This screenshot motivational poster is dedicated to all of my ProfKeane-shipping friends, fans, and brethren. So, sit back, relax, and soak in that ProfKeane elegance.
Before Blossoomer, Brickercup, Butchubbles, Bunnitch, HarJul, Robike, and even GreenBell being my absolute Townsville OTPs for life, there was ProfKeane aka Professor Utonium x Miss Keane, a couple I have been shipping ever since I was a seven-year-old boy. I am ecstatic to know just how exceedingly well this couple holds up in my eyes as someone approaching his twenty-eighth year in life, which is saying something because of the figurative chemistry John Utonium and Sandra Keane certainly have.
What compelled me to be a hardcore ProfKeane shipper was attributed to how lovely Professor Utonium and Ms. Keane looked together in certain scenes such as “Daylight Savings”, which this episode made me feel so cross, and, of course, “Keen on Keane”, which may have been a major ship tease episode with a disappointing ending but it was rather fun. Combining Professor Utonium’s towering tallness, dashing features, and no-nonsense attitude with Ms. Keane’s petite stature, loveliness, and firm yet gentle authority makes me really cherish this pairing at such a sky-high level both aesthetically and characteristically.
Much like my AU headcanon involving Mr. Green and Mrs. Bellum-Green, Professor Utonium and Mrs. Keane-Utonium have been married for thirty years but did not end up having Blossom, Buttercup, Bubbles, Bunny, and Bell until September 1, 1992 in comparison to the Greens’ first four sons Brick, Butch, Boomer, and Blitz who were born on August 1, 1990 plus their adopted son Mitch who was born the same day and year as them. Moreover, aside from the five Powerpuff Girls, Professor Utonium and Mrs. Keane-Utonium even have three younger children in the forms of Ken, Sam, and Kasey, thus making them have a total of eight children. Ergo, Professor Utonium and Mrs. Keane-Utonium have firmly established a loving, strong family who have each others’ backs through thick and thin, and combining their careers as educators, they certainly made sure their children were always on the right path both as heroes and as defenders of Townsville.
As parents, Professor Utonium’s conscientiousness, courage, and no-nonsense methods to being a father and Mrs. Keane-Utonium’s kindness, understanding, and moral support would form the bedrock of what defines their family. Additionally, they would even see the best in all of their children. In their eyes, Blossom’s intellect, eloquence, and diplomacy make her a truly upstanding young lady, Buttercup’s toughness, rambunctiousness, and bravery make her stand up to anyone and anything, Bubbles’ kindness, positivity, and grace make her the light of the family, Bunny’s euphoria, positive energy, and lovability make her heal any wounds that may come their way, Bell’s sense of class, composure, and confidence make her charming in her own special way, Ken’s conscientiousness, maturity, and willingness to help make him not only reliable as Professor Utonium’s trusty assistant but also very helpful in the family, Sam’s hopefulness, inspiration, and dignity make him shine with great character, and Kasey’s creativity, innovative mind, and brilliance make her shine so brightly. Both Professor Utonium and Mrs. Keane-Utonium could not have been any prouder to have such wonderful children.
Even as Blossom is married to Boomer, Buttercup is married to Brick, Bubbles is married to Butch, Bunny is married to Mitch, Bell is married to Blitz, Ken is married to Cody, Sam is married to Darren, and Kasey is married to Eric, Professor Utonium and Mrs. Keane-Utonium continue to provide their wisdom and kindness to their grandchildren ranging from 4 going on 5 to 10 going on 11 years old with Mr. Green and Mrs. Bellum-Green helping out. Therefore, the act of passing down the torch makes the Team Xtreme legacy shine ever so brilliantly like the brightest of diamonds.
In conclusion, there is no way I am ever going to part from ProfKeane as my most favorite Townsville couple of all time because of how wonderfully genuine they are together. One can certainly see just how well their children have grown up thanks to how superbly Professor Utonium and Mrs. Keane-Utonium have looked after their children, who have grown up to be upstanding adults with equally great families of their own. Please let me know in the comments below about what you think about Professor Utonium and Ms. Keane being superb parents to The Powerpuff Girls as well as them being a wonderful couple. Until then, see you all in the next submission, and have a great day, everybody.
