This edited screenshot collage is dedicated to all of my wonderful Brickercup, Blossutch, and Boomubbles shipping friends, fellow artists, fans, and brethren. So, soak in that Brickercup epicness, that Blossutch gorgeousness, and that Boomubbles sweetness.
This should come off as no surprise to my longtime followers of my most favorite couples from each RuffPuff pairing category but I can never let go of my undying love, appreciation, and passion for Brickercup, which can also be said for the other color-clash couples seeing that they are the best set of RuffPuff couples ever, Blossutch, which is the best color-crack couple ever, and Boomubbles, which is the best color-coded couple ever. As much as I continue to keep all of the color-clash couples as close to my heart as possible, Blossutch and Boomubbles are just as wonderful with the former displaying a lot more versatility and flexibility.
With that said, I also decided to couple this screenshot collage with some headcanons I have for these three wonderful couples.
Brick x Buttercup (Brickercup): Townsville’s Toughest, Most Rambunctious Power Couple Ever, and the Best Color-Clash Couple Ever
As mentioned before in the previous post, Brick and Buttercup started out as childhood friends grew into being boyfriend and girlfriend as teenagers and ended up having the most long-lasting, most durable relationship among their siblings. They are even very well-known for how passionate they are when it comes to physical activities and action movies complete with a lot of tension and excitement.
Aside from the two sets of sextuplets they had, 29-year-old Brick and 27-year-old Buttercup also have twelve other wonderfully rambunctious, feisty, outspoken, tough scamps they are proud to call their children 6-year-old twins Brina and Brock, 5-year-old twin sons Blaze and Barker, 4-year-old twin sons Brent and Burner, 3-year-old twin daughters Brooke and Brianna, 2-year-old twins Bane and Bethany, and 1-year-old twin daughters Bona and Brenna.
There is no doubt that their younger set of children inherited their mother’s rambunctiousness, feistiness, and impulsiveness and inherited their father’s large-and-in-charge personality and they show it in spades. Brina and Brock always love to have arm-wrestling tournaments with each other, Blaze and Barker enjoy sparring with each other, Brent and Burner also enjoy their sparring sessions, Brooke and Brianna love to wrestle with their teddy bears, Bane and Bethany love listening to Black Sabbath, and Bona and Brenna enjoy playing with their action figures.
It goes without saying that Brick and Buttercup are truly inseparable seeing that they will stay faithful to each other until the end of time.
Butch x Blossom (Blossutch): Townsville’s Sultriest, Most Gorgeous Power Couple Ever, and the Best Color-Crack Couple Ever
Butch and Blossom demonstrate how much strength, genuineness, synergy, and beauty can exist in a relationship. Their trope of being the bad boy hooking up with the bookworm is a tale as old as time but both of them break the mould by being courageous, supportive, loyal, understanding, and compassionate towards each other when push comes to shove.
Starting back in 1997, 7-year-old Butch may have been well-known for his super strength, toughness, roughness, and roguish nature which scared many of his classmates but was fiercely loyal to his brother Brick to the point of dependence. However, he had a softer side to him that no one should ever see and that was his infatuation to 5-year-old Blossom. Blossom may not have known it but Butch really admired how pretty, classy, well-kept, and well-respected she was. Should Butch confess his feelings towards Blossom, he would have faced major humiliation. Luckily for Blossom, considering how perceptive she was as a youth, she understood where Butch was coming from and told him that she liked him, which made Butch blush as red as a tomato.
It was not until 1999 that 9-year-old Butch started to become so sick and tired of being Brick’s lapdog and always depending on him, even if he was one of his most favorite brothers ever. So, Butch turned to the one person who has meant the world to him when they first met each other and she was none other than 7-year-old Blossom. She inspired him to stand his ground, be unafraid to say his piece to Brick, and proved herself to be courageous, diplomatic, and wise enough to lend Butch a listening ear. For that, Butch was forever grateful to have someone like Blossom in his life. This sign of trust, compassion, and diplomacy increased from their tween years all the way up to their teen years from 2005 to 2008 where their relationship was at its strongest. This also helped matters when back in winter 2008, 18-year-old Butch and 16-year-old Blossom were elected as the most gorgeous couple in the annual winter ball. Aside from that, Blossom heavily involved herself in journalism and managed to snag Butch’s triumphs in sports as part of the front page of every school magazine. In turn, Blossom even participated in the twelfth-grade calculus class, thus doing wonders for Butch and his grades in mathematics.
By the time 2011 rolled, 18 going on 19-year-old Blossom graduated from High School and 20 going on 21-year-old Butch was about to start his third year in college. It was at that moment that Butch asked for Blossom’s hand in marriage, which she greatly accepted, and had their honeymoon in Bordeaux, France. As of 2019, 29-year-old Butch and 27-year-old Blossom are the proud parents of super strong, super tough, super intelligent, and absolutely well-rounded children 6-year-old twins Bernadette and Barrett, 5-year-old twin sons Byron and Bertram, 4-year-old twin sons Brendan and Blake, 3-year-old twins Bradley and Belle, 2-year-old twin daughters Brenda and Belinda, and 1-year-old twin daughters Barbara and Bijou.
While Butch enjoys weightlifting, bodybuilding, basketball, football, soccer, wrestling, martial arts, slasher films, and death metal and Blossom enjoys biology, chemistry, physics, Kung-Fu, battoujutsu, karate, judo, opera, classical music, Baroque music, and capoeira, they both have a love for circuit training, swimming, diving, track-and-field, fine art, surreal art films, indie music, and their most favorite activity of all time yoga, considering that their morning routine consists of greetings to the sun exercises. Butch has even shown a surprising skill in playing the guitar and drums, while Blossom can play the piano and the flute at an expert level.
This has even gotten to the point where their children have inherited their parents skills and talents with Bernadette being knowledgable about physics, chemistry, and biology, having a passion for capoeira, and becoming keen on fashion design, Barrett being fascinated with world literature and mixed martial arts, Byron and Bertram becoming interested in physics and martial arts, Brendan and Blake enjoying soccer, basketball, football, and wrestling, Bradley and Belle gaining an interest in playing the piano and the flute, Brenda and Belinda gaining an interest in fashion design combining their love for the elegant and classy with the surreal and macabre, and Barbara and Bijou being involved in chess and checkers.
Butch’s and Blossom’s personalities click exceptionally well and it also helps that they prove themselves to be a formidable duo with Butch’s muscles, strength, and animal instincts meshing well with Blossom’s lethal accuracy, sharp tact, and clear concentration. As combatants, Butch and Blossom are truly an indescribably indestructible force of nature, seeing how easily their enemies can fall to their knees begging for mercy and quivering like the cowards they truly are. Look beyond this source of power and strength found in this brawny, beastly bad boy and brainy, bodacious beauty couple and would see so much synergy and unconditional support brimming from these two souls. Butch has always admired Blossom for her diplomacy, courage, intellect, intuition, and kindness to the point where he will do everything in his power to keep her safe from harm and will be forever indebted to her seeing how she was that one person who inspired Butch to stand up for himself, be his own fighter, and use his strength for protection and the greater good. In turn, Blossom has always admired Butch for his loyalty, offbeat sense of being a gentleman, strength, unconditional moral support, and genuineness whenever he is around her, as she can unapologetically be herself around him and can let loose. Ergo, Butch can easily make sure that Blossom does not get too big for her boots and Blossom can make sure that Butch does not explode over the pettiest of things and can help him live and let live.
Boomer x Bubbles (Boomubbles): Townsville’s Cutest, Most Adorable Power Couple Ever, and the Best Color-Coded Couple Ever
It seemed like the stars aligned to give Boomer and Bubbles a chance to be together as a couple. With their pacifistic personalities, their sense of unconditional love, and an appreciation for the positive things in life, the Blues have definitely become the definition of childhood sweethearts who grew into star-crossed lovers and ended up having a most blissful relationship.
1997 saw the year when 7-year-old Boomer laid his eyes on 5-year-old Bubbles one day in the playground. It was clear as night and day that they fancied each other so much to the point of writing each other letters. Both of them did not care that their respective colleagues were taking the mick out of them because Boomer and Bubbles knew for sure that what they had for each other was far more precious than gold. From their playdates in the petting zoo to going on rides to the amusement park, Boomer and Bubbles proved to the world that they were meant to be.
Between 1998 to 2002, Boomer’s and Bubbles’ appreciation for each other grew in a much deeper level to the point where Boomer made a vow to Bubbles that he will be strong for her, protect her from all harm, and be the bedrock in her life. Bubbles was definitely overjoyed to hear those words coming from Boomer’s mouth to the point where she made a promise to him that once they get married they will have their honeymoon in Tokyo while also touring different parts of Japan. It also helped that the teen years between 2005 to 2008 showed just how strong Boomer’s and Bubbles’ relationship really was to the point where they won the title of being the cutest couple in the 2008 winter ball. Even all throughout Middle School and High School, Boomer and Bubbles got themselves into not only sports where Boomer would play basketball, football, soccer, baseball, hockey, and do wrestling with Bubbles being the cheerleader but they also involved themselves in the arts, theater, and literature usually with Boomer on his guitar and Bubbles singing a lot lovely ditties on the bongos.
Everything that Boomer and Bubbles have built on came into a head in 2011 when 18 going on 19-year-old Bubbles graduated from High School and 20 going 21-year-old Boomer was approaching his third year in college. Boomer got down on one knee and professed his love for Bubbles, which she accepted in a very overjoyed manner. As promised when they were young, Boomer and Bubbles were married and they had their honeymoon in Tokyo, Japan while exploring the other islands. As of 2019, 29-year-old Boomer and 27-year-old Bubbles have twelve gregarious, loving, creative children 6-year-old twin sons Bailey and Barley, 5-year-old twin daughters Bonnie and Brittany, 4-year-old twin sons Ben and Bronson, 3-year-old twins Brody and Birdie, 2-year-old twins Beckett and Bali, and 1-year-old twin daughters Belina and Blondine.
The Blues are a clear-cut example of creative, artistic, and enthusiastic minds coming together to make a lot of music, magic, and charm in one harmoniously beautiful symphony. Sure, Boomer is into track-and-field, football, soccer, basketball, weightlifting, circuit training, hockey, swimming, jet-skiing, sculpting, architecture, and is a major shonen anime fan with titles such as Dragonball Z, YuYu Hakusho, Hajime no Ippo, Baki the Grappler, Street Fighter II V, Bleach, and Attack on Titan while Bubbles is into capoeira, gymnastics, volleyball, cheerleading, swimming, visual arts, diving, interpretive dance, J-Pop, K-Pop, and is a major shojo anime fan with titles such as Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Ultra Maniac, and Madoka Magica, but they both love manga and anime such as Naruto, Inuyasha, One Piece, One Punch Man, Detective Conan, Assassination Classroom, Watamote, and Ranma 1/2 as well as being in fluent in several languages including Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Tagalog, Malay, and the language of various animals.
This has gotten to the point where their children are displaying a passion for the artistic, creative, and performative from Bailey and Barley engaging themselves in track-and-field and performing various death-defying stunts, Bonnie and Brittany immersing themselves in Enka, Ben and Bronson learning how to play the guitar, Brody and Birdie taking an interest in writing poems, Beckett and Bali expressing an interest in sketching and painting, and Belina and Blondine having a go at creating origami.
Considering how exceptionally well Boomer’s and Bubbles’ personalities click they support each other through thick and thin. Boomer has always admired Bubbles for her kindness, compassion, generosity, creativity, and purity while Bubbles has always admired Boomer for his super strength, super athleticism, talent in music especially where singing and playing the guitar are concerned, and how self-sacrificing he is when he goes out of his way to protect Bubbles from all forms of harm.
