Here we have 31 going on 32-year-old Kohaku and his 28 going on 29-year-old wife Rin being the absolutely mighty power couple that they are. As one can tell, they are emulating their greatest role models, which in Kohaku’s case is his dear old father-in-law Inuyasha and in Rin’s case is her exceptional mother Ayame. Inuyasha and Ayame are certainly proud of their progeny for growing to be such powerful warriors and they have trained them well.
Kohaku, who in my AU headcanon is one of Shuran’s sons, has certainly built a lot of muscle as he growing up. Thanks to having Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Hakkaku, Inuyasha, and Ginta helping him bulk up, spar in various martial arts, and speed up in his reflexes, Kohaku has a courage, bravado, an virility which makes all of his enemies weak in the knees. Out of all of Kohaku’s role models, Inuyasha has always been the one he wanted to emulate the most thanks to his strength and valor. Those wrestling and boxing matches, weightlifting competitions, Pankration brawls, and iron-pumping have helped Kohaku gain in fortitude and he has dear old father-in-law Inuyasha to thank so much from the bottom of his heart. His second father-in-law, Sesshoumaru, also did him well by training him in meditation, Pankration, and various martial arts and helped him tone his body and mind to reach its maximum potential. His father, Shuran, also made sure that Kohaku remained as strong as ever and his uncles, Hakkaku and Ginta, made sure that he did not skimp out on his speed.
Rin has certainly emulated her mother dearest, Ayame, to the nines, especially where he wolf yokai warrior outfit is concerned. Sesshoumaru and especially Inuyasha and Ayame have done so exceedingly well in raising Rin to be as courageous, formidable, and persistent as ever. Ergo, Rin went from being a sweet, lovable young girl to a fierce, tough, formidable woman who still has her signature sweetness inside her. Given all the boxing and kickboxing matches, marathon running, swimming, diving, and circuit training Ayame and Rin have been doing, Rin has grown up to be very healthy as a warrior and as a person. Enemies have no escape when Rin has her fists, feet, and lightning speed to take them down. Furthermore, her aunt, Shunran, also made sure that Rin respected and preserved nature by teaching her horticulture, medicine, and an appreciation of nature. Therefore, Rin is well-rounded beyond compare.
As a couple, Kohaku and Rin have been in a healthy one ever since they started off as childhood sweethearts and ended up in a serious relationship when Kohaku was 16 and when Rin was 13. Two years later, Kohaku and Rin were married in The Northern Yoro Tribe, with Inuyasha and Ayame blessing their marriage and bestowing them the strength and wisdom to thrive as powerful warriors.
They are parents to 13 going on 14-year-old triplet sons Matsuo, Mikio, and Mutsuro, 12 going on 13-year-old triplet sons Eijiro, Eikichi, and Eiriho, 11 going on 12-year-old twin sons Kanuo and Kazuo, 10 going on 11-year-old triplet daughters Kaoruko, Kairiko, and Katsuko, 9 going on 10-year-old twin daughters Naoko and Natsuko, and 8 going on 9-year-old twin daughters Emiko and Eriko. All of their sons are trained, prodigious, and formidable demon slayers and all of their daughters are also demon slayers as well as healers. Their family is a marvelous combination of sympathetic, loving, focused, determined, and formidable. Nothing can stop them.
In conclusion, Kohaku and Rin have gone from being a couple of adorable lovebirds as children to being a formidable power couple in their adult years. My word, have they grown up so astoundingly.
