This piece of Blossoomer, Brickercup, Butchubbles, Bunnitch, HarJul, and Robike fan art, which is my submission for kuraikitsune13’s and Powerpuff-Nation’s annual PPG Winter Contest, is dedicated to VishKeks, Crackshipper1047, cartoonmaniack, MikuChanFan39, nandomendonssa, and Rinnii who celebrated their birthdays ranging from a few days ago all the way up to today.
So, I hope you all had and are having such magnificently glorious birthday celebrations, and I wish you a lot of love, joy, prosperity, abundance, hope, and strength in your lives as artists and as people.
This is also dedicated to all of the wonderful Blossoomer, Brickercup, Butchubbles, Bunnitch, HarJul, and Robike shippers out there. So, sit back, relax, and soak in that Blossoomer beauty, that Brickercup resilience, that Butchubbles adorability, that Bunnitch lovability, that HarJul cuteness, and that Robike sweetness.
Here we have 29 going on 30-year-olds Boomer Green, Brick Green, Butch Green, Mitch Mitchelson, Harry Pitt, and Mike Believe with their 27 going on 28-year-old wives Blossom Utonium-Green, Buttercup Utonium-Green, Bubbles Utonium-Green, Bunny Utonium-Mitchelson, Julie Bean-Pitt, and Robin Snyder-Believe being the absolutely charming, endearing couples that they are. When these six couples are not fighting crime, saving the world from peril, doing many other heroic deeds, and taking great care of their children for them to know right from wrong, they see a perfect opportunity to ice-skate every cold winter in The City of Townsville. As one can tell, winter romance is on full show.
As one can tell from the title, “Les Patineurs Valse” known in English as “The Skaters’ Waltz”, this is also the same title of the orchestral piece composed by the Frenchman Émile Waldteufel. I grew up with this piece when I first heard it as a young child on the Popeye the Sailor episode “Seasin’s Greetinks”, as it also reminded me of the wintery romance and sweetness to be found in this particular piece. I always have a huge smile on my face every time I listen to this, and I thought that this orchestral piece can be of great use to six of my most beloved Townsville OTPs of all time.
Without further ado, please endeavor to sit back, relax, and listen to this charmingly popular orchestral piece, which can warm anyone’s heart during these cold winters.
