InuAya’s Evolution

This screenshot motivational poster is highly, utterly, indubitably, truly, unabashedly, and totally Pro-Inuyasha, Pro-Ayame, and Pro-InuAya. Sit back, relax, and sit in for a spell as to how Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s relationship developed from adorable interactions as children to unconditional love as grown-ups to the point where they would grow old together.

This could be the AU headcanon junkie in me talking, but I have always envisioned Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s relationship to start off from infancy and flourish as they grow older and start a family of their own. Their romance may not be a perfect fairy-tale, but the loyalty, compassion, attentiveness, authenticity, and support they display towards each other are boundless and are more precious than worldly riches. Moreover, they are the definition of a super strong power couple who are both physically and mentally strong from dishing out their brand of formidable combat prowess to not taking crap from anybody who dares manipulate them. Inuyasha and Ayame are even greatly intimate and will never skimp on the lovemaking. Their authenticity, intimacy, and strength are engendered to produce one unstoppable power couple in Inuyasha and Ayame. The best part of this couple’s relationship is that there are no Beads of Subjugation, no sit commands, and no Karmic relationships going on here. It is just good, old-fashioned, unconditional love which has sealed the deal for Inuyasha and Ayame to thrive in the name of harmony, love, and joy.

The very first individuals who fully supported their relationship were The Wolf Elder and The Dog General, ever since Ayame was being christened. Ever since Inuyasha approached 3 and Ayame was already born, they had a flourishing bond which showed a lot of potential, since little Inuyasha made baby Ayame laugh, as he was making silly faces to her. Through this interaction, The Wolf Elder, The Dog General, The Dog Lady, Izayoi, and even 4-year-old Sesshoumaru showed their encouragement and support for Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s growing bond.

6 going on 7-year-old Inuyasha even saved 4-year-old Ayame from The Birds of Paradise by clobbering them with his fists, feet, claws, super strength, and advanced fighting moves for someone who was still so young. The grateful Ayame showered Inuyasha with hugs and kisses, which did make his face blush as red as the reddest of tomatoes. In turn, Inuyasha promised Ayame that he will be strong for her.

As Inuyasha turned 7 years old, he was training with The Wolf Elder and the warriors of The Northern Yoro Tribe, as he learned how to wrestle, use his super strength, roar as loudly as he could, hunt, grapple, box, and how to fight with his fists, fangs, claws, and feet. Inuyasha’s prodigious strength and exceptional combat prowess sufficed to have The Wolf Elder call him his grandson-in-law, thus establishing Inuyasha’s place in The Northern Yoro Tribe and Ayame’s hand in marriage.

While they were still children, Inuyasha and Ayame would give each other nips on the noses and kisses on each others’ cheeks, as a sign of affection towards each other. For Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran, who were also Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s best friends akin to family, they were really on board for supporting them as a couple to the point where they admired just how adorable they were together. They would even chase each other in the fields and have a laugh.

When they reached their early teens, especially with Inuyasha at 16 and Ayame at 13, their relationship grew much stronger and a bit more intimate, though not explicit. Their kisses on the cheeks developed to kisses on the lips. Character-wise, the loyalty they have for each other grew and grew, as they did not want to separate from each other and worked together so superbly as a team, a couple, and a duo of really strong warriors. They would even protect each other from all harm and fight for each other, especially since Inuyasha’s super strength and Ayame’s lightning speed made them an unstoppable force.

Their mid- to late-teens and early young adult years, with Inuyasha being between the ages of 18 and 21 and Ayame being between the ages 15 to 18, would see them being a lot more intimate, elevated in their sense of romantic love, and more significant spousal duty. This meant that the fidelity that engendered them as a couple grew just as stronger as their super fighting skills. On an irreverent note, they would show no fear of going second and/or third base because of how much they would ease their tensions after every heated battle, thus their intimacy bearing more heat than a hot summer’s day could ever offer. The unconditional love Inuyasha and Ayame have for each other has certainly been growing so much stronger to the point where they produced a strong family to call their own.

Throughout their adult years, they have become the rulers of the Eastern and Northern Yoro Tribes, thus leading their tribes to victory against the invaders. Aside from being valiant leaders, they are also super strong parents to their children. From eldest to youngest, there are Motoharu, Mitsuhide, Matsuhige, Masaya, Masataka, Motomu, Kenta, Keita, Kuma, Kouta, Kazuhiko, Kaito, Dai, Roku, Kai, Rin, Shiori, Shinta, Momoko, Makoto, Mikoto, Maya, Minako, and Meika. Their sons are just as super strong, super tough, and warlike as their father and their daughters are just as determined, steely, and ambitious as their mother. Even Sesshoumaru has helped both Inuyasha and Ayame raise their children to be as strong and determined as they are as warriors and as individuals.

Even with Inuyasha approaching 39 years old and Ayame approaching 36 years old as of this year, they are still the strong, loving, and loyal couple they have always been throughout the years. Their children have even started families of their own, thus making them happy and healthy grandparents.

In conclusion, Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s couple development really demonstrates how the innocent joys of childhood love can grow into the more sensual pleasures and undying fidelity found in conjugal love. Their inseparability is legendary and their family can attest to that.

I hope you all enjoyed Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s evolution from childhood sweethearts to the strong power couple they are known for being and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and make it your endeavor to never give up on your life partner, everybody.

Inuyasha and Ayame from Inuyasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.
