Xena About to Kill Miroku

This scared Miroku meme is inspired by gisel179620 and RivaAnime.

Miroku is another Inuyasha character I have an interesting history with. Back when I was an eleven-year-old fifth grader, I did not have a high opinion about him because he just did not resonate with me. Even as I grew to appreciate his awesome yet cursed wind tunnel or Kazaana, which I thought was a cool power to have to the point where I consider to be one of the powers I would love to have, my appreciation for this perverted Buddhist monk was constantly teeter-tottering.

Now, as a 27-year-old attending university, I can say with confidence that Miroku is not as pure nor as great of a friend that he sets himself out to be. Why is that so? First of all, he keeps groping almost every woman he meets to bear his children and not just Sango. Remember Koharu from Episode 41? Yes, she was only eleven years old when fifteen-year-old Miroku asked her to bear his children even after showing kindness to her. He even goes out of his way to ask more young women to ask if any of them can bear his children as a way for him to produce more heirs through them should he be consumed by the wind tunnel, as his “legacy” needs to be fulfilled. So, chances of being a faithful husband are little to zero.

Here is another thing that grinds my gears about Miroku. He constantly takes Kagome’s side even though he is kind of aware of the turbulence that occurred with Inuyasha’s guilty feelings of not protecting Kikyou fifty years ago. Instead of listening to Inuyasha’s side of the story of everything happening between him and Kikyou he chooses to follow Kagome’s lead all because of the “pain” she has to go through. Seriously, he is no true friend at all and there are two other “people” who are not even great friends to Inuyasha to begin with.

Our favorite warrior princess from Amphipolis, Xena, is not going to love who she is going to deal with next. She has heard a lot from the different women Miroku has groped, fondled, and many other perverted deeds that a respectable monk should not always endeavor to do. Heck, Sango even chimed in and stated that she could not stand being constantly groped by that perverted monk. At least, Xena told her to end up with Kouga, who may not be the greatest solution for Sango in her life, but she proudly stated that she would rather be treated like a queen through Kouga than to deal with Miroku and his infidelity.

So, how will Miroku get out of this predicament, especially with his life on the line via Xena’s trusty sword? He could sweet-talk his way out of her, but that would not end too well. He could also seduce her, but she could already catch on to him a mile away. Perhaps the most fate question Miroku could ever ask Xena is if she had the pleasure of bearing his children. This would then lead to Miroku asking the most fatal question he could think of. You can all tell where this is going to go. He would ask Xena if she could bear his children. Xena being absolutely perceptive would already know about Miroku’s horrible reputation when it comes to him and women, as this would lead her to kick the ever-loving crap out of him, tell him that he just asked her the million-dollar question then say no, and raise up her sword threatening and itching to castrate Miroku. Looks like Miroku does not have Lady Luck by his side anymore once Xena enters the picture and he has learned a very huge lesson.

In future, especially after his encounter with Xena, he will abstain himself from groping and fondling other ladies for his own personal want of having children. Moreover, he should endeavor to listen to Inuyasha a lot more and stop buying in to Kagome’s crap.

I hope you all enjoyed this and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, everybody.
