Best of My OTPs: Mitch x Bunny

This fan art collage is dedicated to all of my Bunnitch-shipping friends, fans, and brethren. Moreover, this is one of my contributions for Red Ribbon Reviewers. Finally, I would also love to dedicate this fan art collage to BrickercupMasterX3 who inspired me to cherish, love, and be totally enthralled with this particular couple and to KatyGorl who has also been one of my biggest inspirations of all time, considering the art trade we have done involving the Bunnitch kids. So, sit back, relax, and soak in that Bunnitch loveliness, lovability, and adorability.

This Bunnitch fan art collage covers the years I have been drawing them and their children ranging from June 9, 2018, the fateful day where I turned my first submission in observation of BrickercupMasterX3’s annual Bunnitch month which made me root for this couple so much, to my most recent submission on October 29, 2019, which was in observation of KatyGorl’s Claim a PPG Pairing Month. Back then, I never had an opinion let alone a voice in terms of what I thought about Bunnitch mostly because I used to ship Mitch with Princess Morbucks, which I highly regret, and I have always found Bunny to be an interesting and underrated character whose story could have ended up continuing with her being resurrected if Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles fessed up to Professor Utonium that they created Bunny in order to help them with the heavy burden they end up having saving Townsville and the world. However, as time went on, I slowly realized just how toxic Mitch and Princess would have ended up faring as a couple and finally accepted just how healthy, synergetic, and beautiful Bunnitch really was as a couple. Therefore, Bunnitch is not only my most favorite Normie x PPG pairing of all time but also one of my most favorite couples of The City of Townsville.

Growing up with The Punisher, The Hulk, She Hulk, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles specifically with Casey Jones has made me have the endeavor to have my headcanon with Mitch Mitchelson as a Townsville version of Casey Jones and The Punisher in amalgamated form and Bunny Utonium as a Townsville version of The Hulk and She Hulk especially where her transformations are concerned. Moreover, they would switch between being in Citysville and Townsville both as their own heroes as well as being Team Xtreme’s staunchest allies not only with Bunny as the overall youngest sister of Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles but also with Mitch as the younger adopted brother of Brick, Butch, and Boomer. Therefore, the familial bonds the boys and the girls have in their respective families not only end up as a heroic duties running in their blood but also being passed down from generation to generation. Moreover, with Mr. Green and Mrs. Bellum-Green as the Rowdyruff Boys and Mitch’s parents and Professor Utonium and Mrs. Keane-Utonium as The Powerpuff Girls’ parents, they are definitely going to keep that heroic bloodline up and running until the end of time.

Admittedly, I did not really know what to do with Mitch’s and Bunny’s hairstyle and appearance, considering I used to think Mitch’s longer hair was cooler-looking back then but then I decided to shorten it to fit what he looked like in the show and how all over the place I was with Bunny’s hair color to the point where I finally stuck with that shade of brown I was most satisfied with. It did drive me crazy in terms of how I needed to get some things right, but I would love to think that I had the confidence to nip in the bud and ensure that those are the hairstyles, hair colors, and overall looks I am going to stick with.

In terms of the Bunnitch next generation characters, I am rather stunned with how the Bunnitch clan grew from just having two children in the form of Ryan and Pauline to ending up with ten more children to add to their big, wonderful family. This was all thanks to an art trade I did with KatyGorl, which may have taken a lot of time because of all the planning, the re-checking, and all of the bells and whistles that needed to be accomplished but the whole process was fun to the point where I was really happy to have partaken in this. Yes, I now have twelve more Bunnitch children up my sleeve, thus making Bunnitch clock up to have a whacking twenty-four children, but I am certainly going to enjoy drawing Mitch’s and Bunny’s twelve more children so that they will end up being the big, happy family that they are.

With all things considered, I continue to be a proud hardcore shipper of Bunnitch because of how wonderfully synergetic they are as a couple and I cannot wait to draw the twelve more children they ended up having. Ergo, I may be pleased that Benji, Jax, Mace, Patrick, Quentin, Ramona, Ryan, Pauline, Nicole, Noelle, Noreen, and Nina have come to fruition but I am also itching to draw Susie, Tammy, Vicki, Raymond, Steven, Stephanie, Ronan, Priscilla, Philine, Portia, Nancy, and Norma to complete this awesome family consisting of a roguish yet well-meaning gentleman like Mitch and a bouncy, fun-loving, sweet lady like Bunny.

I would definitely love to see a whole lot more love for this underrated couple, and I am going to definitely do my part with spreading that Bunnitch love both with the couple itself and their children.

I hope you all enjoyed this and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, everybody.
