My Updated RRB/PPG/PPNKG Shipping Meme

This Rowdyruff x Powerpuff x Powerpunk shipping meme belongs to one of my very great friends SapphireSonicmaster. This is also one of my annual contributions for Red Ribbon Reviewers.

Red Ribbon

Now, it is time to throw in the Powerpunk Girls, Mitch Mitchelson, Ace and Snake from The Gangreen Gang, and Bud Smith into the mix for which ships I hate the most and which ones I really love.

So, to clear the air out of those crazy lines from this meme, let us get cracking by working our way up from the NOTPs to the OTPs.

NOTPs for Life: The Color-Code RuffPuff Couples

I cannot tell you how deadly bored I am with this set of couples. I have seen way too many fan-related works revolving around these couples, and these days I can no longer see the appeal of them in a romantic relationship. In all of their cases, a friendship works just fine, and I am officially done with these “couples” for good and for all.

Butch x Buttercup (Butchercup)
All right! These two green-clad, ebony-haired, hotheaded toughies need to break it up before the earth starts splitting in two! They are giving me a migraine with their constant loudness, over-competitiveness, and emotional constipation. They are easily the worst color-code couple ever, as there is nothing but animosity, endless anger, and loads upon loads of angst. I had enough of their shouting and they deserve better.

Brick x Blossom (Blossick)
This couple is extremely overrated, as I cannot see the appeal of BlosSick given how huge and prideful their egos are. NEXT!

Boomer x Bubbles (Boomubbles)
I used to love them so much. They did manage to salvage what little left I have for this otherwise overrated set of couples. However, when all is said and done, their whole bond is chalked up to a mere, silly first crush. No more, no less, and I do not want to get into contact with diabetes because of the Blues’ syrupy sentimentality. I have seen and heard enough. They need life partners who can bring a lot more spice and multidimensional flavor.

BroTPs for Life: The Rowdyruff Boys and Mitch, The Powerpuff Girls, The Powerpunk Girls, and Ace, Snake, and Bud

Brick, Butch, Boomer, and Mitch
In my AU headcanon, Mitch is Brick’s, Butch’s, and Boomer’s younger adoptive brother by two weeks. I figure that they will grow from being the rambunctious, fun-loving, tough boys that they were as youngsters to strong, handsome, rugged gentlemen. Moreover, in my AU headcanon, Mr. Green and Ms. Bellum are their parents, so these lads are in great hands. Brick’s large-and-in-charge, determined personality is a great compliment to Butch’s super strength and magnificent muscles, Boomer’s athleticism, sympathy, and goofiness, and Mitch’s rowdiness, roughness, and rambunctiousness. They will definitely have the strongest brotherhood ever, in spite of their occasional arguments.

Blossom, Buttercup, Bubbles, and Bunny
Four lovely ladies who have a strong, loving, supportive, and awesome bond as sisters. One seriously has to thank Professor Utonium and Miss Keane for raising all four of them as their own loving daughters. And, yes, Miss Keane, in my AU headcanon, is the girls’ mother. Blossom’s intelligence, Buttercup’s toughness, Bubbles’ kindness, and Bunny’s sweetness make each other great in every trying time they encounter.

Berserk, Brute, and Brat
These ladies are unafraid to prove their strength in numbers and show just how diva-like, catty, and brash they really are.

Ace, Snake, and Bud
These gentlemen are just as brash, suave, and roguish, thus making them quite a devilish bond.

Neutral Pairings: Ace x Buttercup, Snake x Bubbles, and Bud x Blossom

These pairings have never grown on me. At least in Buttercup’s case, there is a bit of an appeal but it is nothing more than just a silly crush and nothing more.

Liked Pairings: The Color-Crack RuffPuff Couples, Brick x Bunny, and Mitch x Buttercup

Mitch x Buttercup (Mitchercup)
All of their moments together are really nice and do show a lot of potential but I prefer them as really great friends who will stick by each other and be very supportive in all of their endeavors.

Brick x Bunny (Brickunny)
The may not end up in a very serious relationship but at least the cuteness within these two can make for some really lovely fluff.

Boomer x Buttercup (Boomercup)
Lovely role reversal where Buttercup wears the pants in this relationship. Moreover, Boomer can be helpful in terms of getting Buttercup to let go of her aggressive side and Buttercup can help Boomer stand up for himself a lot more. Ergo, there is so much support to be found with these two together.

Brick x Bubbles (Brickubbles)
I could see this as a cute, innocent pairing and a strong friendship rolled into one lovely package. The support, encouragement, and strong bond these two have are off the charts to the point where I would like to keep rooting for their awesome friendship as the closest of in-laws.

Butch x Blossom (Blossutch)
This is still my most favorite of the color-crack couples if only for the amazing synergy and formidability these two have together. I can never go wrong with these two doing everything they can to help each other lead more fruitful and more independent lives.

Anti-Heroic OTPs: SnakeBrat, Aceserk, and BudBrute

Snake x Brat (SnakeBrat)
The spicy lovability for these two is rather off the charts thanks to how surprisingly tight their relationship would end up being.

Ace x Berserk (Aceserk)
Their relationship would indubitably be a great example of belligerent sexual tension done right, as Ace’s roguish charm would easily keep Berserk hypnotized and enthralled.

Bud x Brute (BudBrute)
A couple of misanthropic souls who just love to hate anything and everything but love to have each other to do the you-know-what.

Heroic OTPs: The Color-Clash Couples and Bunnitch

These are the couples I will easily cherish and keep close to my heart for a very long time.

Mitch x Bunny (Bunnitch)
I am aware that this couple is not really as popular as it is. However, I can see a whole lot of greatness with this couple considering how Mitch’s brand of toughness, roguishness, and roughness can help Bunny boost up her self-esteem and how Bunny’s brand of kindness, lovability, and joy can soften Mitch’s heart and give him more reasons to be a better person. There is no doubt that this opposites-attract couple is made of pure win.

Butch x Bubbles (Butchubbles)
Speaking of opposites attracting, this is actually the best example of how magnificently Butch’s marvelous muscles, awesome animal instincts, and super strength can mesh with Bubbles’ outstanding agility, sweet sympathy, and exceeding amicability can break down all the walls that separate them.

Brick x Buttercup (Brickercup)
Their resilience, perseverance, and determination as a tough, glorious couple earn a whole lot of high marks from me. The sheer infallibility of their relationship makes me want to keep rooting for them so much and they will never separate any time soon.

Boomer x Blossom (Blossoomer)
Loyalty, compassion, genuineness, honesty, boundless moral support, and unconditional love are the hallmarks of this triumphant couple who have been making their relationship bear the foundation of loyalty and love in one amazing package. Quality-wise, Boomer and Blossom have so much positivity to offer that they can never afford to be separated because their appreciation and love for each other is far too priceless and precious to shy away from. Henceforth, I would love to keep the love I have Blossoomer increasing and increasing.

There you have it, folks, Brickercup, Butchubbles, Blossoomer, and Bunnitch still reign supreme in my eyes as my most precious, beloved, esteemed OTPs of all time. I hope you all enjoyed this and I will see you in the next submission. Take care and Happy Holidays, everybody.

The Rowdyruff Boys, Mitch Mitchelson, Ace Copular, Snake Ingleberry, Bud Smith, The Powerpuff Girls, and The Powerpunk Girls belong to Craig McCracken and Cartoon Network.
