This second version of the death battle meme template belongs to Death-Driver-5000. Furthermore, this is my contribution to this year’s Red Ribbon Reviewers’ month.
Coming up on the show, we have a transatlantic superhero battle. From Feudal Era Japan, we have Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran also known as The Splendid Seven! From The United States of America, we have Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, J’onn J’onnz aka Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, The Flash, and Hawkgirl also known as The Justice League. We have a family of yokai warriors who fight for honor, glory, fortitude, might, courage, hope, and ambition and a superhero team who fight for liberty, justice, fraternity, righteousness, decorum, virtue, and charity. Two shows from my childhood go head-to-head to see which super team shall make it to the top in this epic clash of the titans. Only one super team can make it out alive.
This clash of the super titans shall take place in the Colosseum of Themyscira and this will be an all-out Olympic battle of Pankration, javelin-throwing, discus-throwing, long-jump, marathon-running, and all the works. Trust me when I say that there will be a great amount of carnage and boundless energy flowing throughout the arena and it is going to be one of the most exciting battles any mortal has ever witnessed.
The pair-ups shall be in this order. Sesshoumaru shall do battle with Batman, Inuyasha shall do battle with Superman, Ayame shall do battle with Wonder Woman, Shuran shall do battle with Martian Manhunter, Hakkaku shall do battle with Green Lantern, Ginta shall do battle with The Flash, and Shunran shall do battle with Hawkgirl. The clash of the super titans starts right now!
Sesshoumaru and Batman is the classic case of two stealthy gentlemen who are fully aware that might does not always make right. Knowing the conscientiousness they bear, they know how to use their imposing presence and focus to their absolute advantage to take them down on the outside and on the inside. Aside from their intelligence, their combat prowess proves to be accurate and deadly at the same time. Even when Sesshoumaru were to go full yokai, Batman would continue to remain focused.
Speaking of combat prowess, one could not ask for a greater clash than Superman versus Inuyasha. These two have the strength of the Olympian gods to take each other down with their forceful punches, great usage of muscle power, and overall might. Looks like there will be a lot of torn ligaments, broken backs, bruised bodies, and crushed bones coming along the way when these two super strong men duke it out with their fists, muscles, and strength. To make things more interesting Inuyasha would even go full yokai on Superman.
When it comes to women of might, courage, and strength, Wonder Woman and Ayame fit the criteria to a tee. These iron ladies have the strength of ten million men, the combat prowess of a true warrior, and the endurance to keep them alive until the day is done. Punches, kick, headlocks, and back-breakers will fly and they will be put to fantastic use. Even if they were to end up bruised, Wonder Woman and Ayame would definitely never give up.
J’onn J’onnz aka Martian Manhunter and Shuran are an interesting case. Both of them are physically imposing fighters, but they also bear some fascinating differences with J’onn being taciturn and lethal and Shuran being large-and-in-charge and all blood and guts. Shuran may have his lightning powers at hand, but J’onn can transform into anything and any creature while doing battle with him and would even dish out a few punches on him. However, every time Shuran gets knocked down, he just knocks down ten times harder.
Green Lantern and Hakkaku are really seeing green in this fight, i.e. neon for Green Lantern and forest green for Hakkaku. Overlooking that, they are going to have to be shrewd in their tactics in order to conquer the other. While they can also rely on their fists to do each other in, they are also capable of using their athletic capabilities to one up each other and make sure that there is an easy win in store for one of these combatants. When Green Lantern uses that ring, Hakkaku needs to do more than just dodge his attacks and just go for it.
The Flash and Ginta are the fastest of their respective teams. Outrunning each other is one thing, but having to beat each other to a pulp is also going to take a great amount of strength and athletic prowess to do the job. Speed and athleticism are what define these combatants and these are what will help them in ensuring victory goes to one or the other. Their fists and their feet will also do the trick, as their punches and kicks can certainly leave a dent.
Hawkgirl and Shunran may be poles apart when it comes to their combat tactics, but one attribute remains and that is their overall persistence and willingness to keep moving forward. Hawkgirl may have all the might, toughness, and endurance, but Shunran has the craftiness, trickery, and wildcards up her sleeve, especially where her mirages are concerned. In order for Hawkgirl to take down Shunran, she is going to have to not always rely on muscle to do so.
If I were a millionaire now, I would definitely pay to see an epic battle such as this and I would enjoy it to my heart’s content with all of my friends and family. The choice is now yours, who will win in this epic clash of the titans? The Splendid Seven and their supernatural abilities to take advantage of their yokai powers as well as fighting for courage, fortitude, and honor? Or The Justice League and their superhuman abilities to use them in order to fight for liberty, equality, justice, and fraternity? Comment below and let me know!
