This scared Kagome meme was inspired by menslady125. Furthermore, this Halloween week is dedicated to defecating all over my least favorite anime heroine of all time, Kagome “the whiny, bratty, stupid manipulator” Higurashi.
If there is one person I would love to thank for having the Blue Creature from the Courage the Cowardly Dog episode “Perfect” scaring the absolute crap out of Kagome, it would have to be Dolly-Kay. I knew from the back of my mind that this thing was going to deservedly scar Kagome for life by saying she is not perfect. After all, this woman-child deserves to be knocked down by several pegs.
Yes, we have seen Kagome the sloppy, useless, and stupid excuse of a heroine get maimed, eaten alive, and have a lot of horrible things happen to her body, but to have a thing that eviscerates her soul and makes her wish for death to arrive at her door is just as satisfying.
It knows how to drive home the fact that this poor excuse of a heroine has been screwing this up without taking accountability of her actions. However, she is not willing to admit all of the crummy deeds she has done. Enter the Blue Creature who will scare her straight by torturing her mind. As for Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and Ayame, they can just sit back and watch the freak show of the Blue Creature ensuring that Kagome does not harm their sacred bond any time soon. After all, Kagome is better off broken on the inside.
All in all, the Blue Creature did its work by giving a stern reminder to Kagome that she was not perfect. She thought she could get away with putting all the blame on Inuyasha, starting this whole Shikon Jewel search mess, and manipulating her posse into thinking that Inuyasha “hurt her feelings”, but the Blue Creature is not so easily fooled. So, he has been feeding on Kagome’s crippling mind and all that has been left of her was an emotionally-broken wench who turned pale and ashy after her encounter with this thing.
