I have always been a Chamiko shipper ever since I was about 13 or 14 years old. There was something about this pairing that screamed sensual and exciting in ways one could never imagine. In fact, I never shipped Kimiko with Raimundo because it was boring beyond belief. Chamiko or Chase Young x Kimiko Tohomiko is that sensation of going to a remarkably exotic vacation and gathering a whole lot of fond and wonderful memories to remember for generations to come. There was also that element of nobility, challenging each other to grow as both individuals and as a couple, that power couple sensation, where they are not all about muscle, but of accuracy, conscientiousness, and lethal timing in their attacks, and the spicy moments of intimacy Chase and Kimiko would have.
So, ladies and gentlemen, here we have 38 going on 39-year-old Chase Young and his 32 going on 33-year-old wife, Kimiko Tohomiko-Young, being the sexy, elegant, gorgeous, and deviously naughty power couple they are. Their authority and intimacy should never be questioned unless you want to see a river of flames. Therefore, when Chase and Kimiko strike, they strike in a deadly manner.
Chase’s and Kimiko’s relationship started out when Kimiko reached the age of 16 years old. Ever since she first encountered Chase before her sixteenth birthday, she felt a lot of feelings of being enamored because of his strength and determination, but also despising because of how much of a bastard he was. Chase, being the perceptive combatant he was, was conscientious of Kimiko’s fluttering teenage girl emotions and stated to her that he knows she cannot have enough of him and reminded her that the choice has always been hers to find out if she really wanted to start a relationship with him. Kimiko knew in her heart that she never saw Raimundo as her equal because of how cocky and reckless he tended to be. Clay and Omi were like the brothers she never had, with Clay being the lovable, protective older brother and Omi being the mouthy, excitable younger brother. At times, Kimiko was tired of feeling like she had to be the only sane woman in the group and needed someone who could respect her for not just being a girl, but a fighter and an overall person.
Despite priding himself on being evil, Chase at least understood how Kimiko felt at that tender age and never forced her to begin a relationship with him. He acknowledged how much of a strong, courageous, and independent fighter she was and was never a damsel in distress. Furthermore, he did show some empathy towards Kimiko for feeling like she was the only sane woman among her “brothers from other mothers”. After Kimiko turned 16, she finally admitted that she did like Chase, but was not overly enamored with him. She respected him and Chase respected her back.
Months passed and that respect turned into admiration in the fact that Chase and Kimiko found common ground in their interests in warfare, politics, history, architecture, fashion, ancient Asian literature, and, most of all, martial arts. There was a discipline which made them truly unstoppable, as Chase had the intuition and Kimiko the speedy execution. Their foes never knew peace when they struck because they would be utterly stupid to ever want to challenge both Chase and Kimiko. Their idea of a romantic date was making love to each other after defeating their enemies in battle in their incense-strewn chamber.
As Chinese New Year’s came, as well as several months of dating, Kimiko thought it was high time for her to be married to Chase. Chase accepted her hand in marriage and were in their finest attire in a traditional Ming Dynasty-style marriage complete with pomp, elegance, and the gentry arriving to bless the newlyweds.
As Chase turned 23 and Kimiko turned 17, she gave birth to her first pair of children, which were boys they christened as Haru and Haku, as they were born in springtime and their names had a nice ring to them. Haru had his father’s hair color and his mother’s eye color. Furthermore, he could shape shift and produce fire attacks with such finesse. Haku had his father’s eyes and his mother’s hair. He was also a shapeshifter and a fire manipulator.
With Chase and Kimiko being lord and lady of the Heylin, they have complimented each other very well, with Kimiko using her intuition to soothe her husband and his signature fist. Aside from being parents to 15 going on 16-year-old sons Haru and Haku, they are also parents to 14 going on 15-year-old sons Goji and Genji, 13 going on 14-year-old sons Jun and Jin, 12 going on 13-year-old triplet daughters Izumi, Inami, and Ikumi and 10 going 11-year-old triplet daughters Mei, Mie, and Maki. Together, they are one huge, prosperous family who display decorum, class, and can kick anybody’s butt who dares betray them.
In conclusion, Chase and Kimiko are not just fabulous in their cashmere robes as a means to demonstrate their affluence and influence, but also walk the walk in terms of never giving up and exuding confidence in everything they do as a warlord and his warrior lady.
