The Most Unbeatable Family in Feudal Era Japan

This screenshot motivational poster is highly and I mean highly Pro-Sesshoumaru, Pro-Inuyasha, Pro-Ayame, Pro-Shuran, Pro-Hakkaku, Pro-Ginta, Pro-Shunran, Pro-SessAyaInu in the OT3 sense, Pro-ShuHak in the BroTP sense, Pro-GinShun the OTP sense, Pro-SessShuHak in the BroT3 sense, Pro-SessInuGin in the BroT3 sense, Pro-InuGinta in the BroTP sense, and Pro-AyaShun in the BroTP sense. Furthermore, this is my contribution to this year’s Red Ribbon Reviewers’ month. So, sit back, relax, and soak in the total honor and unity of The Splendid Seven not only as a formidable team but also an extremely close-knit family.

Awareness Ribbons - Red

The Splendid Seven are a crystal clear example of living by the mantra that family does not always have to be blood-related but bear a foundation based on trust, likemindedness, honesty, understanding, and persistence. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha may be dog yokai brothers, Ayame may as well be akin to The Dog General’s adopted daughter/daughter-in-law because of the closeness she has with both brothers, Shuran and Shunran may be panther yokai siblings, and Hakkaku and Ginta may be wolf yokai brothers, but their familial bonds with each other can stand the test of time.

With all of their physical prowess in strength, combat skills, speed, stamina, and potent willpower combined, every demon, every criminal, and every villain has been trumped by The Splendid Seven. It has not just been the Northern Yoro Tribe, the Western Lands, and the Panther Tribe have seen their triumphs in battle, but also all of Feudal Era Japan.

Overlooking the glory, the might, and the fortitude, these seven warriors are, first and foremost, a family. Ever since they were young, The Dog General and The Wolf Elder saw a great future not only for Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and Ayame to be in a harmonious relationship with each other, but also make a great, genuine, and awesome friendship with Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran. Their familial bond can give any huge family, blended family or any number of best friends a run for their money and even make them turn green with envy. No amount of pettiness, unnecessary drama or strife will ever separate them because their collective strengths make a fantastically impenetrable wall that can bulldoze any adversity coming their way.

As a family, they do their best to ensure that all lines of communication are open, no one gets left behind, and that honor, stability, and courage remain the bedrock attributes of their family. They even demonstrate love in their own special ways from Sesshoumaru dishing out his own brand of tough love to Inuyasha and Ginta as well as being worthy of emulation in Shuran’s and Hakkaku’s eyes and Ayame honoring and championing him so much as well as Shunran looking up to him as a great older brother figure to Inuyasha having a fantastically competitive fraternal relationship with Sesshoumaru, a fun-loving friendship with Shuran and Hakkaku, a genuinely caring fraternal relationship with Ginta, a compassionately romantic relationship with Ayame, and a warmly protective sibling relationship with Shunran to Ayame being the bedrock of Sesshoumaru’s and Inuyasha’s lives, the best friend Shuran, Hakkaku, and Ginta need, and the loving, compassionate, kind older sister to Shunran to Shuran vowing to protect his family to Hakkaku demonstrating his loyalty to Ginta admiring each of them, especially Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, for their special attributes to Shunran feeling absolutely grateful to be a part of this family.

Combining Sesshoumaru’s stealth and taciturn lethalness, Inuyasha’s brute strength and warlike combat prowess, Ayame’s stamina and fantastic determination, Shuran’s imposing stature and toughness, Hakkaku’s high spunk and enthusiasm, Ginta’s lightning speed and lovable charm, and Shunran’s stylish smartness and gregarious agility is a phenomenal formula for great success that can give armies and legions of superheroes a whopping run for their money. Clan lords have given honor to them because The Splendid Seven may have known fear, but they tackle it with all of their being without any hesitation whatsoever.

This sense of unity, honor, pride, and duty has also been passed down to all of their children and grandchildren. Ergo, their exciting legacy will always be preserved for all generations.

In conclusion, I am never going to tire of my admiration of The Splendid Seven. These seven yokai warriors are not only my favorite Inuyasha characters of all time, but they also make a spectacularly infallible team with the closeness of a true family and united they shall stand for all time.

I hope you all enjoyed this and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and Happy Holidays, everybody.

Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran from Inuyasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.
