Well, well, well, Sango the demon slayer. She really had promise to grow as a strong, fierce, independent, and formidable character who can open a huge can of whoop-ass. However, her tendency to be easily manipulated, inability to decipher what was real and what was fake, her constant groveling at Kagome’s feet because she thought she was someone special, and her actually being such a crappy friend to Inuyasha despite her stating that she wants to be by his side after Sesshoumaru stopped Inuyasha from going über feral made her absolutely weak in my eyes. The other facet that ground my gears about Sango was that she ended up being nothing more than a breeding mare to a certain perverted Buddhist monk who was just as irritating, in spite of the many times she has knocked him for continuously groping her.
As I stated many times before, Sango did have potential to grow and I did enjoy how much of a capable, formidable, and well-rounded combatant she was who was, in turn, unafraid to let her vulnerabilities be on show for us, the viewers, to empathize with her. However, her weaknesses as a person ranging from her being one of Kagome’s posse to stupidly risking her life for someone who has been groping her without her consent to finally ending up as a breeding mare to said groper made my respect for Sango decrease by more than a mile.
Enter Mrs. Wicket who will teach Sango a thing or two about being a true, strong, independent warrior by roughing her up with her bare hands.
Who better to tell all of the details about Sango to Mrs. Wicket than Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Kohaku, and Rin.
Sesshoumaru would describe how Sango was easily manipulated by Naraku to kill Rin in order to save Miroku, even though Rin has gone through death two times in the series.
Kohaku would confirm this to be true because of how easy it was for Naraku to twist the truth in order for his sister to be manipulated and, therefore, use Rin as a sacrifice to save Miroku the perverted monk.
Rin would also confirm all of this as true, even though she would not wish for Sango to be brutally pummeled. Nevertheless, that message kind of fell on deaf ears for Mrs. Wicket because of what Rin had to go through.
Inuyasha would state that Sango tried to sit him much like Kagome did, but it did not work. The worst parts were that she tried to kill him because she thought that Inuyasha was behind Kohaku’s death and all of the other atrocities towards her clan and was a false friend through it all because she never defended him against Kagome’s abuse towards him.
Finally, Ayame would say that Sango may have been a very strong and capable fighter, but she was an overall lousy friend and someone who was a weakling on the inside for falling for Naraku’s manipulations hook line and sinker.
All of the information Mrs. Wicket ended up obtaining from Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Kohaku, and Rin sufficed to give Sango the beating she deserved.
Sango may be a formidable opponent for Mrs. Wicket, but neither her Hiraikotsu nor her katana nor her hands nor her feet would take down such a powerful and angry old English landlady.
This would leave Mrs. Wicket to rain down a massive barrage of punches towards Sango until she ended up bloodied, bruised, black-eyed, and completely mutilated, thus having Mrs. Wicket emerge as the victor and Sango wallow like the loser she really is.
Sango then lays motionless, as her so-called demon slayer pride was crushed by an old landlady hailing from England.
I hope you all enjoyed Mrs. Wicket pummeling that poor excuse and sheep of a demon slayer seeing that she was not so strong after all.
Take care, stay safe, and do not ever get on Mrs. Wicket’s bad side or else you will have your pride ripped straight from you just like Sango.
