasions where Inuyasha saves him may as well be all for naught because all Shippou has learned from Miroku, Sango, and Kagome is how to take advantage of Inuyasha’s strength and loyalty to make him look and sound like a fool. The more Shippou’s utter lack of gratitude becomes more pronounced, the more putrid he truly is as a character and as an individual. There is nothing to root for or to cheer for about how awfully he behaves, especially towards Inuyasha who has been saving his and his so-called companions’ behinds from danger while taking pot-shots at him. He has no right to state that Inuyasha can brag all he wants because it is true that he has been risking his life for their petulant selfishness, specifically when Shippou is the worst of the bunch, given his condescension and total lack of empathy towards anything Inuyasha had to endure. Shippou being the tagalong child does not excuse him for his awful behavior, and he should be punished accordingly. A light sentence would have Eikichi Onizuka from Great Teacher Onizuka give him a wedgie and spank him with a ruler to teach him some manners. As for a graver punishment, I would gladly permit the Psycho Rangers from Power Rangers in Space and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy to hunt him down, exterminate him, mutilate him, and mount him as one of their trophies. I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and do not be an ungrateful brat like Shippou is everybody. Demotivational Poster: Shippou 1

This screenshot demotivational poster is highly, utterly, indubitably, and absolutely Anti-Shippou. Sit back, relax, and revel in the unbridled yet deserved rage I have for this pathetic pinhead. Before any of you Shippou fans, defenders, devotees, and admirers go all out and proclaim that I am heartlessly bashing a little kid for no reason, please hear me out before you get all riled up and upset. Shippou’s behavior throughout the course of the Inuyasha series was never excusable. I am aware that he was a child who lost his father, but the fact that he lacked any gratitude to Inuyasha for avenging his father’s death from Hiten and Manten aka The Thunder Brothers just shows me that this little turd is not worthy of my respect or compassion. He is more worthy of my rage and disapproval because of how loathsomely horrid he has been towards Inuyasha and thinks he is above him just because he is a Kitsune or full fox demon. Aside from his tricks which fail on more than one occasion, he is not really a strong fighter and has to rely on Inuyasha’s strength to save him. Even when Inuyasha saves him and his loser “companions” nearly every single time, Shippou still shows ingratitude and vindictiveness towards him. Therefore, I am not sorry when I say that this pathetic turd should be chopped into pieces. Back then when I was in my young teenage years of 13 to 14 years old in middle school about to make it to high school, I really did try to like Shippou as a character. He seemed crafty and fun-loving, and he had moments where he can develop his skills as a fighter, as evidenced in his scrap with Gon, Bun, and Ken in Episode 88. However, as I watched him more critically, I learned to accept that Shippou was nothing more than a pathetic, self-absorbed, loathsome, and putrid ingrate. I am aware that Inuyasha is rough on him on multiple occasions, but that is because Shippou cannot keep his big mouth shut when it comes to Inuyasha’s weaknesses, troubles, and issues he has had growing up. Furthermore, Shippou was not careful of the arena he found himself in when it came to Inuyasha’s difficult and tragic past with Kikyou, which he was not over with and still haunts him. What is worse is that Shippou chooses to side with Kagome and her pathetic feelings, instead of understanding where Inuyasha came from. But no. Shippou was just nothing more than a cowardly loser lacking in empathy and understanding. Speaking of Shippou’s big mouth, that is another issue I had with this dastardly turd hole. He can talk the talk all he wants, but he barely walks the walk when it comes to using his powers let alone developing them. All his fox magic is good for is overpowering weaker enemies and not helping out his allies in the grander scheme of things. Once again, the excuse of him being just a child is completely null and void with me. Compare Shippou to other kid characters who can fight well such as Chibiusa from the Sailor Moon franchise, Amy from the Soul Calibur franchise, Ed from Cowboy Bebop, and Cody from The Rescuers Down Under and you will realize just how much Shippou fails. Shippou may seem resourceful and clever, but he abuses that cleverness at Inuyasha’s expense and his own gratification. There were even occasions where he lets out his big mouth at inopportune moments and is a risk to Inuyasha’s well-being whenever he finds himself in battle, specifically when it came to his battle with Kagura. If I were Shippou, I would have just known when to keep my big mouth shut for good and for all. Shippou’s horrible attitude just makes me want to scream at him in all of my wraths because of how maltreats Inuyasha and thinks he is above everybody when he is nothing more than a pathetic loser. For somebody like him who has the potential to improve his fox magic and tricks in battle, this turdy excuse of a Kitsune is ultimately pathetic and has all of my pity. His vindictiveness towards Inuyasha has always been grating, and he has done nothing but annoyance and condescension towards him, thus making me want to impale Shippou with a spear on his back and chop him with a cleaver. When it comes to Inuyasha’s tragic past with Kikyou, Shippou does not empathize with him, for he himself dealt with loss, and only sides with Kagome because her pathetic feelings seem to be more important than what Inuyasha endured. Worst of all, Shippou is barely reliable in battle, as his big mouth compensates for what little strength and skill he has with his poor excuse of fox magic. If ever I can brand somebody as the biggest loser bastard of all time, it has to be Shippou. Bar none. I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and never be as loathsome as Shippou, everybody. The Lousy, Badmouthing, and Horrid Jackass from Inuyasha belongs to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.
