This screenshot collage is dedicated to all of my friends, fellow artists, fans, and brethren who are fans of Grunch the Caveman in the episode “The Maltese Fossil” from Droopy: Master Detective. So sit back, relax, and soak in Gunch’s brand of rugged virility, raw beastliness, and caveman sexiness.
Ever since I was a six-year-old boy, I remembered this big, strong yet cuddly caveman gracing the screen scaring the stone-age denizens due to his enormous size and emitting the famous Tarzan yell before exclaiming how hungry he was. It turned out that he wanted a bone as a recipe for soup. In fact, that moment when Grunch emitted that Tarzan yell while beating his chests made me have a low-key crush on him all thanks to his mightily strong size, his gorgeous beard, and that ferocious cuddliness he emits underneath that big wall of fierceness.
Now, as an adult, I can say my crush on Grunch has reached a high-key level to the point where I am in complete awe of his towering size and what musculature he has in that gloriously beastly body of his. This has given me an idea for cmara’s crossover contest, as this screenshot collage is a precursor to it, in which I can envision Grunch having a bicep-flexing posedown with his best friends Anabebe, Tar-Chan, Michael, George of the Jungle, Basuli, Tarzan, and Maugli. Something tells me this is going to be absolutely delightful.
I hope you all enjoyed this Grunch-centered screenshot collage and I will see you in the next submission. Take care and stay safe, everybody.
