This screenshot demotivational poster is highly, highly Anti-Kouga, Anti-Kagome, but pro-KogKag. So, sit back, relax, and discover why I love shipping these two dingbats together, even though they do not reach OTP standards in stark comparison to Kouga x Sango and Bankotsu x Kagome.
When I was a lot younger, I always preferred Kouga and Kagome to hook up because of how well he treats her and how they have this mutuality going on together.
Nowadays, as an adult, my perverse admiration for these fools in love has reached really twisted, deranged heights because of how their horrid characterizations compliment each other magnificently well. From Kouga being this wimpy bluff of a Karma Houdini to Kagome being this whiny shrew in distress, I can see these two having their honeymoon in Hell!
Granted, Kouga mainly saw Kagome as wife material because of how she can sense the Shikon Jewel shards, and was just trying to be an ass-kisser just for Kagome to be by his side once and for all. How this whole shebang will end up if Kouga and Kagome were to hook up is questionable, especially in the long run, but given how these two are magnificent failures in battle, I would say they could endeavor to hook up for good and settle for a life together.
All potshots directed on Kouga and Kagome aside, at least they treat each other well, as opposed to Inuyasha’s and Kagome’s grating, irritating, an soul-sucking bickering and Kouga’s and Ayame’s not-so-great relationship with each other to the point where she truly deserves someone more loyal, stronger, and more protective than Kouga the loser wolf yokai warrior. Ergo, in another lifetime, Kouga and Kagome might as well be my OTP for life because of how this wolf numb nut and this dumbass in distress can complete each other’s lives in the most perverse way possible.
In conclusion, I am not going to be sorry for keeping these two wusses together. They deserve each other from the head of the earth all the way down to the deep, fiery pits of Hell!
