This was a long overdue art trade I accomplished with one of my very good friends and most loyal watchers Eva formerly known as AquaGemPrincess and nowadays known as SweetBPrincessGaming. This piece of Neo Justice League fan art has been long in the making, as I was extremely busy trying to finish my A-Levels, get into university, and deal with a whole morass of priorities, DeviantArt-related contests, and general life outside DeviantArt.
We have from left to right Leah, who is theBBRae daughter, Daisy, who is the Superman x Wonder Woman daughter, and Max, who is the Batman x Zatanna son. They certainly make a fine superhero ensemble what with Leah changing into different animals and having magic-related powers, Daisy being super strong and super athletic, and Max bearing such mad skills in intuition and a bit of magic to boot.
As much as I am the most hardcore Superman x Wonder Woman and Batman x Zatanna shipper known to man, considering that they are and will always be my OTPs of the Justice League universe, I was and will never be a huge fan of Beastboy x Raven aka BBRae, as I see it more as a clever, taciturn, reserved big sister and preppy, bubbly, annoying little brother dynamic rather than building to something more romantic. It could be the hardcore RobRae and BBTerra shipper in me shouting out loudly over the clamor, but I never really understood why BBRae was such a huge deal because I never shipped them romantically and they just came off as having a more sibling-like relationship, given that Beastboy, prior to joining the Teen Titans was part of the Doom Patrol, never had anyone to call be akin to his siblings until he ended up joining forces with Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, and Raven, who, in turn, were akin to the older siblings he never had. Long story short, Superman x Wonder Woman and Batman x Zatanna still manage to the go signal for me when it comes to Justice League OTPs but BBRae falls extremely short off the OTP poll, I do not want anything to do with that “couple”, and I would more than endeavor to stick to Robin x Raven and Beastboy x Terra.
Nevertheless, my part of Eva’s art trade may have been an odyssey to deal with, but I am glad I have it behind me now.
