FleshThunder: Shipping Them Because I Can

This screenshot motivational poster is dedicated to all of my FleshThunder-shipping friends, fans, and brethren. So, sit back, relax, and soak in that FleshThunder gorgeousness, beauty, and sexiness.

I have been loving “Action League Now!” ever since I first laid my eyes on this particular segment on “Kablam!”, as this was a wonderful superhero parody show consisting of action figures. The two characters who stood out to me were The Flesh, who was one of my childhood crushes thanks to his marvelously muscular physique and lovable dumb muscle personality, and Thunder Girl, who was a fine combination of beauty, sass, and independence, because they were absolutely charming in their own ways and I saw them as a gorgeous-looking power couple. In short, when I was a seven-year-old boy back in 1999, I seriously paired them up as a wonderfully fine couple.

Sure, when I was a child, I used to pair them up because they looked absolutely gorgeous, elegant, and lovely together. This was and will always be attributed to FleshThunder being a fine definition of a brawn and beauty couple who would usually end up in the front cover of many a fitness magazine. Nowadays, that I am approaching my 28th year in life, I can see so much more dynamics between The Flesh and Thunder Girl which can make them function interestingly well as a couple, considering that I get a George of The Jungle and Ursula, Homer and Marge Simpson, Peter and Lois Griffin in the early seasons of “Family Guy”, Stan and Francine Smith from “American Dad”, and Hank and Peggy Hill from “King of The Hill” vibe from this particular couple.

My main reasoning for stating that I get a vibe from these animated sitcom couples through The Flesh and Thunder Girl being a couple is that they are also an absolutely clear-cut example of a sitcom couple. Would The Flesh and Thunder Girl have the perfect relationship? No, but they can easily help each other become better people and find the best in each other. The Flesh may be a bumbling, goofy, innocent musclebound lunkhead but he is charmingly caring, considerate, fun-loving, jovial, and kind. Thunder Girl may be sassy, occasionally brash, and a bit of a diva but she is independent, intelligent, and charismatic. The way I see it, Thunder Girl would definitely wear the pants in this offbeat yet charming relationship, which The Flesh would not mind at all.

This dynamic could even stretch when they start a family with their sons bearing their father’s super strength and magnificent muscles and their daughters bearing their mother’s ability of flight. As to be expected in any family sitcom, The Flesh would easily make the mark as the bumbling yet well-meaning and loving patriarch while Thunder Girl would absolutely cut it as the snarky yet supportive matriarch of the family. Since it has been twenty-six years ago when the pilot episodes of “Action League Now!” premiered on “All That!” and twenty-four years ago when the remaining episodes appeared on “Kablam!”, I figured that The Flesh would be 53 years old and Thunder Girl would be 50 years old with them having six now grown-up children ranging from 29 to 25 years old and being grandparents to their children’s children. The names I would have for their grown-up children would be James and Jason, the eldest 29-year-old twin sons who inherit The Flesh’s super strength and magnificent muscles but also inherit Thunder Girl’s sass, Jeffrey, the second eldest 28-year-old son who also inherits The Flesh’s strength, muscles, and his lovable dimwit personality, Diana, the 27-year-old eldest daughter who inherits Thunder Girl’s ability of flight, beauty, and The Flesh’s super strength, Gabriella, the 26-year-old old middle daughter who inherits Thunder Girl’s ability of flight, sassy personality, and is super stylish, and Hayley, the 25-year-old youngest daughter who inherits not only Thunder Girl’s ability of flight but also The Flesh’s lovable dimwit personality, as she embodies the typically lovable dumb blonde with a Valley Girl attitude even when she ended up married. Throwing in The Flesh’s biological parents and ThunderDad in the mix would also make the family dynamics just as entertaining, as they would not only serve as stern yet loving grandparents to The Flesh’s and Thunder Girl’s six children but also great-grandparents to the very next generation.

In conclusion, I may have shipped The Flesh and Thunder Girl as a couple because I could when I was very young, but, now as an adult, I can see the very interesting dynamics in this couple which could make them function surprisingly well. The Flesh and Thunder Girl are by no means the super perfect couple, but when it comes to seeing the best in each other and establishing a quirky, offbeat, interesting family, they can never go wrong with each other and can easily look beyond the flaws.

I hope you all enjoyed this motivational poster revolving around my ultimate Action League Now OTP of all time, The Flesh x Thunder Girl, and I will see you all in the next submission. Take care, everybody.
