When it comes to playing the hero and the heroines, how do Kerl, Markarova, and Zhidkova fare?

This review, despite its quality, was quite significant to me because it was the first time I saw the magnificent Camilla Nylund on stage in the role of Salome. Supporting her were Gerhard Siegel, Birgit Remmert and Albert Dohmen, truly phenomenal singers of the German repertoire. http://youtu.be/Nxl7IPby_qg?a
As a congratulatory gift to Signora Mosuc’s stage debut as Anna Bolena here’s my review of her Bel Canto album.
Frau Waltraud Meier entices the listeners in her Lieder album.
Coming from someone who has never heard of Carlo Gesualdo before, this performance was quite interesting.
I still can’t believe it was just two years ago when I got my free ticket from the lovely Madame Evelin Novak Novak to see Weill’s Mahagonny at the Staatsoper im Schillertheater. I will never forget the time I met up with this radiantly-voiced lyric soprano and she was and will always be a definite treat as Jenny. 🙂
Now I’m here in Hamburg! Jetzt bin ich hier in Hamburg! Ahora estoy aqui en Hamburgo!
Hello! Hallo! Hola! If you’ve missed the premiere then there are still screenings of Mr. Rudolpho’s Jubilee from today until February 2. So please don’t miss it. You will not regret anything. 🙂 http://www.babylonberlin.de/mrrudolphosjubilee.htm
So here’s my mini-review of this particular film I took part in as an extra. Â Story- It tells the tale of a disgruntled and world-weary yet popular fashion designer who just wants a lot more in life. Along the way, he meets a bunch of colorful and interesting characters. This formula may have been done before, but the liveliness and energy of this film make it stand out. Â Cinematography- It is really well-done, using colors to enhance the mood of certain scenes and it does not need to rely on overblown special effects to make it shine. Â Music- Leave it up to the directors and musicians, Robyn Rosenkrantz and Michael Glover to concoct some of the most calming and down-to-earth tunes that will have them stuck in your head, especially “The Black Cat Song”. Â Characters- The characters are likable, colorful and charming. I especially related to Mr. Rudolpho as he definitely spoke to me as a person, in a figurative manner. All the other supporting characters serve their purpose in the story and are just as entertaining and likable. Â Acting- Not only did Robyn Rosencrantz and Michael Glover steal the show as the Greek Chorus, but the acting found in Francesco Mazzini, Roberta Bianchini, Frank Kallinowski, Tony Moore, Stig Eldred and Valeria Ferrario was excellent! Â Overall, Mr. Rudolpho’s Jubilee is a charming piece of work. Please go see it if you have not already. I give this film a 5 out of 5 stars! I would also like to hear your thoughts on this film, so please rate and review this film on IMDb as well. Cheers! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3135074/
Hey, guys! Here’s my Flashback Friday post of a scene I enjoyed doing so much as a nineteen-year-old during my year in IAFT. I want to thank Santy for being an awesome stage partner and Mr. Alex Murphy for his great guidance. Enjoy! 😀
