This screenshot demotivational poster is highly, highly, highly Anti-KogAya, Anti-Kouga, but also Pro-Ayame, Pro-InuAya, Pro-SessAyaInu, and Pro-Rin. So, sit back, relax, and revel in the evisceration I have in store for one of my most despised NOTPs of all time.
I will say this once and I will say this again. I absolutely hate KogAya with the passion of a million suns. There is nothing courageous or valorous about Kouga that would persuade Ayame to be utterly indebted to him. If there is anything about Kouga that should make Ayame avoid him like the plague, it should be the mere fact that he got away completely scot-free from murder, especially one that he committed towards an innocent girl in the form of Rin, implemented cheap cheats with the aid of the Shikon Jewel shards without relying on his own strength, was a thoroughly cowardly loser who was all talk and no action, and abdicated his duties of avenging his comrades from being killed by Naraku and Kagura all because he was deprived of his Shikon Jewel shards. Ergo, Ayame does not deserve to be with this pathetic loser of a wolf yokai warrior who should have paid for his crimes in the first place and Kouga never stood a chance with Ayame to begin with.
I do not have to describe how disgusted and horrified Ayame would have been if she found out about Kouga’s pernicious deeds, as she does not deserve to be with such a loathsome creature such as him. The fact that Kouga was nothing more than a measly coward who was all talk and no action should have served as red flags for Ayame to avoid Kouga like the plague and she really should do so for her own good. Moreover, the mere fact that a child like Rin was fed to Kouga’s wolves all because he was a voracious bully who ended up getting away with murder should be enough for Ayame’s motherly instinct to kick in and give him his just desserts. An innocent orphaned girl like Rin did not deserve to be mauled like this, even though Sesshoumaru thankfully revived her with the Tenseiga and became one of his traveling companions next to Jaken and Ah-Un. The putrid slime icing on top of this foul-smelling, ammoniac-containing, moldy cheesecake is how Kouga failed to use Goraishi in order to avenge his fallen comrades and to help Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and the others defeat Naraku and ran off like the pathetic, ball-less, inglorious bastard he was. Therefore, Ayame ditching Kouga for good and for all and leaving this murderer to die alone would make a greater happy ending for her instead of the farce of a marriage they got themselves into.
So, with Ayame’s hopes with Kouga thankfully dashed in the dust, she would make it her endeavor to be a great part of Sesshoumaru’s and especially Inuyasha’s lives as their wife and an exceptionally loving mother especially to Rin. Sure, her intimacy with Sesshoumaru would be spicy, passionate, and the most beautiful sight ever because she is so happy to be with a noble, upstanding gentleman like him, but her intimacy with Inuyasha would be exciting, thrilling, and filled to the brim with unconditional love because she feels safe with a powerful, formidable, Alpha Male warrior like him. In terms of being a mother, Ayame would find herself being the world’s greatest mom to Rin and not just Rin’s dashing older brothers Dai, Roku, and Kai, Rin’s caring younger sister Shiori, and Rin’s lovable younger brother Shinta. Ayame would safeguard Rin’s life, want the best for her, and help her to grow in courage, strength, valor, compassion, kindness, hope, determination, and perseverance. That right there would be the wonderfully stable family life Ayame would be achieving to the nines, thus bringing a lot of joy and love to Sesshoumaru’s and Inuyasha’s lives and giving Rin a happy home by being the great mother she can be towards her most beloved eldest daughter.
In conclusion, I am not sorry when I say that KogAya sucks a lot of ass! This pairing stinks to high heaven because of how much of a cowardly loser Kouga was and Ayame truly deserves someone better, especially since she can use her valor, courage, and strength to be a noble wife to Sesshoumaru, a supportive wife to Inuyasha, and the greatest mother she can be especially to her most beloved eldest daughter, Rin. KogAya cannot do shit for me in terms of the failure I can see flourishing from this horrid fart of a relationship.
