This demotivational screenshot poster is highly, and I mean, highly Anti-KogAya or Anti-KouAya. If you like this pairing, either take what I have to say with a grain of salt or just do not bother reading this because these are all my opinions. Furthermore, this is also highly Anti-Kouga, though do expect a few Pro-Sesshoumaru, Pro-Inuyasha, Pro-Rin, Pro-SessAya, Pro-InuAya, and Pro-SessAyaInu moments to pop out of this. Sit back, relax, and revel with sadistic glee in the evisceration I have in store for one of my biggest NOTPs of all time.
Every time I set my eyes on Inuyasha: The Final Act Episode 26 and especially the scene where Kouga and Ayame ended up getting “married”, a few thoughts popped into my head.
First of all, Kouga did not even buck up to use his Goraishi in order to become a full-fledged ally to Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and the rest of the gang to vanquish Naraku once and for all. When the Shikon Jewel shards in his legs were deprived of him by Naraku during the time Kikyou legitimately ended up transcending the flesh also by Naraku’s slimy, bloodstained hands, he was not mourning for Kikyou, but he was whining about being deprived of his precious jewel shards right before Kikyou dissolved into the afterlife for good. The next day had Kouga up and leaving the gang in an unceremonious fashion, thus proving himself to be nothing more than a pathetic, piece-of-crap weakling who did not build up his own strength as opposed to Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, who really had to go through Hell and back to strengthen the powers they had on their respective swords, with Sesshoumaru receiving the Bakusaiga and Inuyasha further pushing Tessaiga to stronger and more formidable heights. Therefore, Kouga leaving like that was really pathetic.
Secondly, speaking of Goraishi, how could he have had wasted such a perfect opportunity to use that legendary weapon? Oh, wait! That was because he had the Shikon Jewel shards in his legs to further propel his strength and speed in order to obtain that without having to suffer so much on his own terms! This is such a major cop-out to how much he would have had to go through in order to fully deserve that legendary weapon, which he did not in the slightest iota.
Thirdly, how dare he constantly have the opportunity to scoff at Inuyasha who so much stronger and braver than he could ever be, when in reality, Kouga was nothing more than a horribly pathetic weakling. While we are at it, do not ever make me compare this sorry excuse of wolf turd to the majestic awesomeness of Sesshoumaru because, let us all face it, Sesshoumaru can easily take Kouga’s life without batting an eye after what he found out about the crime he committed towards Rin before her revival via the Tenseiga.
Fourthly, what about that nefarious deed he and his underlings did to the village and especially towards Rin? What type of punishment did Kouga get for that crime? You guessed it. Absolutely nothing. He got off scot-free and only “turned to the good side” because he was more than impressed by Kagome’s ability to sense the Shikon Jewel shards. If I were Sesshoumaru and/or Inuyasha, I would have driven my poison claws to Kouga’s flesh and kill him right on the spot as payback for what he did, especially to Rin.
Fifth, after his Shikon Jewel shards were taken away, it seemed like he forgot about his duties in avenging his fallen comrades at the hands of Naraku and Kagura. For someone who swore his oath to have avenged his fallen brothers, he failed miserably and deserves to have a huge, foul serving of dishonor and shame shoved right into his insolent face!
Sixth, what did Ayame even see in this cowardly Karma Houdini? Sure, he “proposed” to her, but he ended up developing feelings for Kagome, who he treated more like a princess than he did towards Ayame. Considering all that happened, I think Ayame would have seen Kouga for who he truly was and that was a miserable, low-down, good-for-nothing, unmanly, big-talking blowhard who bragged about defeating Naraku, when he actually did not rise above the challenge to use his own strength to defeat that dastardly villain and it was Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Kagome, Kohaku, Rin, Jaken, and Shippou who did the work of doing everything they can to put an end to Naraku’s reign of terror. If I were Ayame, I would dump his weak ass and will myself to join Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and Rin to form one nice family and never settle for another pathetic weakling ever again.
All in all, you all can tell that everything I am saying about this pathetic, hopeless, loathsome, weak-ass, cowardly, incompetent, sissy scumbag of a wolf turd is laced with a venom so poisonous, so toxic, so deadly, and so fatal that one bite from my poisoned fangs can mean sudden death and can rival any Black Widow Spider or Black Mamba. In fact, all Kouga deserves is to die a shameful death and have his four-flushing carcass eaten by demon rats. Oh yes, my friends, Kouga has definitely brought out the visceral hatred and lustful loathing within my heart seething and crying out for vengeance for all the souls Kouga and his wolves killed as well as his fallen comrades and probably for good, as he does deserved to be destroyed once and for all.
All right. I know what I have been saying has been super, super Anti-Kouga, but going to KogAya itself, it was definitely doomed from the start. How did Kouga even patch things up with Ayame, despite still having feelings for Kagome? My best answer is this was to give him the “happily ever after” ending he did not deserve in the slightest because he did not will himself to let go of his obsession of the Shikon Jewel shards and step up as a true Alpha Male wolf warrior.
Even when Kouga stated that he did not even remember also showed me how much of a fool he turned out to be. As for Ayame, I firmly believe she should have just moved on from him and stop pursuing him. This would also be a lesson for her to realize that young love, let alone your first love, is not going to end up being your forever person, especially when Kouga does bear a lot of skeletons in the closet.
If she truly knows which warrior is best for her tribe, she needs to pick a much stronger and more formidable mate, whether it is Sesshoumaru and his brand of aristocratic class and lethal stealth or Inuyasha and his phenomenal brute strength and sheer determination or even have both these awesome dog yokai warrior brothers to be in a glorious polyamorous relationship. The elegant decorum, class, style, and chivalry Sesshoumaru shall gladly offer to Ayame and the unconditional love, moral support, boundless encouragement, and relentless passion Inuyasha is more than willing to give to Ayame are enough for her to be truly grateful that these two dashingly courageous dog yokai warrior brother studs exist in great, harmonious ecstasy in her life. Ergo, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha definitely know what is best for Ayame and Ayame knows what is best for both Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha.
Where Rin is concerned, she would be very grateful to have three canine yokai warrior guardians to protect her from all harm, feel safe under their wing, and be thoroughly encouraged to build up her overall strength as a warrior. Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and Ayame will be indebted to her because of the compassion and understanding she has for them and the same positive facets that these three canine yokai warriors have for her. Sesshoumaru shall see to it that Rin knows exactly how she is targeting her opponents. Inuyasha shall ensure that Rin builds up her physical strength to take down any opponent. Finally, Ayame shall give Rin those exceptional mother-daughter challenges in the form of running marathons to test her speed. Therefore, Rin would not only have the greatest Inugami-mochi she has ever had, but also the most supportive, most loving, and most compassionate parents in the whole world.
It is safe to say that Kouga deserves all of my boundless wrath, ire, and venom, while Ayame deserves all of my empathy, understanding, and all the pep-talks I can give her in order for her to move on to much healthier and more fulfilling relationships all while being the independent, fierce, strong soul that she is. The inner Diva from Musical Hell in me would love to give this punishment to Kouga as well as his ruthless underlings, but give this reward to Ayame that she solely deserves. Just add in Dai, Roku, and Kai to be her older brothers, Shiori to be almost like her twin sister, Shinta to be her younger brother, and Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha to be her youngest sisters and Rin would have a family she would be more than proud to call her own.
For starting a massacre in a village, ordering his underlings to gorge on whoever they see, being an insufferable bully of a blowhard, being a huge sissy in tough guy’s garb, not taking full advantage of the Goraishi, for failing to avenge his fallen comrades at the hands of Naraku and Kagura, and for getting scot-free from his crimes, I condemn Kouga to be stripped off his wolf yokai warrior pride, banished from the tribe, have a bunch of demons and angry villagers tear him limb from limb with their bare hands, and put his head on a pike as a prize for avenging the deaths of all the villagers he killed, especially Rin. To make it even better, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha shall deliver the final poisonous blow to Kouga’s weak jugular and have their claws and fangs sink into his flesh for a most satisfying death. Kouga will certainly have no way to run when Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha have their eyes glow a furious red and tear him limb from limb with their own bare hands.
For being complicit in this nefarious deed of murdering Rin, I condemn Kouga’s rogue wolves to be swallowed whole by Royakan and have them be digested by his stomach acids. Therefore, when they come out of his mouth, they will forget their nasty deed and be his servant.
Finally, to Ayame. Honey, you were definitely much too strong, too awesome, too powerful, too beautiful, and too fantastic to end up with such a loathsome sissy like Kouga. Now that he is gone for good and for all, you get an awesome prize from me that is filled to the brim with honor and a whole ton of family love. For your courage, relentless spirit, fierce strength, and overall beauty of heart, you get to receive both Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha to be your lawfully-wedded husbands, Dai, Roku, and Kai to be your eldest sons, Rin and Shiori to be your daughters, Shinta to be your younger son, and Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha to be your youngest daughters. The Dog General and The Wolf Elder will be very blessed to see the bloodline growing much stronger than ever. By the power invested in Toga the Dog General and Choro the Wolf Elder, I dub thee Ayame, Lady of the Northern Yoro Tribe and The Western Lands. Go and live in peace with your two dashing, elegant, and awesome husbands and your darling, lovable adopted children.
