I have a quick question for all of you, dear shippers of the Rowdyruff Boys and Powerpuff Girls fandom. What happens when you combine four of my most beloved mono-amorous and, eventually, monogamous couples and two of my most beloved polyamorous and, eventually, polygamous couples? You get my most treasured, beloved, and cherished OTPs to grace the City of Townsville ranging from my most precious color-clash couples (Brickercup, Butchubbles, and Blossoomer), the greatest color-crack couple of all time (Blossutch), the greatest color-code couple of all time (Boomubbles), the greatest normie and Puff couple of all time (Bunnitch), and two of my most beloved normie couples of all time (HarJul and Robike). These are the couples I will always admire, appreciate, cherish, and hold so closely to my heart.
Moreover, as one can tell, these are also the couples I will never ever stop drawing because of how much inspiration I have from all of them and how many ideas and concepts I have in store for all of these wonderfully gorgeous couples. It also helps that I happen to surround myself with friends who are also shippers of Brick x Buttercup, Butch x Bubbles, Butch x Blossom, Boomer x Blossom, Boomer x Bubbles, Mitch x Bunny, Harry x Julie, and Mike x Robin.
I was inspired to create this, much like my other screenshot collage consisting of Uti x Muviro, Namontack x Basuli, and Kocoum x Tarzan, when I browsed through Jdueler11’s shipping collage series and I thought it would be fun to put my own spin on this wonderful concept again. So, I definitely have Jdueler11 to thank for the inspiration in terms of continuing my admiration for all things shipping and for making me see the fun in shipping characters from all of the shows and movies I love.
Now that we have that out of the way, let us briefly talk about all of my most treasured OTPs of Townsville.
Brick x Buttercup (Brickercup): The Hot and Spicy Couple
This is the color-clash couple I have been so consistent with and for good reason. I cannot see these two with anyone else, thus making their strong, rambunctious, and determined personalities an inseparable match made in Heaven.
Butch x Bubbles and Butch x Blossom (Butchubbles and Blossutch): The Toughie, Cutie Couple and The Watermelon Couple
I cannot decide which of these two Butch-related couples is better because these two are gold in my eyes. Butchubbles is an amazing example of how an ingenue with an edge like Bubbles can be able to tame a wild, tough strongman like Butch. Blossutch is phenomenal not only because of how formidable this color-crack couple is but also because of how much heart and soul can be found in this brawny bad boy and brainy beauty couple.
Boomer x Blossom and Boomer x Bubbles (Blossoomer and Boomubbles): The Cotton Candy Couple and The Beautiful in Blue Couple
Second verse same as the first but I will expound what I can see in my most favorite Boomer-related couples. Blossoomer is filled to the brim with genuineness, compassion, understanding, and boundless positivity, thus making this the definition of how relationship goals can be fulfilled with flying colors. Boomubbles will always leave me with a warm, fuzzy feeling because of how much I treasure the Blues as a couple of star-crossed lovers who find happiness with each other.
Mitch x Bunny (Bunnitch): The Hard-as-Rocks and Soft-as-Pillows Couple
Aside from Butchubbles being a great example of an opposites-attract couple, Bunnitch also demonstrates how well Mitch and Bunny can click in spades. Bunny’s sweetness, generosity, and kindness are able to soften Mitch’s heart and Mitch’s strength, toughness, and roughness are the main reasons to keep Bunny alive and well. Therefore, they will definitely protect each other from all harm and endure everything through thick and thin.
Harry Pitt x Julie Bean (HarJul): The Grubby Boy, Cheery Girl Couple
I would not have been extremely inspired to make HarJul my OTP if it were not for the wonderful MissEmmyJay’s inspiration, specifically in one of my most favorite pieces of her work of all time “Doodle- Assigned Dance Class Partners”. Harry Pitt would use his unorthodox charm, kindness, consideration, and attentiveness to be as considerate and loving as he can be to Julie. While Julie would use her cheeriness, perkiness, and lovability to bring joy and sunshine to Harry’s life and maybe help him be and act a little bit more classy.
Mike Believe x Robin Snyder (Robike): The Sweet as Sugar and Good as Gold Couple
Who can ever top Robike’s brand of genuineness, kindness, lovability, and charm? These two would be the perfect example of a couple who started out as childhood sweethearts, had a firm, long-lasting relationship as tweens and teens, and find themselves in a healthy, long-lasting marriage complete with having equally lovable, charming children. Moreover, they would end up being the couple who will end up growing old yet well together.
