Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. After much more reflection and revising the line-ups of various Inurangers teams, I present you with the revised Inurangers version of “Forever Red.” As always, there are eleven Red Inurangers in total as opposed to the real-life counterpart’s ten. This time Takeshi Sendo from Hajime no Ippo shall remain as the Inuranger version of Aurico the Red Alien Ranger, while Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic shall remain as the Inuranger version of Alex Drake the Red Shadow Time Force Ranger. The rest of the Red Inurangers will remain the same. Thus, unlike the real-life “Forever Red”, which has an all-male team-up, the Inuranger version of “Forever Red” has nine male Red Inurangers Inuyasha, Takeshi, Alexander, Ryoma, Ichiro, Kiibo, Kurz, Baki, and Ippo and two female Red Inurangers Toran and Mika. Inuyasha is still the face and the driving force of the Inurangers much like Tommy Oliver is and, thus, leads his fellow Red Inurangers against the Demon Beast Empire consisting of Chokyukai, Suzaku, Genbu, Byakko, and Seiryu. Furthermore, Kimiaki Shirai and Masayuki Haitani from Love Hina, who are the Inurangers’ version of Bulk and Skull, give the phone to Inuyasha for him to assemble the rest of the Red Rangers. Despite Inuyasha being technically akin to Jason Lee Scott in terms of leadership, it is Toran who inherits Jason’s rougher edge and his iconic line of the team not being complete without her as Inuyasha’s replacement. She would even call Ippo the rookie of the team. Yes, Toran is the Red Zeo Inuranger just like Tommy is during his tenure in Power Rangers Zeo. However, she acts more like Jason in the sense that she is the lancer with an edge in this all-Red Ranger team-up. Much like how Jason jokes about Tommy kissing Kimberly in the juice bar, Toran also jokes about Inuyasha saying that he may have done all the work as the original Inuranger leader, but he was also kissing Ayame after their missions. Toran works greatly as a lancer to Inuyasha’s main hero/leader/mentor figure because of how well they can bounce off of each other as fellow Red Inurangers. Inuyasha’s experience as the main hero and leader and Toran’s edge as the lancer complement each other perfectly. With that said, you know what time it is. It’s Morphin’ Time! Shift into Turbo! Let’s Rocket! Go Galactic! Lightspeed Rescue! Time for Time Force! Quantum Power! Wild Access! Red Rangers unite! Forever Red: The Toonami-Era Red Inurangers Team-Up (2006) Inuyasha, the original Red Inuranger, has assembled his fellow Red Inurangers for a mission: to stop Chokyukai, Suzaku, Genbu, Byakko, and Seiryu from resurrecting Serpenterra. Ippo the Red Wild Force Inuranger and newcomer to the mission is overwhelmed by the presence of previous Red Inurangers who have also fought bravely to save the world, with some of them being leaders of their respective teams. There is going to be a lot of high-octane action and excitement when the eleven Toonami-Era Red Inurangers join forces and protect the world from the clutches of the Demon Beast Empire. Inuyasha from Inuyasha the 24-year-old Red Tyrannosaurus Ranger version of Tommy Oliver and Jason Lee Scott assuming Tommy’s leader role in Forever Red voiced by Richard Ian Cox Takeshi Sendo from Hajime no Ippo the 23-year-old Red Ronin Ranger version of Aurico voiced by Doug Erholtz Toran from Inuyasha the 24-year-old Zeo Ranger V Red version of Jason Lee Scott and Tommy Oliver assuming Jason’s lancer role in Forever Red voiced by Alison Matthews Alexander Volg Zangief from Hajime no Ippo the 23-year-old Red Lightning Turbo Ranger version of Theodore Jay “TJ” Jarvis Johnson voiced by Dave Wittenberg Mika Seido from Geneshaft the 22-year-old Red Space Ranger version of Andros voiced by Amanda Winn Lee Ryoma Sakamoto from Shura no Toki the 24-year-old Red Galaxy Ranger version of Leo Corbett voiced by Marc Diraison Ichiro Miyata from Hajime no Ippo the 22-year-old Red Lightspeed Rescue Ranger version of Carter Grayson voiced by Jason Palmer Kiichi “Kiibo” Miyazawa from Shootfighter Tekken the 23-year-old Red Time Force Ranger version of Wesley “Wes” Collins voiced by Michael Sinterniklaas Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic the 24-year-old Red Shadow Time Force Ranger version of Alex Drake voiced by Vic Mignogna Baki Hanma from Baki the Grappler the 24-year-old Quantum Time Force Ranger version of Eric Myers voiced by Robert McCollum Ippo Makunouchi from Hajime no Ippo the 22-year-old Red Blazing Lion Ranger version of Cole Evans voiced by Steve Staley There you have it, ladies and gentlemen, the revised Red Inuranger style line-up of “Forever Red.” Tune in later for the revised Inuranger-style morphing sequence of “Forever Red” as well as its epilogue as two separate submissions. Take care, stay safe, and may the power protect you, everybody.

Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything from the early 1990s to the early 2000s, Antoni here. I am excited to proceed with the post-Zordon Inuranger team-ups of the Toonami era. There is a lot to revise and unpack from here. Furthermore, Turbo is not the only series that gets away with two Blue Rangers. Lost Galaxy has two Pink Rangers, while Time Force has three Red Rangers. As a reminder, in my Inurangers AU headcanon, I decided to make the Inurangers version of Kendrix Morgan, Kaoru Ichinose from Detective School Q, the Pink Seraph Galaxy Ranger complete with wings on her back and heels like a combination of Hermes and a seraph. If Kendrix had managed to maintain her Galaxy powers in the afterlife, she would have ended up in that Ranger suit, which would have increased her overall power of heavenly light. Her costume design rich in celestial symbolism serves as a counterbalance to the earthier, more bull-like design of the Magna Defender. The Inurangers version of Karone, Cheza from Wolf’s Rain, on the other hand, shall maintain her normal Pink Galaxy Ranger suit after ending her villainous tenure as Black Rose Cheza from Inurangers in Space. Meanwhile, the Inurangers version of Alex Drake, Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic, shall be the Red Shadow Time Force Ranger and will be the main pilot of the Time Shadow Zord with a darker shade of red on his suit. The Inurangers versions of Eric Myers and Wes Collins, Baki Hanma from Baki the Grappler and Kiichi “Kiibo” Miyazawa from Shootfighter Tekken, shall still have the same normal shades of red in their suits like their real-life counterparts. After this, I will revise the line-up for the Inurangers version of “Forever Red.” Therefore, I hope all of these clarifications are understood. With all of that said, let us not waste any more time and get the remainder of these Toonami-era Inurangers teams from the post-Zordon seasons. Let’s Rocket! Go Galactic! Lightspeed Rescue! Time for Time Force! Quantum Power! Wild Access! Inurangers Lost Galaxy: “To the Fourteenth Power” The Space/Galaxy Inurangers Team-Up (2003) The seven Psycho Inurangers consisting of Rizelle from Chrono Crusade as Psycho Red, Kouga from Inuyasha as Psycho Green, Hiten from Inuyasha as Psycho Silver, Bankotsu from Inuyasha as Psycho Black, Lyra from Fullmetal Alchemist as Psycho Blue, Shader from Chrono Crusade as Psycho Yellow, and Ryomo Shimei from Ikki Tousen as Psycho Pink strike again. Lord Darcia III’s and Cheza’s initial creations during the latter’s tenure as Black Rose Cheza are resurrected by Sousuke Aizen from Bleach, the Inurangers version of Deviot. She is horrified to know that the Psycho Inurangers have been resurrected and does her part to stop them, just as Ryoma and Mika try to destroy Rizelle. Even Ryomo does her part in taunting Cheza for her errors. Just as the seven Psycho Inurangers are about to decimate the seven Galaxy Inurangers, the seven Space Inurangers join in the battle. In this version, even Kisuke and Mitsuhide participate in making this team-up amount to fourteen space-themed Inurangers. Ryoma Sakamoto from Shura no Toki the 21-year-old Red Galaxy Ranger version of Leo Corbett voiced by Marc Diraison Mika Seido from Geneshaft the 19-year-old Red Space Ranger version of Andros voiced by Amanda Winn Lee Shinosuke from Inuyasha the 22-year-old Black Galaxy Magna Defender Ranger version of Mike Corbett voiced by Trevor Devall Kisuke from Inuyasha the 22-year-old Emerald Space Ranger version of Adam Park voiced by Colin Murdock Mitsuhide Kuroda from Shootfighter Tekken the 22-year-old Silver Space Ranger version of Zhane voiced by Tom Wayland Tatsuya Kimura from Hajime no Ippo the 21-year-old Blue Galaxy Ranger version of Kai Chen voiced by Grant George Masaru Aoki from Hajime no Ippo the 21-year-old Black Space Ranger version of Carlos Vallerte voiced by Stephen Apostollina Akemi Takaishi from Shootfighter Tekken the 17-year-old Green Galaxy Ranger version of Damon Henderson voiced by Rachael Lillis Takako Kawashima from Shootfighter Tekken the 18-year-old Blue Space Ranger version of Theodore Jay “TJ” Jarvis Johnson voiced by Michele Knotz Rose Anderson from Solty Rei the 16-year-old Yellow Galaxy Ranger version of Maya voiced by Colleen Clinkenbeard Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist the 15-year-old Yellow Space Ranger version of Ashley Hammond voiced by Caitlin Glass Kaoru Ichinose from Detective School Q the 14-year-old Pink Galaxy Heavenly Seraph Ranger version of Kendrix Morgan voiced by Monica Rial Cheza from Wolf’s Rain the 14-year-old Pink Galaxy Ranger version of Karone voiced by Sherry Lynn Solty Revant from Solty Rei the 14-year-old Pink Space Ranger version of Cassie Chan voiced by Carrie Savage Inurangers Lost Galaxy: “The Power of Pink” The Space/Galaxy Inurangers Team-Up (2003) Rizelle, Kouga, Hiten, Bankotsu, Lyra, and Shader may have been defeated, but Ryomo is not down for the count yet. As the Inurangers version of Psycho Pink, she has her Savage Sword on standby. Cheza manages to destroy Ryomo with her Transdagger. However, the Savage Sword is still bent on destroying the world. Kaoru uses her Quasar Saber to destroy it but at a cost. She transcends the flesh, yet she continues to be a visible spirit thanks to her Pink Heavenly Seraph powers. Unlike Kendrix, Kaoru does not end up going to the next world. She still fights alongside her teammates as a spirit and ensures Cheza that she will continue to fight by her side as a fellow Pink Ranger. Ryoma Sakamoto from Shura no Toki the 21-year-old Red Galaxy Ranger version of Leo Corbett voiced by Marc Diraison Mika Seido from Geneshaft the 19-year-old Red Space Ranger version of Andros voiced by Amanda Winn Lee Shinosuke from Inuyasha the 22-year-old Black Galaxy Magna Defender Ranger version of Mike Corbett voiced by Trevor Devall Kisuke from Inuyasha the 22-year-old Emerald Space Ranger version of Adam Park voiced by Colin Murdock Mitsuhide Kuroda from Shootfighter Tekken the 22-year-old Silver Space Ranger version of Zhane voiced by Tom Wayland Tatsuya Kimura from Hajime no Ippo…
Greetings and salutations, fellow aficionados of anime, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and everything early 1990s to early 2000s, Antoni here. With the Halloween season fast approaching and with some updates to my anime martial arts teams AU headcanon being the ones I am most satisfied with, I turn my attention to another anime multiverse AU headcanon that has been close to my heart, mind, and soul: the Inurangers AU headcanon universe. This is the case of the fictional counterpart to the real-life original Saban era of the Power Rangers franchise, which is the Inurangers’ Toonami era. Since I love Power Rangers unconditionally, it is time to give the original Toonami teams a good makeover. Granted, the original Mighty Morphin’ Inurangers will still be the same as they have always been. However, there will be slighter changes for the other teams, as I was not satisfied with the updated version I did over seven months ago. The same protocol applies to how the teams are arranged. There shall be seven members per Inuranger team and will be strictly arranged according to the following schemes: the five-male-member/two-female-member scheme and the three-male-member/four-female-member scheme. As always, each team lineup shall have seven main members: the Red Ranger, the Sixth Ranger, the Seventh Ranger, the Black/Blue Ranger, the Blue/Green Ranger, the Yellow Ranger, and the Pink Ranger. All three seasons of Mighty Morphin Inurangers, Inurangers Turbo, and Inurangers Time Force shall have five male members and two female members. Meanwhile, Mighty Ronin Inurangers, Inurangers Zeo, Inurangers in Space, Inurangers Lost Galaxy, Inurangers Lightspeed Rescue, and Inurangers Wild Force shall have three male members and four female members. All three seasons of Mighty Morphin Inurangers will have the same cast members all the way through, as there are also composite characters, while the subsequent Inurangers seasons will have different characters just like the real-life Super Sentai counterparts. With that said, let us get acquainted with the new, improved, and way clearer version of the Toonami-Era Inuranger teams’ lineups. It’s Morphin’ Time! Shift into Turbo! Let’s rocket! Go galactic! Greetings, anime fans, martial arts aficionados, fighting game devotees, and enthusiasts of all things about anime, martial arts, video games, and fighting tournaments. Antoni here with another written entry. This has been a long time in the making since I finished writing my Master’s Thesis over three weeks ago. Since I started making that lovely present for my dear friend and one of my most loyal watchers, Jeffrey Quick aka Ginga1122, last year, I thought it would be grand to provide a more updated version of the fourteen anime martial arts teams training Dudley and Daisy. I promise that this revised version shall be a lot more exciting, considering the more updated choices I have for a great chunk of the martial arts teams. Besides, Dudley x Daisy has remained top of mind as my most beloved T.U.F.F. Puppy one true pairing of all time. As always, I have placed Dudley’s and Daisy’s human ages on show. Furthermore, they will learn the signature techniques from each individual group member and will be divided into weeks according to the groups. I am going to town with this version this time. So, I hope you all sit back, relax, and enjoy this more updated version. Tokyo, Japan. May 17, 2014, the date which the second season’s twenty-sixth episode “Girlfriend or Foe?” aired on the Nicktoons Network. 26-year-old Dudley Puppy and his 24-year-old wife, Daisy Spaniel-Puppy, were enthusiastic to set foot in Tokyo for fourteen weeks of totally intense martial arts immersion. Joining them were their seven children: 4-year-old twin sons Damien Callum Puppy and Darren Carlton Puppy, 3-year-old triplet sons Dennis Edward Puppy, David Elmer Puppy, and Devon Ezekiel Puppy; and 2-year-old twin daughters Dorothy Grace Puppy and Dominique Glory Puppy. The Puppy family arranged for their driver to travel around the various locales they were training in. The driver in question was Totosai, who was old but was still sufficiently active to drive the Puppy family around, babysit the Puppy offspring, and tend to Dudley and Daisy if they found themselves in physical pain from their intense training. Totosai showed them their apartment complete with a huge kitchen, a bathroom downstairs and another upstairs, and a spacious room fit for the whole Puppy family. The room also included a twin bed for Damien and Darren; a triplet bed for Dennis, David, and Devon; and a twin bed for Dorothy and Dominique on one side of the room and a queen-sized bed for Dudley and Daisy on the other side of the room. Totosai also had his own bedroom downstairs, given that he was the Puppy family’s chauffeur and caretaker during their fourteen weeks in Tokyo. The Puppy family settled into their new apartment with bags unpacked and itineraries prepared for fourteen weeks of intense martial arts training. Damien, Darren, Dennis, David, Devon, Dorothy, and Dominique were still very young toddlers trying out the techniques that their parents would learn. Nevertheless, they were prepared to absorb new skills that would assist them in their growth as combatants. As Dudley and Daisy were agents and combat specialists for the Turbo Undercover Fighting Force or T.U.F.F. for short, they were ecstatic to see that their little children wanted to be just as proficient as they were in combat. They even agreed to let their children start young for them to be just as immersed as they were, with Totosai lending his watchful eye to them. Time waited for nobody. Dudley and Daisy prepared their bodies, minds, and souls for highly intense training, while their children were going to participate and root for their parents. The journey has just begun in learning various techniques while trying to remain in one piece. Week 1- The Splendid Seven of Nerima: Feral Beasts on a Roaring Rampage (Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran) Dudley’s and Daisy’s first mentors were a septet of ferocious Yokai martial arts warriors renowned for their feral brutality in international martial arts tournaments. They were the platonic duo Sesshoumaru and Shuran, the power couple Inuyasha and Ayame, and the gorgeous throuple Hakkaku, Shunran, and Ginta. They were excited to train under them, as their children heard stories about Sesshoumaru’s cold deadliness, Shuran’s rampaging brutishness, Inuyasha’s muscular strength, Hakkaku’s undying stealth, Ginta’s unwavering stamina, Ayame’s determined ferocity, and Shunran’s sharp accuracy. They were even renowned for triumphing against opponents bigger and stronger than they were, such as the case of their epic win in the Winter 2004 Austrian Alps martial arts tournament against Ulrich Wernerstein and his bodybuilder goons. The Splendid Seven’s reputation for being seven fearsome Yokai martial arts warriors was about to be put to the extreme test and would end up putting Dudley and Daisy in a world of pain and pandemonium. Nevertheless, they were prepared to learn to overcome even the fiercest and scariest of opponents. Day 1- Mixed Martial Arts plus Vale Tudo, Luta Livre, Huka-Huka, Modern Pankration, Pancrase, Combat Sambo, and Catch Wrestling with 33-year-old Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha (Hell’s Gate submission holds) Day 2- Professional Wrestling plus Sumo Wrestling, Lutte Traditionelle, Gidigbo, Malla-yuddha, Pehlwani, Boli Khela, and Mongolian Wrestling with 32-year-old Shuran from Inuyasha (Canadian backbreaker racks) Day 3- Ancient Greek Wrestling plus Shoot Wrestling, Kapu Kuialua, Ancient Pankration, Ssireum, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, and Folkstyle Wrestling with 32-year-old Inuyasha from Inuyasha (sharpshooters) Day 4- Muay Boran plus Lerdrit, Bokator, Muay Lao, Muay Korat, Muay Chaiya, Muay Lopburi, and Muay Thasao with 31-year-old Hakkaku from Inuyasha (spine-lock takedowns) Day 5- Lethwei plus Bokator, Lerdrit, Muay Lao, Muay Thasao, Muay Lopburi, Muay Korat, and Muay Chaiya with 31-year-old Ginta from Inuyasha (neck-snap takedowns) Day 6- Xtreme Gladiator Kickboxing plus Shooto, Shootfighting, Shoot Boxing, Draka Kickboxing, Kyuk Too Ki, Muay Thai, and Pradal Serey with 29-year-old Ayame from Inuyasha (ground-and-pounds) Day 7- Sanda plus Dutch Kickboxing, Japanese Kickboxing, American Kickboxing, Wing Chun, Bajiquan, Baguazhang, and Changquan with 28-year-old Shunran from Inuyasha (sprawl-and-brawls) Week 2- The Stupendously Stellar Septenary of Shinjuku: Devastating Missiles on Fire (Kurz, Masaru,…
Greetings, anime fans, martial arts aficionados, fighting game devotees, and enthusiasts of all things about anime, martial arts, video games, and fighting tournaments. Antoni here with another written entry. I know I already made a previous entry regarding my fourteen teams each consisting of seven anime characters practicing various martial arts barely three months ago. While, I was satisfied with a majority of the martial arts choices I gave to them, there were some issues. First, a couple of the team-ups no longer made sense in hindsight. Secondly, I thought it would be better to switch up some of the martial arts per practitioner. Third, there are also some names that must be changed. As you can tell from the title, this is the last time I will make these important changes and find myself more satisfied with the line-up arranged. As always, the drill is that I list down the teams, the members, their martial arts styles, birthdays, and current ages. I’ve also changed some of the birthdays, since I was also not that satisfied with some of them. These changes will make me feel a lot more at ease combined with a heightened sense of joy. With that said, let’s get ready to rumble once again! Osu! Hajime! The Splendid Seven (Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran) The arena resounds in triumph and enthrallment when two mighty dog yokai warrior brothers in Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, three spiky-haired yokai warrior brothers in Shuran, Hakkaku, and Ginta, and two auburn-haired yokai warrior sisters in Ayame and Shunran enter the arena. They are always felicitated to provide their rivals with a one-way ticket to perilous pandemonium. Sesshoumaru’s Hell’s Gate submission holds, Shuran’s Canadian backbreaker racks, Inuyasha’s sharpshooters, Hakkaku’s spine-lock takedowns, Ginta’s neck-snap takedowns, Ayame’s ground-and-pounds, and Shunran’s sprawl-and-brawls cause fatal and collateral damage to their opponents. Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha– Mixed Martial Arts with a background in Vale Tudo, Luta Livre, Huka-Huka, Modern Pankration, Pancrase, Combat Sambo, and Catch Wrestling; March 17, 1981; 43 years old Shuran from Inuyasha– Professional Wrestling with a background in Sumo Wrestling, Lutte Traditionelle, Gidigbo, Malla-yuddha, Pehlwani, Boli Khela, and Mongolian Wrestling; March 1, 1982; 42 years old Inuyasha from Inuyasha– Ancient Greek Wrestling with a background in Shoot Wrestling, Kapu Kuialua, Ancient Pankration, Ssireum, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, and Folkstyle Wrestling; March 9, 1982; 42 years old Hakkaku from Inuyasha– Muay Boran with a background in Lerdrit, Bokator, Muay Lao, Muay Korat, Muay Chaiya, Muay Lopburi, and Muay Thasao; March 22, 1983; 41 years old Ginta from Inuyasha– Lethwei with a background in Bokator, Lerdrit, Muay Lao, Muay Thasao, Muay Lopburi, Muay Korat, and Muay Chaiya; March 29, 1983; 41 years old Ayame from Inuyasha– Xtreme Gladiator Kickboxing with a background in Shooto, Shootfighting, Shoot Boxing, Draka Kickboxing, Kyuk Too Ki, Muay Thai, and Pradal Serey; February 7, 1985; 39 years old Shunran from Inuyasha– Sanda with a background in Dutch Kickboxing, Japanese Kickboxing, American Kickboxing, Wing Chun, Bajiquan, Baguazhang, and Changquan; February 14, 1986; 38 years old The Stupendously Stellar Septenary (Kurz, Masaru, Tatsuya, Ichise, Kiba, Ran, and Cheza) The stakes in combat and viewer spectatorship shall increase when Kurz Weber, Masaru Aoki, and Tatsuya Kimura exude formidable fortitude; Ichise and Kiba demonstrate lethal determination, and Ran and Cheza exercise focused accuracy to triumph over any competition in the arena. Their rivals will know neither sleep nor peace when these seven formidable combatants give them a piece of their minds. Kurz’s body avalanches, Masaru’s double axe handles, Tatsuya’s flying body scissors, Ichise’s rear-naked chokes, Kiba’s triangle chokes, Ran’s leopard blows, and Cheza’s tiger claw strikes can make their opponents pay a terrible price for underestimating their combat prowess and skills. Kurz Weber from Full Metal Panic– Vale Tudo; April 1, 1982; 42 years old Masaru Aoki from Hajime no Ippo– Luta Livre; September 9, 1982; 42 years old Tatsuya Kimura from Hajime no Ippo– Huka-Huka; October 10, 1982; 42 years old Ichise from Texhnolyze– Shooto; February 11, 1984; 40 years old Kiba from Wolf’s Rain– Shootfighting; November 24, 1984; 40 years old Ran from Texhnolyze– Wing Chun; April 12, 1989; 35 years old Cheza from Wolf’s Rain– Bajiquan; April 22, 1989; 35 years old The Superbly Sweeping Septet (Mario, Atsunobu, Ryuichi, Hiroto, Kintaro, Ayu, and Nina) Martial arts fanatics and casual viewers combined better prepare themselves when Mario Musicanova and Atsunobu Hayashimizu exhibit their accurate thoroughness; Ryuichi Hayami, Hiroto Amagiwa, and Kintaro Toyama win over the crowd with their charismatic charm, and Ayu and Nina flaunt their peerless physical flexibility. Physically stronger and more skilled rivals would marvel at how superbly their capabilities excel their imaginations. Mario’s European uppercuts, Atsunobu’s elbow smashes, Ryuichi’s elbow drops, Hiroto’s forearm clubs, Kintaro’s guillotine chokes, Ayu’s eagle claw strikes, and Nina’s crane beak strikes make their opponents flee in terror for their lives. Mario Musicanova from Geneshaft– Modern Pankration; December 26, 1982; 42 years old Atsunobu Hayashimizu from Full Metal Panic– Pancrase; April 19, 1983; 41 years old Ryuichi Hayami from Hajime no Ippo– Combat Sambo; December 23, 1983; 41 years old Hiroto Amagiwa from Geneshaft– Catch Wrestling; March 12, 1984; 40 years old Kintaro Toyama from Detective School Q– Shoot Boxing; November 28, 1984; 40 years old Ayu Tateishi from Ultra Maniac– Baguazhang; May 21, 1989; 35 years old Nina Sakura from Ultra Maniac– Changquan; May 31, 1989; 35 years old The Iron Brawn Emperors (Yoshiki, Mamoru, Kuranosuke, Tsume, Mitsuhide, Kisuke, and Shinosuke) Massively magnificent muscles bulging like mountain ranges and victorious virility to match their bulging muscles are the attributes that bring Yoshiki Takaishi, Mamoru Takamura, Kuranosuke Takeda, Tsume, Mitsuhide Kuroda, Kisuke, and Shinosuke to triumph against much stronger rivals as warlord emperor wrestlers. These seven musclebound emperor wrestlers also possess earth-shaking roars that make gorillas, lions, and tyrannosaurus rexes blush. Yoshiki’s vertebreakers, Mamoru’s burning hammers, Kuranosuke’s brainbusters, Tsume’s powerbombs, Mitsuhide’s piledrivers, Kisuke’s Canadian destroyers, and Shinosuke’s shooting star presses annihilate their opponents. Yoshiki Takaishi from Shootfighter Tekken– Sumo Wrestling;…
Greetings, anime fans, martial arts aficionados, fighting game devotees, and enthusiasts of all things about anime, martial arts, video games, and fighting tournaments. Antoni here with another written entry. It is no secret that I revel in my fourteen seven-anime-character martial arts team AU headcanon, as I have been developing this concept since a year ago. However, this concept has been tried and tested from childhood to adolescence to adulthood. From 1998 to 2009, I have been traveling with my family and by myself on a couple of occasions to various locales, encountered different television stations, and played a good chunk of fighting video games. Cebu and Manila in the Philippines; Oxford, England in the United Kingdom; Hong Kong; New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, California, Florida, North Carolina, and Hawaii in the United States of America were among the many destinations my family and I traveled to, especially when it came to searching for anime that I still hold dearly to this day. Whenever I tuned in to ABS-CBN, Adult Swim, Animax, The Anime Network, AXN, Cartoon Network, the Funimation Channel, GMA-7, Hero TV, QTV, RPN 9, Studio 23, Solar TV, Toonami, and even on YouTube, I have always kept my mind open to the characters I enjoyed the most and delved into a lot of the fan-related discourse on various anime and pop-culture magazines. Bulking this passion for anime with fighting video games I played on Play Station 1, 2, and 3 as well as in the arcades such as Tekken, Street Fighter, Mortal Combat, and King of Fighters also helped to feed the ever-burning flame. All of this led me to create the pipe dream of wanting to be a voice actor for anime and video games and even want to go the direction of announcing, being the performing arts aficionado I have always been. However, I am glad to have taken a more objective route with the visual media I care for the most in written-discourse and video-review forms. Cutting this long prelude short, I want to thank my family and extended family from the Philippines to the United Kingdom to the United States of America to Canada to various parts of the world for encouraging me to be open-minded, passionate, and maintain high interest in anime, martial arts, and fighting video games. I owe it to each and every one of you for giving me the drive and determination to create my anime martial arts teams AU headcanon. This anime fan-related AU headcanon concept has been on the backburner for over two decades, especially since I started to become a full-fledged anime fan as a 12-year-old sixth grader in 2004. Now that I am a 32-year-old man about to finish my Master’s in American Studies degree in a couple of months, I am more determined as ever to cherish my anime martial arts teams AU headcanon and learn a lot about the martial arts I have been providing to the anime characters I have always enjoyed on the small screen. While I truly revel in my fourteen seven-anime character martial arts teams AU headcanon, I realized that some of the team-ups did not make sense in hindsight. Granted, I am still happy and satisfied with a good number of the team-ups. However, some of them must have the switch-up treatment. This has also extended to some of the martial arts I gave to a good number of them, which did not hold up as well as I thought it did. After much reflection, reassessment, and rethinking, I present you the fourteen anime martial arts teams I have formulated consisting of seven anime characters per team. The selected characters come from Inuyasha, Baki the Grappler, Shura no Toki, Shootfighter Tekken, Hajime no Ippo, Fullmetal Alchemist, Solty Rei, Ultra Maniac, Wolf’s Rain, Texhnolyze, Geneshaft, Chrono Crusade, Samurai 7, Kiddy Grade, Hungry Heart, Full Metal Panic, GetBackers, and Cardcaptor Sakura. Some of the martial arts choices I have come up for some of the characters might seem bizarre and contradictory to some of the anime series’ canon universes. Nonetheless, I can roll with those choices and thrive at them with all of my being. Furthermore, I am arranging the team members from oldest to youngest that include their main martial arts, their birthdays, and their ages as of 2024. With that said, let’s get ready to rumble and may this be a full house in the anime martial arts tournament arena. Osu! Hajime! The Splendid Seven (Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran) The arena resounds in triumph and majesty when Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran take center stage. Opponents would be foolish to trounce two dog yokai brothers in Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, three spiky-haired yokai brothers in Shuran, Hakkaku, and Ginta, and two auburn-haired sisters in Ayame and Shunran. Sesshoumaru’s German suplexes, Shuran’s torture racks, Inuyasha’s piledrivers, Hakkaku’s upward headbutts, Ginta’s downward headbutts, Ayame’s elbow slashes, and Shunran’s leopard blows can cause collateral damage to their opponents and leave them half-dead. Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha– Mixed Martial Arts with a background in Vale Tudo, Kapu Kuialua, Folkstyle Wrestling, Pancrase, Combat Sambo, Catch Wrestling, and Huka-Huka; April 30, 1981; 43 years old Shuran from Inuyasha– Professional Wrestling with a background in Sumo Wrestling, Lutte Traditionelle, Gidigbo, Malla-yuddha, Pehlwani, Boli Khela, and Mongolian Wrestling; March 12, 1981; 42 years old Inuyasha from Inuyasha– Ancient Greek Wrestling with a background in Ancient Pankration, Modern Pankration, Luta Livre, Ssireum, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, and Shoot Wrestling; April 1, 1982; 42 years old Hakkaku from Inuyasha– Muay Boran with a background in Lerdrit, Bokator, Muay Lao, Muay Korat, Muay Chaiya, Muay Lopburi, and Muay Thasao; May 13, 1983; 41 years old Ginta from Inuyasha– Lethwei with a background in Bokator, Lerdrit, Muay Lopburi, Muay Lao, Muay Thasao, Muay Korat, and Muay Chaiya; May 15, 1983; 41 years old Ayame from Inuyasha– Xtreme Gladiator Kickboxing with a background in Shooto, Shootfighting, Shoot Boxing, Draka Kickboxing, Kyuk Too Ki, Muay…
Happy Sixth DeviantArt Anniversary to me, ladies and gentlemen. I know I was supposed to post this yesterday. However, as you can tell, InuAya month continued to be in full swing. This is also evident in the fanart collage I have created when I started InuAya month two years ago and continued to observe April as the month dedicated to one of my most beloved OTPs ever. Therefore, I invite you to sit back, relax, take a stroll down memory lane with me, and celebrate the six years I have been here at DeviantArt. There is no doubt that my time on DeviantArt has been filled with ups, downs, fans, trolls, friends, enemies, and a whole bunch of netizens present here and outside DeviantArt for better and for worse. However, one attribute remains evergreen which is my passion and devotion to Inuyasha x Ayame as my cherished one true pairing not only in the Inuyasha franchise as well as all of anime but also in all of fandom. I have been a devoted partisan to this pairing since I was a teenager because I believed that there was potential for Inuyasha and Ayame to be a mighty power couple strong enough to defeat a horde of opponents in martial arts tournaments and protect their family and fellow tribespeople from invaders. Even in my teens, I was never satisfied with the canon pairings Inuyasha and Ayame received. I have already made my reasons clear as to why their respective canon pairings never worked in my eyes, even if the canon devotees do not want to listen or think I am bashing the canon pairings. Nevertheless, I chose to exercise my right to uphold Inuyasha and Ayame as one of my favorite power couples ever. Throughout my time drawing Inuyasha x Ayame fanart and delving into discourses in terms of the potential they have as a power couple, I have been toying with ideas in store for them. One of the ideas I had in store was my Mighty Morphin Inurangers AU headcanon. No doubt did I enjoy casting Inuyasha as the Red Tyrannosaurus Inuranger version of Tommy Oliver and Jason Lee Scott and Ayame as the Yellow Saber-Toothed Tiger Inuranger version of Trini Kwan and Aisha Campbell. While I always insist that Inuyasha embodies Tommy’s long-lasting legacy as the face of the Power Rangers and Jason’s original status as the Red Ranger leader and Ayame encapsulates Trini’s courageous compassion, Aisha’s warm fierceness, and even Tanya Sloan’s unstoppable graciousness, Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s power couple dynamics are reminiscent of the following Red Ranger and Yellow Ranger couples, especially in the Saban era. Inuyasha and Ayame possess Eric’s and Taylor’s military fierceness, Leo’s and Maya’s warrior strength, and Andros’s and Ashley’s warmly unconditional love with fortitude and glory as an Inuranger couple. My InuAya fanart collage illustrates that there is one other AU headcanon that propelled my admiration and fascination for Inuyasha and Ayame as a power couple. That is my anime martial arts tournament AU headcanon where a lot of the anime characters I grew up watching on television form teams of seven and possess trademark martial arts. The idea was born from my admiration of fighting games and real-life martial arts tournaments like Street Fighter, Tekken, King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Pride FC, UFC, WWE, TNA, and K1. Inuyasha and Ayame are the power couple who combine magnificent muscles, stupendous super strength, and formidable fierceness to dominate the competition. Inuyasha’s main martial art is Ancient Greek Wrestling with a background in Pankration, Ssireum, and Combat Sambo akin to Zangief and Guile, while Ayame’s main martial art is Muay Thai with a background in Kyuk Too Ki, Pradal Serey, and Muay Lao akin to Joe Higashi and Benimaru Nikaido. Given their respective fighting styles, Inuyasha and Ayame would end up winning the gold in every martial arts tournament they are in. What has always sold me about Inuyasha and Ayame as a power couple is the combination of mighty combat prowess and unconditional empowerment. I have always insisted that Inuyasha’s bulging biceps, alabaster abs, tremendous triceps, pulverizing pectorals, dominating deltoids, and crushing calf muscles complement Ayame’s furious fists, fleet feet, knockout knees, eviscerating elbows, and sharp shins to win any and every martial arts tournament. This is especially true when Inuyasha’s magnificent muscles and stupendous super-strength propel his double axe handles, tracheal grip chokes, camel clutches, German suplexes, fireman’s carries, elbow drops, and neck cranks join forces with Ayame’s Superman punches, uppercuts, jabs, hooks, flying knees, elbow slashes, and roundhouse kicks. Thus, Inuyasha’s magnificent muscles as a wrestler, bodybuilder, and weightlifter specializing in Ancient Greek Wrestling, Pankration, Ssireum, and Kapu Kuialua combine exceptionally with Ayame’s limbering limbs as a Nak Muay Ying Farang specializing in Muay Thai, Kyuk Too Ki, and Pradal Serey. Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s powerful combat prowess also has an effect on their progeny and family as a whole. I have always envisioned Inuyasha and Ayame to have an unbreakable marriage under Ayame’s grandfather’s blessings while they were still young and grow together into their old age, especially with having several children. They even end up having fourteen children, consisting of seven super-strong sons and seven determined daughters. Masataka, Masaya, and Masaru are the eldest InuAya sons who are virile weightlifters and wrestlers. Kenta and Keita are the second eldest InuAya sons who are magnificently muscular bodybuilders and wrestlers. Kazuhiko and Kaito are the third eldest InuAya sons who are handsome fitness models and wrestlers. Kiriko is the fourth-born InuAya daughter who is a fiery Muay Thai maven. Momoko, Makoto, and Mikoto are the fifth-born InuAya daughters who are tough Muay Lao winners. Maya and Minako are the sixth-born InuAya daughters who are fierce Pradal Serey champions. Meika is the seventh-born InuAya daughter who is a determined Dutch Kickboxing prizefighter. As their children grew and got married to Hakkaku’s, Ginta’s, and Shunran’s children, Inuyasha and Ayame also ended up being just as happy to be grandparents to their children’s children. Therefore,…
This “What if Person became Friends” meme originally belongs to MagicalKeyPizzaDan and is dedicated to everybody who finds the idea of Ippo and Cole being great friends, the firmest of soul brothers, and the most compassionate of comrades grand. Sit back, relax, and revel in Cole’s and Ippo’s marvelously interpersonal warmth and genuinely unconditional love as brothers from other mothers who will always have each other’s backs and whose hearts of gold will forever shine as brilliantly as ever. Cole is a Red Ranger whose heart, mind, and soul are in the right place, especially when it comes to protecting all living beings from disastrous calamities. He wears peace, compassion, respect, understanding, and servitude to other people and nature like a well-fashioned suit of tribal armor. When he takes the time to consider the next best actions as well as get to the heart of individuals’ intentions, he finds the clearest distinction between a good Samaritan who has selflessly noble intentions and a malevolent bastard who has insidiously vicious intentions. Ippo may be an Olympic-level boxer with abundant dreams and aspirations, but even he needs to learn some sobering lessons from Cole. There is no doubt that Ippo respects, admires, and adulates Cole and his sense of intuition as well as compassion for those he cares for from his friends to his family. Furthermore, Ippo would learn a ton from Cole from the importance of family and friends to respect for nature, which he would soak up exceedingly well. This comes to a head when both Cole and Ippo end up accepting each other as soul brothers for life. Cole and Ippo have a genuine brotherhood that transcends respect, camaraderie, and positive vibes, for they can encourage each other to remain noble, pure, and steadfast not only toward each other but also toward the people they care about the most. Their brotherhood would also be well-implemented in the various activities they do. Ippo’s skills as an Olympic-level boxer would challenge Cole to sharpen his combat skills and diversify his repertoire of striking attacks. Cole would impart his tribal skills to Ippo to make him a resourceful hunter, gatherer, and tracker for food as well as a true protector for his family and friends. Both of them would be just as enthusiastic as each other, considering that they are the recent additions to their respective “Forever Red” universes. Outside their Red Ranger tenure, Cole and Ippo would even express happiness, gratitude, and joy as genuine brothers forever. Cole and Ippo would even express how much they want to have a brother in their lives. This motivates Cole to affirm to Ippo that he will be the best big brother he will ever be, thus culminating in a warm embrace. I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and may the power protect you, everybody. Ippo Makunouchi from Hajime no Ippo belongs to George Morikawa and Madhouse. This “What if Person became Friends” meme originally belongs to MagicalKeyPizzaDan and is dedicated to everybody who finds the idea of Baki and Eric being great friends, the firmest of brothers-in-arms, and the sturdiest of warriors grand. Sit back, relax, and revel in Eric’s and Baki’s handsomely dynamic and exquisitely virile brotherhood that witnesses how formidable they are as warriors, comrades, and blood brothers, considering how Eric’s peerless stealth compliments Baki’s gigantic musculature. Eric is an unconventional Red Ranger renowned for his ability to lead a police force, the Silver Guardians, as the commander and plays by his own rules as the Time Force Rangers’ red-clad Quantum Ranger while also being an ally to them. His unparalleled skills in martial arts, military warfare, and police organization are highly aspirational to the point where fresh-faced trainees look to Eric as their role model. This is especially true when they want to have a vocation working with the Silver Guardians under Eric’s supervision. Baki may be a mixed martial artist who has been growing in muscle mass, super strength, and virile musculature and is renowned for these physical traits. Nevertheless, he remains awestruck when Eric presents himself as a formidable cop who takes no rubbish from anybody. To Eric, Baki initially appears to be a massively muscled yet simple-minded lummox who can only understand blows to the head and chokeholds to the throat. However, Baki proves Eric wrong when he uses his super strength, magnificent muscles, and unbeatable combat skills to stomp out criminals from violating innocent civilians. Eric and Baki have a partnership that entails combining professionalism in the field of law enforcement with unrelenting trust on a personal level. It may be astounding to have Baki hold dirty criminals using his array of chokeholds and Full Nelsons while having Eric beat the ever-loving daylights out of them before hauling their pathetic behinds to jail. Nonetheless, the excitement of seeing crime stopped in a hardcore fashion is only half of what defines Eric’s and Baki’s formidably strong bond as a duo of virile warriors. Overlooking Eric’s tough outer shell as a cop and Baki’s massively muscled frame as an all-out fighter in the ring, they both possess more sympathetic sides when it comes to protecting innocent people. Eric may not admit it, but Baki’s simple charm can get him out of his shell to show a more brotherly side. Eric can even prove to Baki that there is more to combat prowess than massive muscle power. Therefore, Eric and Baki appreciate each other for their interpersonal strength and their unwavering will to safeguard anybody in danger and will always stay loyal to each other. I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and may the power protect you, everybody. This “What if Person became Friends” meme originally belongs to MagicalKeyPizzaDan and is dedicated to everybody who finds the idea of Takeshi and Alex being great friends, super staunch comrades, and amazingly formidable brothers-in-arms grand. Sit back, relax, and revel in Alex’s and Takeshi’s magnificently potent and indubitably amazing fraternal bond as comrades-in-arms who will always challenge each other to grow as combatants and as men. Alex brims with determination, toughness, and resilience as the original Red Time Force Ranger. While he may not have participated in “Forever Red”, Alex’s firm, by-the-book approach to leadership serves as a canvas for Wes to rise as his own Red Time Force Ranger. Alex was also responsible for aiding his comrades out in battle behind the shadows from releasing Time Shadow to providing Wes with the Strata Cycle. Despite his brand of leadership being too harsh during his return, even he learns from Wes that destiny can be changed. Enter Takeshi who has taken on the mantle of being the Red Time Shadow Inuranger as a stark contrast to Alex being the original Red Time Force Ranger and also avenges Rocky DeSantos’s non-participation in “Forever Red.” Takeshi’s hot-blooded strength and unwavering fortitude as a boxer, a combatant, and even the original leader of the Time Force Inurangers have made a strong impression on Alex. Even Takeshi’s willingness to stick by his team have been nothing short of impressive in Alex’s eyes. Therefore, Alex and Takeshi form a brotherly bond that guarantees growth. Alex and Takeshi salute each other as comrades and brothers-in-arms who revel in challenging each other to grow as fighters and as soldiers for justice. Sometimes Alex’s rigid, old-world, and über conventional sense of authority tends to irritate Takeshi to the point where he feels tired of being lectured by him. On the flip side, Takeshi’s impulsiveness, brashness, rash attitude, and tough stubbornness drive Alex up a wall to the point where he wants to use physical force to restrain him, i.e., his chokeholds and counterattacks whenever Takeshi attempts to swing his fists at him. However, they never give up on each other even when times get extremely contentious and would always encourage each other to reach their best potential. Alex always encourages Takeshi to not let his impulses get the better of him. Takeshi, in turn, always makes Alex see that there is more to life than just following everything by the book. Alex and Takeshi are not alone in seeing each other’s best sides as brothers from other mothers, as Rocky would also do his part in stating how proud he is of Takeshi for growing as a secondary Red Ranger. I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and may the power protect you, everybody.
