I am certain you are aware of what constitutes Inuyasha’s and Ayame’s strong, long-lasting, and utterly loving relationship. The attributes which constitute their relationship are loyalty, fidelity, authenticity, compassion, unconditional love, attentiveness, and understanding. Through these attributes, nobody and nothing can ever break them apart. Inuyasha and Ayame knew it when they were children and so did their male role models, specifically The Wolf Elder, The Dog General, and the members of The Northern Yoro Tribe. Even Sesshoumaru is extremely supportive of his younger brother being in a harmonious relationship with Ayame, though he does also fancy her.
It is also saying something that their fidelity and loyalty are just as strong as their physicality and combat prowess. Should anyone be so brazen to break them up, Inuyasha and Ayame would definitely dispose of their detractors. Therefore, they are maximally passionate to make sure that their relationship remains as steady and stable as ever.
