Freaky Fred Freaks Kagome Out

This scared Kagome meme was inspired by menslady125. Furthermore, this Halloween week is dedicated to defecating all over my least favorite anime heroine of all time, Kagome “the whiny, bratty, stupid manipulator” Higurashi.

Do you see his grin? Do you feel that his eerie grin is staring right into the depths of your soul? Do you also have goosebumps whenever you encounter him? Well, you should. Because he is none other than Freaky Fred, one of the most gleefully screwed-up characters from Courage the Cowardly Dog. I would not label him as a villain, but more of an ambiguous and darkly playful anti-villain who is neither good nor inherently evil, though a lot of his actions do question his morale’s validity. He may be the Middle of Nowhere’s version of Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, but he is present for a really good reason. It is remind us, the viewers and Inuyasha fans, that Kagome is not really all that beautiful underneath that scraggly, haggish, ebony-colored hair of hers.

My point is that Freaky Fred knows a bad seed when he sees one. Sure, Courage was not a bad seed in the slightest because he was trying to fetishize his love for shaving hair onto him in a creepily playful manner, but he did it because it was his weird way of finding amusement in him. Let us face it. Eustace does not have any hair, while Muriel’s hair may have sufficient volume, but it was not enough for Freaky Fred to satiate his fetish for shaving hair.

Going back to sensing that bad seed, he has sensed it in Kagome. Why? Well, what about the mere fact that she abuses those god-forsaken Beads of Subjugation onto Inuyasha, despite them existing for protection purposes? What about those occasions when she would constantly put all the blame on Inuyasha for not kowtowing to her whims of her protecting her in order to strengthen his Tessaiga? What about those times she has been manipulating Miroku, Sango, Kouga, Shippou, and Kaede into siding with her? What about the mere fact that she cannot stand up for herself and uses others to get what she wants? All of these atrocious attributes have made Freaky Fred convict that Kagome does not deserve to have such luscious locks. She may seem pretty on the outside, but her actions make her far less attractive.

So, here comes Freaky Fred with his razor, as he proceeds to make Kagome feel deservedly uncomfortable, and he proceeds to shave her all her hair off! He did this because, according to Freaky Fred, Kagome has been such a naughty, whiny, bratty girl and bratty girls like Kagome need to be taught a lesson they will never forget. And he has made a permanent mark on what was left of Kagome’s hair and will live her life as a baldie.

So, my dear readers, especially all of you lovely young ladies out there, do not ever behave as horribly as Kagome did. Otherwise, you might as well find yourself booking a hardcore hair-shaving appointment with Freaky Fred and he will not go easy with you in the slightest iota.

Freaky Fred from Courage the Cowardly Dog belongs to John R. Dilworth, Stretch Films, and Cartoon Network.

Kagome “the whiny, bratty, stupid manipulator” Higurashi from Inuyasha belongs to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.
