This motivational poster is dedicated to all of the wonderful Brickercup, Blossutch, and Boomubbles shippers out there. So, sit back, relax, and soak in that Brickercup epicness and awesomeness, that Blossutch gorgeousness and elegance, and that Boomubbles sweetness and lovability.
Ladies, gentlemen, Brickercup, Blosstuch, and Boomubbles of all ages, listen up. I do not want to get overly preachy but I cannot deny my everlasting love, admiration, and awe for these three couples, seeing that Brickercup is the best color-clash couple of all time, Blossutch is the best color-crack couple of all time, and Boomubbles is the best color-code couple of all time, at least in my opinion. These are the couples I cannot let go and for those of you who are not in the know of my sentiments concerning Brickercup, Blossutch, and Boomubbles, here is the gist of each couple.
Brick x Buttercup (Brickercup): The Most Awesome and Most Epic Color-Clash Couple of All Time
This should come off as no surprise that the color-clash couples rank so highly in my book when it comes to Rowdyruff x Powerpuff couples. Yes, Butchubbles is lovely, cute, and fun and Blossoomer is genuine, pure, and simply beautiful but Brickercup manages to go toe-to-toe with the rest of the color-clash couples as the greatest set of couples of all time.
Brickercup is an example of a couple that can conquer every obstacle, every hurdle, and every trouble spot and come out triumphant. Sure, both Brick and Buttercup would be fully aware that their relationship is far from being that of a fairy tale or even perfect for that matter. However, with a lot of endurance, resilience, and determination, they can use their toughness, endurance, and combat prowess to overcome anything.
Moreover, Brickercup is a wonderful example of how their similar personalities can gel excellently together, considering how much Brick and Buttercup love to get physical. Brick would easily admire Buttercup for being unique, different from every other girl, and outspoken because she does not have to look pretty, act snooty or be a total brainiac to make Brick like her. Brick would also go out of his way to state to Buttercup that she does not have to change anything about herself because she is Buttercup, the girl who can kick butt and take names and will never take crap from anyone. Meanwhile, Buttercup would be easily attached to Brick’s large-and-in-charge, determined, and resilient personality to the point of not only respecting him but also finding him amazing in every single way.
One can only imagine the wonderfully spicy intimacy Brickercup would have. When all is said and done, what makes Brickercup so inseparable is not only how well their personalities mesh but also how I cannot see them with other people and how loyal they would end up being to each other.
Butch x Blossom (Blossutch): The Most Gorgeous and Most Elegant Color-Crack Couple of All Time
The color-crack couples rank second place for me because of how much I like them but when it comes to Brickubbles and Boomercup they are just cute, innocent pairings and nothing more. That is not the same sentiments I feel for Blossutch, as it is hands-down my OTP of the color-crack couple category.
On the surface, Blossutch is a clear example of the bad boy and bookworm couple. However, look beyond this trope as old as time, and one would see that this is a relationship that is based on trust, healthy synergy, and compassion, thus bettering each other as people. One should also never forget how formidable this particular couple is, considering how well Butch’s muscles, super strength, animal ferocity, and fierceness harmonizes with Blossom’s lethal accuracy, excellent reflexes, unparalleled focus, and unequivocal grace in the battlefield.
In terms of how Butch and Blossom help each other become better people, I cannot doubt that these two will exceed in that aspect thanks to how they would acknowledge each others’ strengths and weaknesses. Even though Butch is super strong, really fierce, and relies on animal instinct and Blossom has lethal accuracy, is really intelligent, and think fast, he has a problem with being overly dependent on his most favorite brother Brick and does not have much self-control and she has a problem with her ego, dealing with the anxieties she encounters of being a role model and the only sane woman, and the expectations of keeping things perfect.
On the one hand, it is true that Butch loves Brick as his most favorite brother to the point where he follows him around like his most loyal bulldog but that dependency can mutate into unhealthy addiction if he does not find individuality and be his own person. This also does not help matters that Butch would not end up getting the final say, since Brick is the one ruling the roost. Luckily for Blossom, she is courageous, diplomatic, savvy, conscientious, cognizant, and clever enough to understand and realize what is truly going on with Butch, seeing that he is nothing compared to the monsters, criminals, and scumbags she encounters everyday. Blossom would inspire Butch to be his own fighter and not what Brick wants him to be by finding the best qualities about Butch and makes sure that he not only treasures each of these qualities but also use them in a way that can help himself and the people he cares about. In turn, Butch would give Blossom the respect, admiration, and compassion she deserves and would be motivated to show and tell Brick how he really feels without compromising that fraternal love and admiration he has for him, thus being more independent and being more courageous enough to come out on his own.
On the other hand, you have Blossom who is so burdened by the responsibilities of being a model citizen, one of the smartest people of Townsville, setting a good example for her family, and trying to keep everything in her life, whether they be academics, her reputation or stature, in a state of perfection. One can only imagine the pressures she would end up feeling inside because of this, thus making her try to wear a mask of perfection and thinking that everything should go her way. In spite of his toughness and roughness, Butch would see that Blossom does not have to be in that mask all the time or even stand on a pedestal just to get herself noticed. He would even go out of his way to say that Blossom is the most beautiful, most intelligent, most courageous, and most awesome girl he has ever met and he loves everything about her, warts and all. On a more irreverent note, he would even say that smart, pretty girls like Blossom turn him on. Therefore, he would always be the one to help her unwind and not be too concerned what other people think of her because, in Butch’s eyes, Blossom is and will always be great for the way she is.
Overall, Butch and Blossom would be the couple who can be able to use their strengths and weaknesses to show the world that they can never be separated, overcome every tribulation, and find joy in the smallest of things.
Boomer x Bubbles (Boomubbles): The Sweetest, Most Lovable, and Most Warm-Hearted Color-Coded Couple of All Time
Considering how my sentiments for the color-coded couples have been going down the drain, especially when an especially overrated red-clad RuffPuff couple and a couple of green-clad hotheads are concerned, do trust I will definitely make separate entries involving Blossick and Butchercup because of how much I cannot stand these two, I might as well say that Boomubbles or The Blues manage to salvage what positive feelings I have for this particularly overrated set of couples.
Sure, Boomubbles is akin to a light dessert at best and a diabetic Frankenfood at worst, but I can still appreciate the Blues for what they represent as a couple. Boomer and Bubbles as a couple represent unconditional love, a peaceful and loving relationship, relentless loyalty, and heaps of nobility.
The chances that both Boomer and Bubbles would end up in a stressful relationship are slim to none because of how attentive, kind, and loving they are to each other and how willing they are to be there for each other 24/7, thus finding each others’ best qualities.
Boomer would be able to use his super strength, super speed, great combat prowess, and overall athleticism to protect Bubbles from all harm, while Bubbles would use her compassion, kindness, generosity, and attentiveness to build better, stronger bridges between her and Boomer in a relationship.
However, one should never underestimate how the Blues are. Just because they are nice, kind, sweet, and cute, does not mean that they can go Blues-vicious in their own ways. Boomer would use his strength, speed, and athleticism to show felons how powerful he can be and Bubbles would be able to use her strength and agility to make her foes bow to her knees. Together, the Blues would be able to demonstrate that they are a collective force to be reckoned with.
Epilogue
I answered my own question when someone asks me if I will ever let go of my love for Brickercup, Blossutch, ad Boomubbles. The answer is clear, as I am never going to give up my love for these three wonderful couples. Each and every one of them has something brilliant to make me root for all of them.
