Oh boy! This is the first movie that has made me have the case of nerd rage and has made me scream a bit. Moreover, when looking back at this review, I realized just how boring and forgettable this excuse of an animated film became over the years.

Four years ago I caught one of my most favorite French grand operas of all time being performed in one of my most favorite opera houses in the world starring Roberto Alagna, Ildiko Komlosi, and Beatrice Uria Monzon. Can you really ask for anything more? Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well.
Sonya Yoncheva, Piotr Beczala, and Placido Domingo make their role debuts in one of Verdi’s rarely performed operas as the tragic characters of Luisa Miller, Rodolfo Walter, and Old Man Miller. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well.
Three years ago in Prague, I was extremely excited to review the very opera, which put Giuseppe Verdi on the map as one of the greatest Italian composers of all time! With a diverse and formidable cast of singers who poured their beings into their selected roles, this was absolute bliss. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well.
A huge kudos to all of the performers and Maestro Jindra, especially Dana Buresova, Eva Urbanova, Richard Samek, Jaroslav Berzina and Yvona Skvarova, for a very enjoyable Jenufa that I caught three years ago during my Easter vacation in Prague. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well.
Two to three years ago in my first Austrian Christmas and New Year’s break, this was a spectacular first evening at the Vienna State Opera House, with this supernatural and dramatic Janacek opera headed by one of my most favorite lyric-dramatic coloratura sopranos of all time, Laura Aikin, as the coveted role of Emilia Marty. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well.
Let’s see how Sondra Radvanovsky, Matthew Polenzani, Elina Garanca, and Mariusz Kwiecien fare on my book in this cult classic of a Donizetti opera. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well.
Ah, the unsurpassable Franco Zeffirelli Turandot production, starring Nina Stemme, Marco Berti, Anita Hartig and Alexander Tsymbalyuk with Maestro Paolo Carignani on the helm. Let’s see how well this fares. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well. Some of my opinions especially regarding Marco Berti’s vocal performance have not held up, but in spite of it all, I still enjoyed making this video. Moreover, this is actually my most viewed opera review video I have made.
What opera was I watching, even though this was supposed to be Wagner’s Walküre? Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well. This was filmed two years ago when I was in Budapest and my opinions of this Walküre production haven’t really changed much.
Nanni Moretti’s brand of humor really got me invested in this down-to-earth film. Enjoy the review and let me know your opinions as well. This was made about two to three years ago, but this movie directed by Signore Moretti holds up really well.
