This motivational poster, which is part of the annual Inuvember submissions, is dedicated to all of my HakKar-shipping friends, fellow artists, and brethren. So, sit back, relax, and soak in that HakKar gorgeousness, loveliness, harmony, and amusement.
This is also my annual Red Ribbon Reviewers contribution for the year of 2019. So, do enjoy this meme I have come up containing one of my most beloved Inuyasha OTPs of all time.
I certainly have my work cut out for me when I say that I am a proud Hakkaku x Karan shipper and I am going to love this couple until my dying day. There is something absolutely enjoyable about having a fun-loving, strong, friendly, and “shrewd” wolf yokai warrior pair up with a sharp-tongued, fiery, independent, and tough Panther Deva. It is as if the gentle earth comforted the angry fire, and used its resources to give warmth to many a mortal soul. In short, Hakkaku and Karan could work as a couple.
The way I see it, at least in my headcanon, is that Hakkaku and Karan would start out as childhood sweethearts. They would protect each other from bullies, monsters, and many other harmful people or things. In terms of the relationship, Karan would easily wear the pants in this dynamic because she would do most of the fighting, most of the negotiations, and most of the talking, which Hakkaku would be completely all right with. Hakkaku would not be a pushover, however, as he would also use his strength to protect Karan from all harm. Therefore, both of them would be extremely grateful to each other, and inspire each other to grow as people with Hakkaku gaining more confidence and independence and Karan gaining more compassion and understanding.
I could see Hakkaku and Karan last for a very long time, in spite of all the circumstances. Moreover, their eldest adopted son Shion would be able to both a strong fighter and supportive trouper, their eldest adopted daughter Mizuki would be the protector of the family complete with excellent reflexes, their eldest biological triplet and twin sons Tetsuya, Takuma, Susuma, Nokoru, and Yusuke would be the muscles of the family who have ended up inheriting Hakkaku’s great physique, their younger biological twin sons Kenichi and Ikimaru would not only be the muscles of the family but also the fierce brawlers who have inherited both their father’s great physique and their mother’s fighting spirit, and their elder and younger triplet and twin daughters Reiko, Ryoko, Yukiko, Sayumi, and Akane are the brawling fire manipulators of the family who have inherited their mother’s pyrokinesis.
In conclusion, I could go out of my way and say that there needs to be a whole lot more love for Hakkaku and Karan as a couple. I hope I am not the only one who feels that way, and I do hope to not only do my part in making more fanart of one of my most beloved Inuyasha OTPs of all time, but I also hope that there will be more HakKar-centered fanart, fanfics, and fan works. So, what are we all waiting for? Let’s spread the HakKar gorgeousness and loveliness.
