Happy Labor Day, everybody. I know I would have loved to release this drawing a little bit earlier but I was quite busy with preparations with my mathematics written exam for my A-Levels or known in German as “meine schriftliche Abitur Prüfung in Mathematik”. Mind you, this is the second to the last exam I am doing as of this month before I get my Abitur certificate in order to for me to apply to all of the universities and colleges here in Berlin. This is something I should never for granted and I need to haul lots of ass. Even though there is this nagging doubt in me that tells me that I should have done a much better job in my 5. PK, my Spanish Leistungskurs Exam, and my English Leistungskurs Exam, I am not going to hold back whatsoever and just keep soldiering on. Going back to the matter at hand, I am extremely blessed, grateful, humbled, and happy to each and every one of you who have greeted me on my 27th birthday. I am now at an age where I need to set a better example for myself and for everyone else in my life, manage myself in a smarter way, and also take more time to be reflective and keep questioning everything I see in the world and not just have everything in my perspective to be black and white. Moreover, I have to continue to be very career-oriented in everything I do whether as a YouTuber who does vlog-style reviews of operas, concerts, albums, ballet, musicals, movies, cartoons, and anime, an artist who specializes in shipping fan art, and doing anything and everything to do with languages, music, and art. Finally, I have to keep on being grateful for everyone who has played an important role in my life. I can definitely attest that Brickercup is the greatest color-clash RuffPuff pairing ever with Blossoomer coming marginally close to that title. Oh, do not worry, Blossoomer and Butchubbles, your time will eventually come just one at a time. As to be expected, words cannot describe how much time and effort I have been putting to this particular Brickercup timeline, as I could not have done this without a whole lot of inspiration, planning, and just having fun with this concept. With that said, let us delve into how Brick and Buttercup came to be as a couple from their beginnings as childhood friends to the first hints of puppy love to gaining more closeness as teenagers to marriage to their current status as adults. Let us get cracking. Kindergarten (October 24, 1998) Six-year-old Brick and five-year-old Buttercup effectively clicked as friends given how he was highly impressed with Buttercup’s speed punches to the midsection during their first altercation. It was from that moment that he not only found a great friend but also a soulmate. Unlike Blossom who would end up having arguments with Brick based on their egos and their know-it-all attitudes, Bubbles who may be nice, kind, and sweet but has always seen her as a younger sister from another, and Bunny who also had her sweet moments and was and will always be a younger sister from another, Buttercup had her brand of toughness, endurance, and strength that made her stand out in Brick’s eyes. Brick liked the fact that Buttercup was not like other girls who tried so desperately to be pretty, shallow or vain for a guy and was a strong, determined, fearless, rambunctious, and mischievous young lady who was unafraid to speak her mind. Brick and Buttercup not only had a firm friendship with each other but Butch joined along with them. It also helped matters that Mitch clicked exceptionally with Brick and Butch, seeing that he was Buttercup’s best friend for life. Sure, Butch and Buttercup argued, shouted, and grumbled at each other countless times, but whenever she was around Brick, she did not have those problems with Butch and was definitely not agitated in the slightest. In fact, she kind of admired his whole method of taking charge of his brothers and the overall superhero team as the leader and showing that he is the boss, his insurmountable physical strength, and his roguish brand of charisma. This got to the point where some kids teased their relationship of being a couple, but they eventually stopped after Brick and Buttercup gave them the evil eye. One ritual they did as young children was their so-called tattoo battle one week before going trick or treating. The tattoos they got were not real, but they were made with colored markers and coloring pens. Brick always loved to draw dragons on his arm because he believed that they were powerful and, much like Brick, can breathe fire. Buttercup always associated herself with snakes because some of them had poisonous venom. At times, they would wrap up by giving each other a good arm-wrestling match and, ultimately, they would have a good laugh with each other. They could not ask each other for a better friend. Little did they know, it was only the beginning of a flourishing relationship. Grade School (Summer 2003) Just a few months before starting the fifth grade, eleven-year-old Brick and ten-year-old Buttercup had a nice stroll in the Townsville Park, where their relationship seemed to end up becoming more than just really great friends. Given her stubbornness and her tough girl reputation, Buttercup found it really awkward that she was walking with some boy who she saw as nothing more than a great friend. At times she pondered that she was only kidding herself if she were to state that she was head-over-heels for Brick. She knew that she did not want to be obvious towards him, lest she feels like a fool in front of everyone. Brick, being both street-smart and book smart, understood how difficult it was for Buttercup to constantly hide from her true emotions. Moreover, he was the first one to admit to her that he really liked her. He went out of his way to say that Buttercup was not like any other girl he met and she was unique. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Blosstuch shippers of all ages, this has been something I have been wanting to do for the longest time. I am, of course, referring to a timeline of what I can easily consider to be the greatest color-crack Rowdyruff x Powerpuff pairing of all time, Butch x Blossom or Blossutch. I cannot begin to tell you all how excited I was to make something like this, as it took me a great deal of planning and inspiration to get this done. With that said, let us delve into how Butch and Blossom came to be as a couple from bearing puppy love as children to growing closer together as pre-teens to being in a more established relationship as teenagers to marriage with children as adults. Kindergarten (February 14, 1999) As a six going on seven-year-old boy, Butch had a tough guy reputation to uphold, as he did not want anyone to see his slightly softer side. During his time in Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, five going on six-year-old Blossom would be initially peeved by him considering how much of a ruffian Butch was from pounding Floyd and Lloyd for provoking him and even giving Mitch Mitchelson a wedgie to even sticking with Brick to strike terror to anyone who dares mess with them. Even more so, Butch would have the tendency to annoy her by throwing paper balls at her as a means to get under Blossom’s skin. Blossom sort of knows what is up with this particular tough Ruff because she was savvy enough to tell him to cease and desist with the peeving. It all came to a head one fateful day on Valentine’s Day in 1999, just three months before graduating Kindergarten, that Butch decided to reluctantly pluck up the courage to show how he really felt about Blossom. This was not so easy for him, for deep down he admired Blossom because of her intelligence, poise, and just how she managed to keep herself so pretty regardless if she was annoyed with Butch or if she was proving herself to be a worthy combatant. People may not have known it but Butch was head-over-heels for Blossom even though he knew that his whole tough guy reputation was at stake. So, Butch picked up lavender, a pink daisy, and a tulip from his mother’s, Miss Bellum’s, garden and soldiered on to Pokey Oaks where he would finally prove to Blossom that he is not all that bad. It was a good thing that he took Blossom into a playground corner where no one could see the both of them. Even in spite of that, poor Butch was still so nervous to tell Blossom how much he liked her, as he hesitantly gave her the flowers. It also did not help matters that his face was as red as a tomato knowing that if Blossom dared tell anyone about his admiration for her, he would be history. Blossom, being very intuitive and perceptive, found this deed from Butch rather amusing, as he stammered and eventually shouted, “For….you….Blossom. THEY’RE FOR YOU, BLOSSOM, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I REALLY REALLY LIKE YOU SO MUCH!” Blossom was taken aback by what Butch did and accepted the flowers as her Valentine’s gift. She reciprocated by giving Butch a hug and giving him a peck on the cheek, as she went back to play with Buttercup, Bubbles, Bunny, Robin Snyder, Julie Bean, Mary, Kim, Kristen, and Clara. Butch’s face was still as red as a tomato but at least that peck on the cheek was a nice reminder that Blossom liked him for who he is. Ergo, Butch was essentially a tsundere with a really hard outer shell and a soft center on the inside which he did not want anyone else to see but Blossom, thus making this relationship start off with a crush from Butch’s side and an affirmation of reciprocation on Blossom’s side. Grade School (Summer 2003) A few months before starting the fifth grade, eleven-year-old Butch has gotten a lot more accustomed to expressing himself and being unafraid to show his more sensitive side, especially considering that his loyalty to Team Xtreme continued to be as strong as ever as the group’s muscle and second-in-command. He even decided to give his hair a makeover, so, it was farewell cowlick and hello spiky hair, which he maintained all the way up until now. However, there were times that Butch was sick and tired of feeling like Brick should have the final word in everything they do not only as a superhero team but, most importantly, as brothers and he was sick and tired of following him around like some lapdog instead of being his own person. It is true that Butch was gifted with incredible strength but when it came to controlling and being himself, he had yet to learn a thing or two about that principle. This was also the time that a form of puppy love occurred between him and Blossom, which Brick, Buttercup, Boomer, Bubbles, Mitch, Bunny, Mike, and Robin were extremely supportive of their growing relationship. So, ladies and gentlemen, animation fans of all ages, here we have my most favorite male slash couples of all time from four of my most favorite animated installments of all time starring my most favorite musclemen heroes of all time, Conan x Zula from “Conan the Adventurer”, Arkon x Ka-Zar from “X-Men”, Namontack x Basuli, and Kocoum x Tarzan both respectively from Disney’s “Pocahontas” and Disney’s “Tarzan” respectively. I basically picture these muscle hunks’ relationships like this. Conan x Zula (The Bodybuilder Warrior King Couple) Conan is the dominant partner in this relationship considering that he is commanding, tough, and will not take crap from anyone. Zula is the rational, measured, and nurturing submissive partner in this relationship who is just as strong and tough as Conan. In spite of their differences, they have a very loving relationship with each other. Conan loves Zula for how nurturing and steadfast he is, while Zula loves Conan for how determined, strong, and tough he is. Together, these pair of warrior kings make not only a formidable pair in the battlefield but also when they are together. Arkon x Ka-Zar (The Muscle Warlord Couple) Arkon’s determination, toughness, strong ideas, and warlike mentality make him quite the candidate for being the dominant one in this relationship. Ka-Zar’s wild nature, animalistic instincts, raw strength, and peerless combat prowess make him the apple of Arkon’s eyes. When these two are together, they complement each other really well in terms of normalizing each other. Whenever Arkon gets too big for his boots, Ka-Zar will not be afraid to keep him down to earth. Whenever Ka-Zar has any mood swings or has one of his wild episodes, Arkon would always be the one to soothe him. Even though they may be strong, handsome, tough warlords on the outside, doe not mean they can be cuddly with each other on the inside. Namontack x Basuli (The Buff Macho Warrior Couple) Namontack is truly the Alpha Male of this relationship, given his rough outer shell, focus, determination, and strict warrior code, thus being the dominant one. Basuli may uphold his strict warrior codes but he is also enthusiastic, charismatic, and headstrong and he does not mind being the submissive partner in this relationship. Namontack and Basuli admire each other for their strong fighting skills and their godly muscular physiques. Moreover, Namontack does find Basuli’s headstrong personality admirable and fun, while Basuli finds Namontack’s focus and toughness to be his best features aside from his strong build. They would definitely be the couple who would go into battle one moment and have sweet intimacy with each other while sensually touching each others’ muscles. Kocoum x Tarzan (The Sexy, Sinuous, Sinewy Nature Fighter Couple) Kocoum may appear stern, silent, and stoic but when he is around Tarzan, he lets go of his defenses and proves himself to be a dominant and protective husband. Tarzan may be deemed as a savage wild man complete with animal instincts, but he is so thankful to have a wonderful, strong, strapping husband like Kocoum in his life. With their strength, speed, and overall athletic prowess combined, they are certainly a force to be reckoned with, especially when it comes to scaring their enemies with their mere presence. However, when they are alone together, they are wonderfully intimate with Kocoum admiring Tarzan for how compassionate and funny he can be and Tarzan admiring Kocoum for his loyalty and genuineness. Greetings, fans of The Powerpuff Girls, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Teen Titans, Antoni here with another written entry. If you saw my post regarding my favorite six-person teams from some of my favorite shows, you would already know that Team Xtreme which is my headcanon name for the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls as a superhero team from “The Powerpuff Girls”, Sector V plus Katie from “Codename: Kids Next Door”, and the Teen Titans from Jump City plus Terra and Titans East plus Sarasim were my top entries. You can tell how much I admired these groups because, as you can tell, I grew up watching The Powerpuff Girls, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Teen Titans seeing that these were and will always be my favorite Cartoon Network shows of all time next to Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter’s Laboratory, Duck Dodgers, and I Am Weasel that also manage to hold a very special place in my heart. Today, I am going to sort out the who’s who in these particular groups, some based on some of the shows’ canon and some based on my headcanons, with their current ages. Get ready to kick some villain butt for the sake of truth, justice, liberty, and, in some cases, the last slice of pizza. Team Xtreme (My Headcanon Name for The Rowdyruff Boys and The Powerpuff Girls as one Superhero Team from “The Powerpuff Girls”) Team Xtreme Members: Brick, the 27-year-old fearless leader who rules with an iron fist, heaps of charisma, and is fiercely protective of his teammates. His special power is his signature fire breath and is a pyrokinesis user. Butch, the 27-year-old brutish muscle who is unafraid to use his Herculean strength to beat up criminals and monsters and help his teammates out in any situation. His special powers are his Tornado Punch and building a forcefield to protect and his teammates. Boomer, the 27-year-old lovable dumb muscle who is the comic relief of the group, loves to tell a good joke and has the strength of Heracles, the combat prowess of Theseus, and the charm of an Apollo. He is a lightning manipulator and can form objects out of raw energy. Blossom, the 26-year-old tech-savvy, articulate, book smart brainy beauty whose wisdom and cool sense of intellect is a great asset to the team. Her special power is her signature ice breath as well as being a cryokinesis user. Buttercup, the 26-year-old rambunctious brawler who is unafraid to let her fists fly and who is any criminal’s worst nightmare. She is a geomancer as well as being a telekinesis user. Bubbles, the 25-year-old sweet, innocent pacifist who ensures that there is unity, good vibes, and great collaboration happening in Team Xtreme. She bears sound-related attacks and is a water manipulator. My love for Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles as one fine superhero team who keeps Townsville safe knows no bounds because of the many character dynamics that can occur. Combining Brick’s large-and-in-charge big brother personality, Butch’s brawny tough guy attitude, Boomer’s lovable dumb muscle funnyman antics, Blossom’s intellect, Buttercup’s fiery attitude, and Bubbles’ innocence as the pacifist is sufficient to show how much strength there is in numbers and being proof positive that with great power comes great positivity, which is the mantra they have learned ever since they were kindergarteners. As adults, they uphold this principle, as it is passed down to their children. Kuki “Numbuh 3” Sanban-Beatles, the 27-year-old lovable, innocent pacifist of the group who loves to ensure unity. Wallabee “Numbuh 4” Beatles, the 28-year-old tough, impulsive, wild muscle of the group who loves to dive head-on into battle. Abigail “Numbuh 5” Lincoln-Uno, the 28-year-old cool, calm, collected brain of the group who uses reason to get through anything. Katie “Numbuh 6” Strong-Gilligan, the 27-year-old athletic, gorgeous, well-rounded sixth ranger of the group who is an exceptional combination of beauty, brains, and brawn. Canonically-speaking there have been five members in Sector V and Katie was only an illusion created by Chester to mess with Nigel’s brain. However, since this is my Codename: KND headcanon, Katie is real, alive, and well, hails from Hawaii, and was and will always be the sixth Sector V operative who has been of great use to the team. You are probably wondering why did I not put Lizzie Devine as the sixth operative and instead favored Katie. That is because I cannot stand how shrill, clingy, whiny, and vexatious Lizzie was as a character, especially when she was adamant for having Nigel to herself, and though she had her moments of competence, I highly doubt that she would ever be a reliable KND operative. Getting back to the main six members of Sector V at hand, while all five members show a great deal of interpersonal chemistry and wonderful group dynamics, adding Katie to the mix would prove to be more beneficial since, at least in my headcanon, she is an athletic, intuitive beauty who can fight like a beast with fierceness and precision. Greetings, Powerpuff Girls fans, it is your old friend Antoni here with another written entry. This time we are going to take a look at the six-person superhero group that has found a wonderfully special place in my heart, at least where my headcanon is concerned. If you are not aware of this, I have been completely inspired by fanfics and fan art of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls joining forces as one strong superhero team and not just the ones involving shipping. This got to the point where the idea of Team Xtreme came to be, as I was not only inspired by those said fan installments but also the other shows I grew up with like Justice League, X-Men, The Avengers, Power Rangers, and Teen Titans. You can tell that I am a huge sucker of superhero groups that consist of, ideally, six to, at most, seven people because of the interesting and engaging group dynamics these teams have to offer. All of these have carried through my fascination with grouping the Ruffs and Puffs as the superhero team that they are in my headcanon. With all of that out of the way, let us get to know Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles a bit better, as they are Team Xtreme. Getting to Know Team Xtreme Saving Townsville and the world since 1998, we have Team Xtreme, which is the result of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls joining forces after the former group was adopted by Miss Bellum and was raised as her trio of most beloved sons. Adding in Mr. Green as their father also proved to be just as great, as Brick, Butch, and Boomer had and will always have a father to groom them into the fine gentlemen that they are. With their different skills and abilities, Brick, Butch, Boomer, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles have proven themselves to be Townsville’s finest superheroes from their times as kindergarteners all the way up to adulthood. Brick “The Bludgeoner” Green Age: 27 Birthday: March 5, 1992 Position in the group: The Leader Special Power: Pyrokinesis and many other fire-related attacks Status: Married to Buttercup since 2011. He may rule with an iron fist but he is extremely protective of his group. Ergo, any harm that is done to his brothers Butch and Boomer, his close comrade and really good friend Blossom, his wife Buttercup, and/or his best friend and little sister-in-law Bubbles would be enough to trigger him to beat up any perpetrator and put him in his place, thus showing the juxtaposition of Brick being harsh towards his enemies yet tender, supportive, and encouraging towards his comrades. Brick’s confidence and large-and-in-charge attitude are what make him stand out as Team Xtreme’s courageous leader. These traits have also carried through from kindergarten to grade school to middle school to high school to college to marriage. This even got to the point where he was one of Townsville High’s most well-rounded and popular young men ever, participating in a plethora of athletic, scientific, and social clubs, thus making his reputation at Townsville University absolutely laudable. While Brick has these said traits, they can also make him prone to arrogance, being irate for the littlest of things, overly demanding, highly strung, and overprotective. Luckily for him, he has his teammates and friends to keep his feet on the ground and remind him that he does not have to battle all of these things alone. Brick’s dynamics with his teammates show a lot of versatility and interest from the epic bromance he has with Butch to the competitiveness he has with Boomer to he and Blossom butting heads in terms of their strong beliefs only to come to an agreement with a good conversation to his sensually romantic intimacy with Buttercup to his big brother protectiveness when he is around Bubbles. When all is said and done, Brick is grateful to have his favorite brother Butch for supporting him as his second-in-command and for being his best friend for life, his other brother Boomer for his jokes and humor and for all of the competitions they have together, Blossom for challenging him to be a better person, for being a really good friend, and an awesome comrade-in-arms akin to a younger sister, Buttercup for unconditionally loving him in spite of his flaws, and Bubbles for her moral support and for being like his little sister from another mother. Brick’s main element is fire and he uses it whenever he and/or his teammates are in danger. He is a gifted pyrokinesis user all thanks to his signature fire breath and the many abilities he has involving fire. Aside from that, he has super strength, super speed, heaps of endurance, superb combat prowess, and is a strategist. For those of you who have read my previous written entries, most notably the ones where I talk about my reasons for loving InuAya, BakRosé, HakKar, GinShun, KiiWin, and IpMay as my six most favorite anime OTPs of all time and where I talk about my AU if I had Conan and Zula be the fathers of the gentlemen and Arkon and Ka-Zar be the fathers to the ladies, you would already know that I am a loyal shipper of Inuyasha x Ayame, Baki x Rosé, Hakkaku x Karan, Ginta x Shunran, Kiibo x Winry, and Ippo x Maya. Moreover, we have Inuyasha, Baki, Hakkaku, Ginta, Kiibo, and Ippo being the strong, handsome husbands that they are complete with well-shaped muscles of steel and their most beloved wives Ayame, Rosé, Karan, Shunran, Winry, and Maya being just as strong as their handsome, sturdy husbands. Let us briefly talk about their relationships, shall we? Individual headcanons for these couples will eventually follow in individual submissions. Inuyasha x Ayame Inuyasha and Ayame are the Northern Yoro Tribe’s strongest warriors and they lead their tribe with a lot of fortitude, courage, and power. Combining Inuyasha’s super strength, especially when it comes to grappling, wrestling, and having posedowns and beatdowns with his foes, with Ayame’s amazing combat prowess, especially when it comes to giving her foes a major beatdown, is certainly a great match made in Nirvana. Behind closed doors, Inuyasha and Ayame would have a lot of exciting moments of intimacy, what with Inuyasha giving Ayame so much pleasure and Ayame soothing Inuyasha from all of the madness in battle. Inuyasha loves Ayame because of her resilience, determination, and dedication to her duty as his wife and Ayame loves Inuyasha because of how super strong he is, how gentle he is around her, and how loyal and loving he is as her husband. It also helps that their progeny prove themselves to be just as strong, tough, and durable as their parents. When all is said and done, Inuyasha and Ayame have a lot of unconditional love for each other thanks to their wonderful chemistry and strong bond. Baki Hanma x Rosé Thomas-Hanma Baki and Rosé are the types of people who love to keep fit and strong in everything they do. Baki’s great involvement in martial arts and bodybuilding and Rosé’s involvement in health and fitness certainly make them a couple no one should ever mess with. In spite of his rough edge, Baki is akin to a huge, soft teddy bear when he is around Rosé because she sees the best in him. Rosé loves how loyal Baki is to her and Baki loves how sweet, kind, and patient Rosé is with him. Therefore, this stoic, brawny gentleman with a heart of gold and this sweet, loving lady with the patience of a saint have a healthy relationship, which is reflected in their wonderful household. Their children are just as tough, strong, and loving as their parents and the dynamics they have with their parents show how much unconditional love there is within their happy home. Hakkaku x Karan Hakkaku and Karan are the Northern Yoro Tribe’s most flexible couple and they show it in spades. Hakkaku is the goofy, lovable strongman to Karan’s focused, determined mistress of stealth and when they are together in battle, their enemies would learn a thing or two about never underestimating their opponents. Being the dynamic couple that they are, Hakkaku and Karan take turns in wearing the pants in this relationship and they show a lot of unconditional tolerance, love, respect, and healthy synergy towards each other. They could even help each other in times of strife. Whenever Hakkaku has his doubts and anxieties, Karan would make him down to earth and assure him that he is strong enough to overcome anything. Whenever Karan has her disappointments, Hakkaku would assure her that it is not the end of the world. Moreover, their children would inherit their quirks and be just as resilient as Hakkaku and Karan combined. Ginta x Shunran Ginta and Shunran are the Northern Yoro Tribe’s most lovable and adorable couple ever, as their love for each other knows no bounds. Ginta is proud to proclaim himself to be Shunran’s knight in shining armor and Shunran loves it when her dashing stud is there for her all the time. There is not a shadow of a doubt that…
