This motivational poster is dedicated to all of my Maugli-loving friends, fellow artists, fans, and brethren. So, sit back, relax, and soak in Maugli’s brand of vibrant virility.
I remember stumbling upon The Adventures of Mowgli or Maugli in Russian on YouTube and I was completely floored by one scene, which is Mowgli wrestling with Shere Khan and breaking his jaw with his bare hands akin to Samson’s battle with the lion, thus ending his reign of terror. That scene made me feel completely enamored with this version of Mowgli to the point where I stated that the Russian animated film version was the best adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book because I got to see Maugli grow from being a rambunctious, mischievous young boy to a heroic, determined man with a dashing, chiseled physique to boot.
Because I loved Maugli so much due to his super strength, athleticism, agility, and dashing good looks, I saw it fit to make him be in my Waziri headcanon as the youngest brother of Tarzan, Basuli, George of the Jungle, Kaj, and Simba with Chief Keewazi as his human father and Mufasa as his lion father. Moreover, he would even have best friends in the forms of Kuwanga, Wasimbu, Nomonga, Mawunga, Waranji, and Chowambi, and have a wonderfully competitive relationship with them.
I can only imagine the many posedowns and wrestling matches he would have with George of the Jungle, Basuli, and Tarzan as his most favorite brothers and sparring partners, and even have many moments where they would go feral along with Simba and Kaj, especially in moments involving hunting for their prey or scaring of poachers and invaders. There is no shadow of a doubt that with the help of his brothers, he can be just as powerful as them in the most magnificent ways possible.
In conclusion, I can never go wrong with Maugli. His fierceness, headstrong personality, dashingly chiseled physique, and charisma make him my most favorite version of The Jungle Book’s main hero. Here is also hoping that there will be more love and fan art given to this brave jungle stud.
I hope you all enjoyed this and I will see you in the next submission. Take care and stay safe, everybody.
Maugli and Shere Khan from The Adventures of Mowgli belong to Rudyard Kipling, Roman Davydov, Leonid Belokurov, and Soyuzmultifilm.
